Pack to the Future
Year in and year out Julio Jones proves to be one of the most incredible football players (not just WRs) in the NFL. His reception and yardage numbers are up there with the leagues best but unfortunately, he's always had a difficult time finding the end-zone. Only once in his nine-year career has he eclipsed 10 receiving TDs. His low TD numbers are the only reason he isn't an automatic top-3 WR.Calvin Ridley is quietly becoming one of the league's best young breakout WRs. Even while playing second fiddle to Julio Jones, Ridley totaled 833 yards and 7 TDs last year and that was in only 13 games. The Falcons offense is always high-flying and I'd want to get as many pieces of that offense as possible, Ridley very much included.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
You'd have to go all the way back to 2013 to find the last time Julio Jones didnt finish as a top-8 wide receiver in fantasy football, and the only reason he didn't was due to injury (he was the No. 3 wide receiver in points per game that year). Keep in mind he's done all that without scoring a lot of touchdowns. Sure, the Falcons have Calvin Ridley making his way into a bigger role, but you simply cannot find a safer option to finish inside the top-10 every single year.Prior to getting hurt and having his season cut short, Ridley was on pace for 1,066 yards and eight touchdowns in 2019, which would have had him as the WR14. Now going into his third NFL season, there's a real chance for a breakout, though Julio Jones isn't going away any time soon. If you want to know if there's room for both to be WR1s, look no further than the Bucs last year with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, though it's rare for that to happen. Still, Ridley is an ascending talent and the Falcons didn't add a receiver of significance to replace Mohamed Sanu.
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
With all the vacated targets from last season's ATL offense, NOLA's M. Thomas might be the only WR in 2020 to hold a candle to Jones' target volume
Michael Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
The age defying machine. Draft with confidence, especially if you can pair him with a first round RB.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Jones is the model of consistency, his season has ended with him ranked 8th, 2nd, 6th, 6th, 5th, and 5th the last six seasons. He does turn 31-years old this off-season, but there is no reason to think he can't be an elite WR1 with QB Matt Ryan at the helm in 2020.Ridley was solid with 900 yards from scrimmage and 7 touchdowns, but he needs to work on consistency to be more than a WR3.
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Julio Jones had 1394 receiving yards last season, second in the league only to Michael Thomas, and that was his LOWEST yardage output since his rookie season in 2013. You can't find a more consistent player year-over-year and at 31 years old, he certainly still has enough left in him to stay at this level for another year.WR 29 in PPG his rookie season and WR 17 in PPG last season. The arrow is pointing up for Ridley and he has a very safe floor. He won't have the overall WR1 upside that those around him like Evans and AJ Brown have, but he also has less questions.
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
It's hard to find someone who's been as outstanding as Julio Jones over the past few years. Jones has finished as the WR5 or higher each of the past three seasons and he seems like a lock to repeat that type of performance again in 2020. This offense is going to air it out and Jones has yet to show any sign that he's losing a step at this point of his career. Feel confident in drafting Jones again as a top-5 option in 2020.There may not be more of a value in all of fantasy football ADP right now than Ridley. He's connected to one of the best offenses in the NFL and he's essentially a lock to see over 115 targets if he plays all 16 games. At his current ADP, Ridley's a home run selection and has the potential of finishing the season as a WR1.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
WR6, WR2, WR6, WR4, WR5, WR3. Has anyone been more reliable in fantasy over the last six years? Julio Jones continues to churn out the numbers in this high powered Falcons offence. That's despite consistently low TD numbers and serious target competition in Calvin Ridley and Austin Hooper. While Ridley will undoubtedly continue to grow in this offence, Julio remains the superior player and with Hooper gone there's certainly room for both. Jones is often available early in the second round and that's spectacular value for a guy who's so reliable.Calvin Ridley is the definition of a breakout candidate going into his third season. With Sanu and Hooper out of town and an offence that will need to continue throwing a lot, Ridley should be a strong fantasy option with massive upside if he can start to take over from Julio Jones. Just remember though, there's no guarantee the breakout happens this year so don't pay for his ceiling.

Crossroads Fantasy Football
A monster. 6 year average of 162 targets, 103/1565/6. Now, if I were to find some chips in the Julio armor, his yards per reception were his lowest in a full season since 2015. His yards per target were a career low. This might be the beginning of the end, but I think he gives us a few more good years before that time, he's such a freak, and if I were to bet, he won't age like your standard big WR.Getting out targeted by Austin Hooper in the same amount of games can't feel great. Has been a TD king up to this point. My only small worry for guys like Ridley and McLaurin. They come out as seniors, basically fully developed, and we expect them to continue taking large steps forward when they most likely came out of college as more of a finished product, near their ceiling. However, now that Hooper has left, I would expect a better season, just based on target volume.
