Zachary Hanshew
FantasyPros
After four seasons with Gang Green as one of the team's top options, Anderson joins a Panthers team with a lot of mouths to feed. The deep-threat receiver has totaled 18 touchdowns over the last three seasons, while averaging 15 yards per reception. He can still be a fantasy-relevant contributor in 2020, though his week-to-week consistency will likely take a hit.
Kevin Wheeler
Draftwize
2019 looks like a mirage in an otherwise bulletproof profile. He broke out at 20.1 (after posting a 29% Dominator Rating as a true freshman), left school with a 32% DR, and got drafted in Round 2. He was efficient as a rookie (8.7 YPT) in a horrible situation. @JackMiller02Robby Anderson had four avoided tackles and 3.5 YAC/reception on 52 catches in 2019.
Draft Engine
Draft Engine
One of 16 NFL receivers to average more than 8.3 targets per game in 2019, Kirk's usage will likely dip a bit this season with DeAndre Hopkins coming in as the primary option in Arizona's passing game. Kirk hasn't been particularly durable over his two NFL seasons, missing three games last October with an ankle injury and four games in December 2018 after suffering a foot injury.Anderson is one of only three NFL players along with Mike Evans and Kenny Golladay to rank among the league's top 20 wideouts in yards per reception while catching 50 or more passes in each of the past two seasons. With new Carolina quarterback Teddy Bridgewater having been more of a dink-and-dunk specialist in recent years, expect Anderson's 2020 output to lack consistency.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Christian Kirk was scheduled for a sophomore breakout and it happened, but only for one week, as he crammed in 138 yards and all three of his 2019 TDs into the week 10 Buccs game. He was otherwise rather inconsistent, with a lot of quiet weeks and no green zone TDs despite 6 targets. It was a strange season which is over-complicated by the Deandre Hopkins trade. I'm not touching him at his 9th round price, not because you won't get enough return for that investment, but because he lacks the upside to make a major seasonal impact. It's hard to see exactly how Robby Anderson will fit into the Panthers offense, but it's fair to say he'll provide more real-life benefit than fantasy benefit. With Christian McCaffrey and D.J. Moore sucking in 130+ targets each and Curtis Samuel and Ian Thomas sucking up 160+ between them, Anderson will need the Panthers to throw a lot to get a useful amount of targets. Luckily, the Panthers look like they'll be awful this year and that could mean massive passing volume. It'll be more efficient with Teddy Bridgewater at the controls too. It fair to assume Anderson can manage 900-odd yards with half a dozen TDs and that would be good enough for a cusp WR3. That's nothing special but he's the kind of guy that needs to be drafted in every league, even though you're never excited to draft him.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
He has the benefit of playing a year with Kyler Murray in Kliff Kingsbury's offense, while DeAndre Hopkins may go through a learning curve. Despite playing just 13 games last year, Kirk saw 107 targets (132 target pace over 16 games). The issue is that Hopkins will get a large chunk of the pie, and Larry Fitzgerald didn't return to play another season to see just 50 targets. It'll be hard for anyone to correctly predict the target share among these receivers, but Kirk is an ascending talent who's entering year three of his young career. Knowing the Cardinals receivers combined for 368 targets last year, it's hard to see a scenario where Kirk sees more targets than he did last year, especially when you know they run a lot of 4WR sets (which cuts into the overall target pie). Kirk has also scored just three touchdowns in each of his first two seasons, so touchdowns aren't likely to make up for a lower target share. He's likely going to be somewhat of a hit-or-miss WR3/4 in 2020 with inconsistent targets.Switching teams as a wide receiver this offseason seems... less than ideal. It does help, however, when there's a new quarterback on that team, as well as a coach you've played for in the past. Matt Rhule was the coach while Anderson was at Temple back in 2015. The issue is that Bridgewater's strengths don't really align with Anderson's. Bridgewater threw the ball 20-plus yards just 7.1 percent of the time last year, which ranked second lowest in the league. Anderson's skill set just doesn't align with Bridgewater's strengths as a passer, though they may try to force the issue after spending $20 million over two years on Anderson. Not having an offseason to build rapport makes me a bit more concerned, especially knowing we've seen Anderson's effort level best described as "inconsistent" on the field. It's tough to say he'll be a better fantasy option than he was in New York, only now his asking price is much lower. Being taken outside the top 50 wide receivers is a discount worth taking in best-ball leagues, but in redraft, it's tough to say he'll be a consistent contributor. He's the third option, at best.
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
There's no doubt that Christian Kirk has the talent to be a reliable fantasy WR but as of now, he's looking like a WR3 on his own team. With the addition of DeAndre Hopkins and the consistent presence of Larry Fitzgerald, it's hard to imagine Kirk sees a large target share. He's a deep threat so he'll have his big games but you won't want to have to rely on him on a weekly basis. After four long years on the Jets, Anderson gets a fresh start in Carolina where he'll catch passes from Teddy Bridgewater. While some may consider Bridgewater an upgrade over Sam Darnold, I don't think he's the best QB for a WR like Anderson. Anderson is known for being a deep threat and Bridgewater has never been known as a QB who goes deep. That could lead to some down weeks but he'll definitely have his big games as well. I'd stash him and use him in favorable, likely high scoring matchups.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Anderson has plenty of talent and has been the victim of erratic quarterback play throughout his career with the Jets. Reuniting with his college coach, Matt Rhule, is a positive development, but it's difficult to see him being start-worthy at any point this season. Between Christian McCaffrey, D.J. Moore, Curtis Samuel, and Ian Thomas, there just aren't going to be enough targets to make Anderson viable, especially given that because he's mostly a deep threat, he's inherently a boom-or-bust play. Add in that Teddy Bridgewater isn't the type of quarterback who will play recklessly and things just don't look like they'll fall into place for Anderson in 2020.

Kirk's been a fine WR3/FLEX option over the past few seasons, but he appeared to be on the verge of breaking out finally in 2020. However, the addition of Deandre Hopkins quashes that outlook a little bit. Larry Fitzgerald will still be involved in this offense, so Kirk's ceiling is limited. He'll receive his 5 to 6 targets per game, but he's unlikely to be anything more than a WR3 again in 2020.Anderson's struggled the past few seasons in New York, but he's getting a change of scenery with his signing with the Carolina Panthers. Anderson has familiarity with head coach Matt Rhule, which will only help in a truncated offseason. The Panthers are most likely going to be throwing the ball a ton this season and Anderson's going to see plenty of targets heading his way. Anderson's one of my candidates to breakout this season and he's currently being drafted outside the top-50 WRs.

His per game pace of 8.3 targets a game would've tied him for 12th in targets at the position in 2019. Can absolutely be a fantasy value if the offense takes a step forward, he stays healthy, and no one else is brought in..That's a lot of stipulations.. Team was middle of the pack in attempts last year. The team did lead the league in targets to WR in 2019, and didn't address TE in a way that makes me think that's going to change. He should be the numbers 2 target behind Hopkins in an offense that's looking to take a step forward in Redzone efficiency. Not sure why the signing is confusing for some. Did you expect everyone to just run underneath and be completely predictable? Awaiting fantasy judgement until we see what Rhule is about.

Target share will take a dramatic hit, but the quality of usage could skyrocket if Hopkins is drawing huge attention. While the Panthers have a crowded WR corps, Anderson could thrive in a system that prioritizes "SPEED in space"
