Meredith looks like he'll be ready to go for training camp and as long as that pans out, I think he could push for targets and with Drew Brees, that's a good thing. *Ridley is NFL ready and should be able to challenge Mohammed Sanu for the No. 2 receiver spot this season.

FantasyPros
Although Meredith is far from a sure thing, the word is that he is recovering well from surgery and should be good to go this season. Now that he is on Drew Brees' team, big things could be in store if he gets a chance, but that will be a significant challenge in itself. Consider him to be a late-end lottery ticket.Although Ridley wasn't drafted as the top receiver in the class, he is certainly the most polished. Sure, he's got a guy named Julio Jones hogging targets in his offense, but Ridley should start from the get-go and is playing with the MVP from two seasons ago.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
It was a knee injury that looked like it could be a career-ender, but Meredith latched on with the Saints this offseason and will now be catching passes from Drew Brees. Shortly after snagging him, the Saints cut ties with Willie Snead, opening up the slot role that Meredith played so well while with the Bears. Meredith's sample size is relatively small, but when you rack up 888 yards and four touchdowns from Brian Hoyer and Matt Barkley, there's plenty of optimism. The issue is that Michael Thomas, Alvin Kamara, Ted Ginn, and maybe even Ben Watson are ahead of him in the pecking order. He's likely to have some big weeks, but I wouldn't expect a weekly contributor. I banged the drum for Ridley all offseason, saying he was the most pro-ready receiver in the draft. When he was taken by the Falcons, it was tough to love the landing spot, as Julio Jones demands a lot of targets. With that, Ridley will see a lot of No. 2 cornerbacks in man coverage, meaning he's going to have some big weeks. Think about Taylor Gabriel's effect he had on the Falcons offense in his first year there and that's likely what you'll get out of Ridley in 2018. He's just a WR4/5, but he's going to have some massive weeks.
