Lineups
The Bears were forced to throw the ball much more than they wanted to last season as their defense and run game faltered. Allen Robinson was the primary beneficiary as he had a career-high 154 targets and finished with 98 catches for 1,147 yards and 7 touchdowns. Robinson is an elite talent who has consistently produced despite poor quarterback play for the entirety of his career. If Nick Foles takes over for Mitchell Trubisky this season, it could represent an upgrade for Robinson. Either way, he's likely to be among the league's target leaders again as the Bears' ancillary pass-catching options are underwhelming. There always seem to be a few factors working against Amari Cooper whether it be injuries, inconsistency, drops, etc. He's undoubtedly one of the most talented wide receivers in the NFL, but he just hasn't put it together as consistently as his teams want. Dak Prescott will throw to the best receiving corps of his career with Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb in tow. Cooper is going to suffer from some target inconsistency, and while he's a clear talent who would not be a surprise in the top ten, he just isn't the type of receiver I like to build around.
Draft Engine
Draft Engine
The No. 1 option in Chicago's passing game, Robinson has led the Bears in targets in each of his two seasons with the team. While it would be foolish to expect Robinson to come close to duplicating the 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns he posted in 2015, he did join Brandon Marshall and Marty Booker as the third Bears wideout ever to reach 98 receptions in a season. After being targeted only 31 times over Oakland's first six 2018 games before being traded to Dallas, Cooper quickly established himself as the focal point of the Cowboys' passing game. The five-year, 100 million contract he signed in March includes 60 million guaranteed and sends a clear message that Dallas views him as the primary option in the team's passing game.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Allen Robinson turned back the clock in 2019, parlaying his first healthy season in three years into a WR11 finish. The most impressive aspect of his effort was the volume he received, with 18 more receptions than his breakout 1400 year sophomore season. While the emergence of Anthony Miller may threaten that volume, the release of Taylor Gabriel should mean A-Rob is locked into 150-odd targets. Given the possible positive efficiency regression if this offense takes a must needed step forward, Robinson is a real chance for a massive season. He's great value in the early 3rd round but can be taken even later than that.Amari Cooper was the WR9 in 2019 but boy it didn't feel like it for Cooper owners. While
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
We saw a 150-plus target season for Robinson in 2019, which was a rarity among wide receivers. Based on where his targets took place, he had the fourth-most expected fantasy points among wide receivers last year. There's little reason to expect that to change, as the Bears lost Taylor Gabriel and replaced him with an older, slower version in Ted Ginn. There were just two games last season where Robinson finished with fewer than seven targets, making him an easy every-week start. In fact, he posted WR2 or better numbers in 62.5 percent of his games, which ranked fifth behind only Michael Thomas, DeAndre Hopkins, Julio Jones, and Davante Adams. The fact that the Bears snagged Nick Foles only helps the Bears receivers, as they have twice the chance at competent quarterback play. Robinson should be considered a high-floor, low-end WR1, as it's unlikely he comes with the ceiling of those with better quarterback play. It's somewhat maddening that Cooper can't get the 150-plus targets that some do, as he's continually one of the most efficient receivers in the league. Did you know Michael Gallup averaged more targets per game than Cooper last year? Cooper's injury may have played into that but it didn't stop him from being one of the best in the league. Based on the number of his targets and where they took place on the field, Cooper should've finished as the No. 23 wide receiver, and not the No. 9 receiver he did. In fact, he was the only receiver in the league who scored 20-plus more fantasy points than he was expected to in both the red zone and outside the red zone. The addition of CeeDee Lamb isn't going to make getting targets any easier for Cooper, who's now seen 195 targets in 25 games with the Cowboys. Because he's not getting the gaudy numbers that some are, Cooper should be considered a semi-volatile WR2 in fantasy who has more WR1 upside than most on a weekly basis. If Cooper were to get 150 targets, I have zero doubts that he'd finish as a top-three receiver, but as we've seen, that just doesn't happen.
Frank Bonincontri
Fantasy Wire HQ
He got it done with Trubs last season, but with Nick Foles running an RPO offense, I like Arob even more.#FantasyLocust but damn I'm almost drooling over the potential of this McCarthy/Moore called offense
Rob Wilson
The Fantasy Footballers
Foles is the best QB he's ever had. Robinson should be a steady back end WR1 again in 2020The 1A in Dallas, he will frustrate you at times but win your week other times. Cooper is a great WR2 if you land a high-volume pass catcher in the first three rounds.
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
Even while catching balls from Mitch Trubisky, Allen Robinson was a legitimate stud in 2019 catching 98 passes for 1,147 yards and seven TDs. Now, he may get an upgrade at QB with Nick Foles in Chicago. Similarly to many players, COVID will impact his ability to work with his new QB but once they get on the same page, we could see a more dangerous Robinson than ever.Cooper finally put together a complete season last year in Dallas and has the chance to build on that in 2020. Even with the addition of rookie WR CeeDee Lamb, there will still be plenty of targets for Cooper to remain a WR1.

FantasyPros
Robinson was the lone bright spot in the passing game, finishing 2019 with 1149 yards from scrimmage and 7 touchdowns. I think whether Nick Foles or Mitchell Trubisky is the starter, he is a WR2 capped by a dicey QB situation.Cooper really did not build on his 2018 season and finished 2019 with 1,195 yards receiving and 8 receiving touchdowns. Cooper is among the most talented receivers in the league and worthy or WR2 value, but he is not consistent enough to be an elite WR1.

FantasyPros
There are very few players that we can claim who could finish as the No. 1 overall fantasy WR this season. Robinson is one of those players with his skillset and the offense that he's in. If Nick Foles is the starting QB, this offense is going to be able to move the ball more effectively than they did last season, which means even more scoring opportunities and targets for the receiving options. Anthony Miller is Robinson's only real threat for targets in this offense and Robinson was incredibly productive last season with Mitchell Trubisky throwing him the ball. Robinson saw 154 targets and 98 receptions in 2019 and there's a possibility we see that number go up this year. Don't miss out on drafting Robinson, especially when you factor in his ADP right now.Cooper's been a frustrating player to roll out in fantasy lineups over the past few seasons due to his tendency to simply disappear some weeks. This season, he now has to compete with Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb for targets, which isn't going to help alleviate those concerns from fantasy players minds. Cooper certainly has the talent to take over and single-handedly deliver you a victory any given week, but his inconsistencies are likely to extend over into this season. Cooper's a risky pick at his current ADP.

Since being drafted (2014), among WRs w 300+ targets, ARob is: - 17th in PPR pg (14.32) - 12th Targets pg (8.78) - 20th in Rec pg (4.93) - 18th in YPG (65.96) - 13th in Rec TDs (33) with nothing at QB @FF_MarvinE

Was the lipstick on Bears' piggish offense in 2019 with Top 10 WR finish in FAN PTS - sounds crazy, but Foles arguably best passing QB he's ever been paired withCan be a frustrating week-to-week rollercoaster ride but his 13.5 Half PPF FAN PPG mark in 25 regular-season games in DAL is Top 12 level production at WR

Never had fewer than 5 targets in any game. Super consistent despite the QB play. Will always be underrated because of his inconsistency IMO. Finished as WR10 on the year with only 119 targets and constantly dealing with injury. If he returns to Dallas he will continue being the alpha. Cobb might get some McCarthy love, Gallup will get some 3rd year leap love, but Cooper will always remain the clear 1 for me. Gallup still struggles with catch consistency and Cobb is a nice slot piece but nothing more, especially for fantasy. Could also be out the door.
