Lineups
I loved the Devin Singletary breakout last season and I believe in the Bills as a dark horse Super Bowl contender this season. However, the drafting of Zack Moss will impact Singletary's workload as Moss is a talented player with three-down potential. This is going to be more of a committee than most expect , and we shouldn't expect this to be a high-octane offense. Singletary will be serviceable but there's guys I'd rather have in his range.
John Hesterman
Dynasty League Football
Reports out of camp have indicated that Singletary is struggling with fumbling issues. While he may open the season as the starter, Zack Moss could gain a leg up if Singletary continues to struggle with protecting the football.
Draft Engine
Draft Engine
With former Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter hired as Atlanta's offensive coordinator prior to last season, Falcons QB Matt Ryan took more deep shots in 2019 than he had under Steve Sarkisian the prior couple of years. One of the beneficiaries was Ridley, who was on pace to surpass 80 catches and 1,100 yards when an abdominal injury in the first half of Atlanta's Week 14 game ended his season.A compact, slippery back who effectively picks his way for yardage between the tackles, Singletary showed the ability as a rookie to be surprisingly effective through contact. Reports from training camp suggest that Zack Moss could earn enough playing time to limit Singletary's breakout upside.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Calvin Ridley is the definition of a breakout candidate going into his third season. With Sanu and Hooper out of town and an offense that will need to continue throwing a lot, Ridley should be a strong fantasy option with massive upside if he can start to take over from Julio Jones. Just remember though, there's no guarantee the breakout happens this year so don't pay for his ceiling.Devin Singletary had a truly bizarre 2019, splitting touches 180-179 with plodder Frank Gore, getting only 4 touches inside the 10-yard line and only getting 29 receptions. So while Zack Moss will surely have a more meaningful role than Gore, it's likely Singletary will have more touches in 2020, with 200 a reasonable number. Sadly, while his receptions may slightly increase, as one of the league's smallest backs it's highly unlikely he'll get any of the valuable goal line touches. His only path to true upside is a Moss injury, as 2019 proved even a mediocre performance by his teammate won't lead to Singletary becoming a workhorse. Don't get sucked into the hype, Devin's at best a low-RB2 and that would require improvement on last season.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Prior to getting hurt and having his season cut short, Ridley was on pace for 1,066 yards and eight touchdowns in 2019, which would have had him as the WR14. Now going into his third NFL season, there's a real chance for a breakout. Sure, Julio Jones isn't going away but he doesn't have to. Not many realize that Mohamed Sanu saw 94 targets in 2018 and was on pace for 96 targets before being traded in 2019. We don't really expect Russell Gage to fill that role, do we? If you want to know if there's room for both Ridley and Jones to be WR1s, look no further than the Bucs last year with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, even if it is rare for that to happen. Ridley saw 49 targets in the six games he played without Sanu, which would amount to 131 over an entire 16-game season. Ridley has real top-five breakout potential and is an ideal high-end WR2 on your fantasy team. There were many celebrating the end of the Frank Gore era in Buffalo, but they went out and added one of my favorite backs in the draft, Zack Moss, to use in that Gore role. GM Brandon Beane said, "I think more of the goal line and things like that as we did with Frank last year, you'll see Zack do. I think Devin will do a similar role that he had." This is your reminder that Singletary had just two carries inside the five-yard-line all year, while Josh Allen had five, and Frank Gore had 11. That's a crushing blow to Singletary's value.
Frank Bonincontri
Fantasy Wire HQ
2020 is the breakout seasonThe selection of Zach Moss in the draft signals a commitment to Singletary (again) not getting goalline work for a second season. I love Singletary as a bye week fill in only for fantasy purposes. If he is there in the draft, ehhhhhh we'll see but I would likely scoop a few others over him.
Rob Wilson
The Fantasy Footballers
Should breakout, but his ADP has entered 2019 Chris Godwin territory. Pressure to produce is very high, and may not be worth the cost.Chance to be an underrated asset due to the Zack Moss hype. Solid RB3 target in the middle rounds
Dalton Kates
APEX Fantasy Leagues
Efficient rookie RB who started slowly becoming a workhorse as the season finished last year. We want to be chasing efficiency, but also have to take into account that they drafted Zack Moss who will likely take the goal line work away. Not as much upside here, but should be a serviceable RB.
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
Calvin Ridley is quietly becoming one of the league's best young breakout WRs. Even while playing second fiddle to Julio Jones, Ridley totaled 833 yards and 7 TDs last year and that was in only 13 games. The Falcons offense is always high-flying and I'd want to get as many pieces of that offense as possible, Ridley very much included.Singletary dealt with Frank Gore and injuries in 2019 and he still managed to score over 11 fantasy points per game. Now he's the clear-cut lead back in an ascending offense. I like Singletary as a low-end RB2/ high-end flex.
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
4th in Breakaway% (runs of 15+ yards) - Rookie Moss likely to take F. Gore's role but Singletary should push 250 touches while making strides in the pass game
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
WR 29 in PPG his rookie season and WR 17 in PPG last season. The arrow is pointing up for Ridley and he has a very safe floor. He won't have the overall WR1 upside that those around him like Evans and AJ Brown have, but he also has less questions.
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
There may not be more of a value in all of fantasy football ADP right now than Ridley. He's connected to one of the best offenses in the NFL and he's essentially a lock to see over 115 targets if he plays all 16 games. At his current ADP, Ridley's a home run selection and has the potential of finishing the season as a WR1.Singletary will remain in his change-of-pace role with Zack Moss now in town. Singletary should hover around the RB2/RB3 border all season long.
Kevin Wheeler
Draftwize
Matt Ryan has supported 2 Top 24 PPR WRs four times in his career. Amongst active QBs, only Aaron Rodgers has more seasons of supporting 2 Top 24 WRs. @ClutchFantasy He's been pegged as a potential breakout player this year on one of the pass-heaviest offense in the league. Weeks 1-14 last season, he was the WR14 overall. @SWallace_FFDevin Singletary had just 3 rush attempts inside the 10. Frank Gore (18) & Josh Allen (11) combined for 29 rush att inside the 10. Combined this would have ranked 5th in the NFL in 2019. With Zack Moss assuming the 'Frank Gore' role, we probably won't see Singletary's upside in 2020. @TheFantasyPT

Getting out targeted by Austin Hooper in the same amount of games can't feel great. Has been a TD king up to this point. My only small worry for guys like Ridley and McLaurin. They come out as seniors, basically fully developed, and we expect them to continue taking large steps forward when they most likely came out of college as more of a finished product, near their ceiling. However, now that Hooper has left, I would expect a better season, just based on target volume.Frank Gore out rushed him 166-151. If he returns, I think that number goes Singletary's way. He was far more efficient with his carries. My Only worry is that the team might not let him get over 200 touches often because of his size, but that's not up to me. He paced at just over 200 carries in 12 games but this with getting minimal work in his first 4 games. Was on pace for 262 after the first 4 games played.

Ridley was solid with 900 yards from scrimmage and 7 touchdowns, but he needs to work on consistency to be more than a WR3.
