Anthony Miller's played in 15 games last season as a rookie finishing with 33 receptions, 423 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns. A shoulder injury impeded his production for most of the season. The Bears are expected to throw the football more in 2019 after averaging 32.6 pass attempts per game in 2018. This ranked 26th in the NFL. Miller is entering training camp healthy and has had a full NFL offseason to continue to hone his craft. fantasydata.com4 game suspension - Tate has averaged 8.1 targets, 5.6 receptions, and 63.5 receiving yards per game since 2014. The thought of having a WR on your fantasy roster tethered to QB Eli Manning is not appealing. The target volume as the Giants slot receiver is. fantasydata.com
Michael Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Anthony Miller is currently one of my favorite picks at ADP. He was battling injuries basically throughout his whole rookie season but in 13 games he put up 33/423/7, respectable. The most impressive part is the TDs obviously, and they did not bring in any receiving help so I expect him to continue to be a big part of their red zone offense. I can see him jumping ARob as the main guy there after a healthy offseason with Trubisky. Now 32 years old and coming off his worst season in years. Should still be targeted a bunch but has a very low ceiling.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
The Giants represented a decent spot for Tate, given the dearth of receiving options for the team. But his four-game suspension realy hurts his value for obvious reasons. Because he can still play in the preseason, he should have enough time to develop chemistry with Eli Manning (to the extent there is such a thing anymore). But he should be considered only a borderline WR4 on draft day at this point.
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Anthony Miller saw at least 5 targets in only three games last season. His average in those games was approximately 5 receptions, 69 yards, .33 TDs. Has upside if he's able to hop ARob as the #1 option or becomes the 1b in the Bears offense.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Miller is oozing with talent but was limited last year because of multiple injuries that weighed him down throughout the season. He has breakout potential but could very well prove to be drop-worthy in September too.Going into last year, Tate had 90+ receptions in four straight seasons. He was actually on track to do it again to go with 1,200+ yards up until the trade, at which point he became an afterthought in an offense where he wasn't familiar with the playbook Don't be surprised when he returns to the norm from the moment he returns from his suspension since Beckham vacated so many targets.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
It was a somewhat rough year for Miller in 2018, as most don't realize he had a Jones fracture in his foot prior to the NFL Draft, which was why he didn't participate in the Combine. He then went on to play through a separated shoulder his rookie season, yet proceeded to score seven touchdowns on just 54 targets. Miller seemingly has a knack for the end zone, as he scored 33 touchdowns in his final 26 games at Memphis. He did have shoulder surgery this offseason, but he is expected to be ready for the start of training camp. Knowing how well he played through injuries, you must wonder what he can do when healthy while playing the slot in Matt Nagy's offenseAs we saw with Tate in Philadelphia last year, it's tough to go to a brand-new team and produce the way fantasy owners have come to expect. He's now on his third team in months, though it helps the Giants lack big-name receivers, so he's likely going to see plenty of targets. Yes, those targets will be coming from Eli Manning, but don't forget that Manning has been able to support Odell Beckham and Sterling Shepard as somewhat consistent fantasy options. He's a low-upside WR3/4 option. There's also a four-game suspension looming for him, which would slide him down draft boards even more, though he's appealing the suspension and believes he can avoid any missed games. It's a situation you need to pay attention to before selecting him.

feel like I'm always a tad lower on Bears pass catchers because they cannibalize each other a bit

Fantasy Football Advice
I love Anthony Miller this season. There was hype surrounding him going into last season, but he was a rookie, and suffered a dislocated shoulder early in the season. This year, I'm expecting a sophomore breakout. A mid second round pick last season, Miller boasts an 86th percentile burst score, an 85th percentile agility score, and a 90th percentile SPARQ-x score. His stat line wasn't overly impressive (33/432/7), but Trubisky's inconsistent play left a lot of yards on the field. The community would be telling a completely different story had Mitch been a hair more accurate last season. I expect him to be a larger part of the offense this season, and he should be better on a per target basis now that his shoulder injury is behind him. Miller is a prime breakout candidate, and is worth targeting in the back half of drafts.I love Golden Tate as a player. He's one of the best slot receivers in the game, and I was shocked that 1) The Lions traded him, and 2) The Eagles didn't use him more. Tate now moves to the Giants disgrace of an offense. Unfortunately, Tate just won't have the opportunity to be a reliable fantasy asset this season. He'll have good weeks, but he's behind Shepard/Engram/Barkley for targets in the receiving game. I'm not drafting the 4th option in an Eli Manning lead offense.
