Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Beckham fought through a core injury all last year, which he addressed this offseason with surgery. His talent is undeniable, but there are plenty of red flags. He's missed 21 games already in his career, has to share targets with a crowded group of pass-catchers, and will be playing for a head coach in Kevin Stefanski whose offense ran the ball 48% of the time last year. So it's unlikely that Beckham is going to see close to the more than 10 targets per game he has averaged in his career. There's immense upside with Beckham because, well, he's Beckham. But he's not going to see the 24.9% target share he saw last year, so you're better off taking him as your WR2 and hoping everything breaks right.
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
Flashed occasional vintage play-making skills in 2019 despite playing through sports hernia - at 27, with health restored, expect a big rebound, especially if WR Landry misses time96.9 YPG over past 2 seasons ranks 8th-best among RBs in that span, and he's also chipped in 9 TDs in each campaign - expected to be fully recovered from hip injury by Week 1
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Many have already moved on from Beckham, like he wasn't a top-three receiver whenever he took the field for the first five years of his career. I'm unwilling to move him out of the top-10 receivers when practically everyone on the Browns was a disaster last year. Despite his bad 2019 season, Beckham has been a WR2 or better in 64.0 percent of the games over his career. The only players with better rates over their career are Michael Thomas, Julio Jones, and Antonio Brown. If we knew Carson would be healthy the entire season, he'd be ranked as a top-12 running back. But we don't. There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the Seahawks backfield, as Carson is coming off a season-ending hip injury, while Rashaad Penny is recovering from a torn ACL, and they drafted DeeJay Dallas in the fourth round of the draft. You'll want to pay close attention to this backfield as we approach fantasy draft season.
Elliot Berkovits
Pack to the Future
The Seahawks backfield is never an easy one to figure out but over the last two seasons, Carson has proven to be the superior back to Rashad Penny. While he will never get a full workload, I expect Carson to see the majority of the work, especially near the goal line.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
OBJ had a horrible first year in Cleveland with 1,045 yards receiving and 4 receiving touchdowns. He is more of a WR2 that needs to stay healthy and have better chemistry with Baker Mayfield to achieve WR1 status.Carson is a RB2 coming off a season with 1,496 yards from scrimmage and 9 touchdowns. The only downside was his 7 fumbles. Seattle could be a RBBC this year, but if Carson can hang onto the ball, he is a solid RB2.
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
OBJ is moving into the Adam Thielen role in Kevin Stefanksi's offense and should be the target leader in this offense. As long as he can stay healthy, OBJ has the potential to finish the season as a high-end WR1. However, there are legitimate concerns regarding OBJ's health and whether or not he's going to be to able to stay on the field for all 16 games. The benefit this season, versus in previous years, is that those concerns are baked into Beckham's ADP. He's a solid WR2 addition for your roster with WR1 upside.Carson is a bit of a question mark for 2020 at this point due to his recovery from a hip injury. While all signs point to him being ready to start week one, we need to be prepared to shift as new news comes out. Right now, drafting Carson at his current ADP is certainly risky.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
OBJ once again battled injuries and poor QB play as he disappointed for the third consecutive season. This year was arguably worse as he played 16 games despite injury but continued to disappoint most weeks. It's very difficult to trust Odell to any extent, especially with the potential move to an even more run-heavy offence and the arrival of Austin Hooper. While the possible injury issues for Jarvis Landry may initially open up some opportunities, there are many safer options this high in the draft. The Seahawks running back room remains a nightmare for fantasy. There's clearly enormous upside available but it's an annual mess of the fumble master Chris Carson, injury prone Rashaad Penny and now the fun sponge Carlos Hyde. The common fantasy wisdom in these situations is to take the cheapest option but Rashaad Penny looks likely to start the season on IR and Carlos Hyde clearly isn't taking the starting role so it's really Carson that's the only valid option. If Carson gets the volume he enjoyed for most of 2019, he's a non-PPR monster with 20+ carries and 100+ yards most weeks. He's even starting to improve in the receiving game and has legitimate upside as a true workhorse in this elite Seahawks offence. If only the risk wasn't there. I'm taking him late in the 2nd round as a high upside option to pair with a veteran like Leveon Bell or Todd Gurley in the 3rd or 4th.
Kevin Wheeler
Draftwize
Odell saw 137 targets last season and received a 26% target share, which led the team. Odell saw 15 targets in the red zone, but only came down with 1 TD in goal line situations. He finished with 4 TDs on the season. During the offseason Odell had sports hernia surgery and it was reported that he is near full health. In an interview he stated, "I would honestly say this is probably going to be one of my best seasons -- bigger, stronger, faster. This my time.'' Odell saw the 3rd most air yards last season, with 1,801. He is due for positive regression in a few different areas. @gnarlynickk
Bart Wheeler
Hail to Fantasy Football
The Seahawks signing Carlos Hyde likely has more to do with Penny's health (or lack thereof), but it still has me moving Carson down a couple of spots.
Seth Miller
Crossroads Fantasy Football
Mulligan please. Played the year hampered by his core and a coach. Odell Beckham in the Kevin Stefanski, Stefon Diggs role would be awesome because Odell is better..Odell had the second most deep targets in 2019, with some of the worst production. Only the Carolina duo had worse numbers, of WRs with at least 21 deep targets, go figure.Hip injury is definitely something to follow-> Actually didn't need surgery for it, is expected to make a full recovery. Meanwhile, there is talk of the PUP list for Rashaad Penny, and bring Marshawn Lynch back, all good news for Chris Carson
