FantasyPros
Most receivers would be happy to snag 83 catches, but it marked Thomas's lowest output since 2011. He had notched at least 90 catches for 1,000 yards in each of the last five seasons, before succumbing to Trevor Siemian and Brock Osweiler, who are not Peyton Manning. Also not Manning, Case Keenum is at least a competent starter who can steer Thomas closer to 2016's 90-1,083 line. He's the 20th wideout off the board after a disappointing WR23 campaign, so drafters are hardly reaching for a turnaround by grabbing the proven commodity as a high-floor second WR.A fruitful change of scenery made Jeffery's year. Despite a woeful 48 catch % and 3.6 receptions per game, his nine TDs (eight inside the red zone) cemented a WR15 finish. He remains the top wideout on a potent Philadelphia offense, but his year-by-year TD tallies (3-7-10-4-2-9) are living proof of the key stat's volatility. Confirmed to miss at least the first two games, Jeffery's stock should resemble Homer Simpson's attempt to jump the Springfield Gorge.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
It's become the cool thing to avoid Thomas in drafts, and there's good reason for that. He's been trending in the wrong direction since Peyton Manning retired, finishing as the WR13, WR19, and then the WR23 in 2017. The impressive part is his consistency, despite the inconsistency from the quarterback position. The addition of Case Keenum will help more than it'll hurt, so find it in your heart to welcome Thomas into your WR2 slot, as he offers more safety than most taken in this range. Just make sure to attack upside with your WR3 pick. Update: With Courtland Sutton working his way into the starting lineup, it's going to continue to limit Thomas' upside, as Sutton is a big body who is likely a better red zone threat at this point in his career. Thomas is a low-upside, low-end WR2. Did you realize that Jeffery had just a 47.5 percent catch rate in 2017? That ranked 168th of the 211 wide receivers who saw at least one target in 2018. To know that he finished as the WR15 despite that is pretty amazing. The chemistry between him and Carson Wentz should grow as time goes on, though his touchdown rate will likely go down with Wentz's. Still, Jeffery is the clear-cut No. 1 receiver in an offense with a creative play-caller and franchise quarterback. His injury-riddled past is factored in, as he'd be higher on my list if he hadn't missed 11 games in the past three years with a lot of soft tissue injuries. News has been leaked recently that has him potentially remaining on the PUP list to start the season. If that's the case, he'll become nothing more than a late-round bench stash. As of now, it appears that he's likely to at least miss a few games.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Case Keenum is light years ahead of the garbage the Broncos have thrown out a QB over the last few seasons. Thomas should take a step back toward the five consecutive 1,000 yard seasons we saw leading up to last year and is well worth a fourth-round pick.Alshon could start on the PUP list to begin the season so make sure to pay close attention before your draft. He impressed last season, and especially in the playoffs, but let's not forget that he had fewer than 800 receiving yards and has proven to be injury prone in the past. There is upside for sure, but perhaps not quite at the price he is going for.
Jody Smith
FantasyPros
Quietly racked up 140 targets last season and should continue to be heavily featured with a far superior QB option.
Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Thomas would be a WR1 in fantasy if he had an elite quarterback throwing him the ball. He should improve this year with QB Case Keenum behind center, but not enough to make him a WR1.He averaged only 8.3 fantasy points per game, but he also lost his starting quarterback for the last 3 games of the regular season. The big concern is a shoulder injury that could cause him to miss time early in the season.

There's stuff to quibble about - ie, drops, lapses in effort - but he's still been a 90-catch, 1,000-yard, 5-6 TD regular despite Denver's dumpster fire QB situation the past 3 seasons - I'll buy into DT giving us a bit more with Keenum at the helm in '18
Chet Gresham
WalterFootball
Thomas' fantasy fate will rely on Case Keenum, which isn't exactly who you want to hitch your fate too, but Thomas' prospects are better than with Siemian, Osweiler, and company.Jeffery is in a strong offense and will be able to start 2018 as a veteran of that offense rather than a rookie like last season. He scored seven touchdowns in his last seven games. UPDATE: Jeffery has yet to practice and there is a possibility he might not be ready for Week 1 and could even land on the PUP list, knocking him out of the first six games. The odds are against that, but keep an eye on his status. *
Kevin Wheeler
NFL Mock
Between weeks 8-15 last season (7 games) Alshon Jeffery totaled 30 catches on 62 targets for 427 yards and 7 touchdowns. As #Eagles gear up for the season, WR Alshon Jeffery has remained on PUP. Though he's progressing according to plan, sources say the timing of his rotator cuff surgery -- following the Super Bowl win - means there's a chance he may not be ready for the opener. Could stay on PUP. @RapSheet

How does a 6' 3", 230-lb receiver with a 40-yard dash time nearly as fast as T.Y Hilton sound? Sound good? Well it damn sure should, because now this guy gets a top 15 QB (yes, you can @ me if you disagree) in Case Keenum throwing to him instead of the ferris wheel of fools Jon Elway chose to roll out for the Broncos post-Peyton. While last season Thomas received the tenth highest target share in the NFL, these targets have far less value than any other receivers' in the NFL because you know why, and he was able to record a measly five touchdowns with a solid ΒΌ of the team's total red zone targets. Not to turn the Demaryius hype train into a runaway Amtrak from Philly to DC, but with a similar target share and competent QB play from Keenum behind a markedly worse O-line in Denver, Thomas could crack the top 10 by season's close. Don't forget Royce Freeman enters the fold here to turn some passes to rushes, and Emmanuel Sanders is still a phenomenal #2 who will nab targets, but Thomas could be the receiver that wins you your league this year.As a die-hard Eagles fan, I will sing to the heavens of the exploits of Alshon Jeffery last season. In a year of growth for both he, his quarterback, and his team as a whole, Jeffery only managed 57 receptions, 789 yards, though with a whopping nine touchdowns. These statistics however, belie the upside of a top 10 WR for two distinct reasons: 1) Jeffery was relied upon more toward the end of the season as his rapport with Carson Wentz, and later Nick Foles, strengthened, and most importantly 2) Jeffery played the whole season with a torn rotator cuff. Man that's tough. Look for a solid game-to-game floor with huge games mixed in for the #1 receiver in a dynamic Eagles offense.

Keenum should breathe some life into the former first round pickSeems like a shoe-in for a top 25 performance after him and Wentz showed improved chemistry as the season progressed
