Lineups
The Bears were forced to throw the ball much more than they wanted to last season as their defense and run game faltered. Allen Robinson was the primary beneficiary as he had a career-high 154 targets and finished with 98 catches for 1,147 yards and 7 touchdowns. Robinson is an elite talent who has consistently produced despite poor quarterback play for the entirety of his career. If Nick Foles takes over for Mitchell Trubisky this season, it could represent an upgrade for Robinson. Either way, he's likely to be among the league's target leaders again as the Bears' ancillary pass-catching options are underwhelming.Much has been made about the Rams switching to a two-tight end-heavy scheme at the end of last season, a change that resulted in a substantial targets drop for Cooper Kupp. In the five-week span to close the 2019 season, Kupp only saw 6 targets per game as compared to his 16-game pace of 8.3 per game. Kupp is more effective out of the slot and he struggles against press coverage. However, I don't see these factors as enough to knock Kupp out of the top ten. He still had a touchdown in each of those five games to close 2019 and he is one of the biggest threats for double-digit touchdowns as a tremendous red zone threat. Sean McVay is an innovative offensive coach who won't let scheme keep the ball out of his best receiver's hands (all due respect to Robert Woods). Kupp is a value in drafts and is going to turn in another phenomenal season.
Draft Engine
Draft Engine
The No. 1 option in Chicago's passing game, Robinson has led the Bears in targets in each of his two seasons with the team. While it would be foolish to expect Robinson to come close to duplicating the 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns he posted in 2015, he did join Brandon Marshall and Marty Booker as the third Bears wideout ever to reach 98 receptions in a season. Not only did Kupp return for Week 1 after having undergone surgery to repair a torn ACL he suffered in November 2018, his torrid start to 2019 had him entering the Rams' Week 9 bye on pace to end the season with 116 catches for 1,584 yards. The fact that he then failed to surpass six catches or 65 yards in any of the seven games after L.A.'s bye is cause for fantasy concern.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Allen Robinson turned back the clock in 2019, parlaying his first healthy season in three years into a WR11 finish. The most impressive aspect of his effort was the volume he received, with 18 more receptions than his breakout 1400 year sophomore season. While the emergence of Anthony Miller may threaten that volume, the release of Taylor Gabriel should mean A-Rob is locked into 150-odd targets. Given the possible positive efficiency regression if this offense takes a must needed step forward, Robinson is a real chance for a massive season. He's great value in the early 3rd round but can be taken even later than that.Cooper Kupp finished as the WR3 in non-PPR but remains a TD-dependant option who was really hurt by Tyler Higbee's emergence at the end of 2019. His volume looks like it will drop a little in 2020 but with Todd Gurley gone the underneath targets should still remain plus he gets so many red zone looks you'd expect his TD numbers to remain high. Regression will occur across the board, the only question is how much.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
We saw a 150-plus target season for Robinson in 2019, which was a rarity among wide receivers. Based on where his targets took place, he had the fourth-most expected fantasy points among wide receivers last year. There's little reason to expect that to change, as the Bears lost Taylor Gabriel and replaced him with an older, slower version in Ted Ginn. There were just two games last season where Robinson finished with fewer than seven targets, making him an easy every-week start. In fact, he posted WR2 or better numbers in 62.5 percent of his games, which ranked fifth behind only Michael Thomas, DeAndre Hopkins, Julio Jones, and Davante Adams. The fact that the Bears snagged Nick Foles only helps the Bears receivers, as they have twice the chance at competent quarterback play. Robinson should be considered a high-floor, low-end WR1, as it's unlikely he comes with the ceiling of those with better quarterback play.It was a tale of two seasons for Kupp last year, as he was the No. 2 receiver in fantasy football through eight games, tallying 58 receptions for 792 yards and five touchdowns. He then fell off hard, finishing as the No. 31 receiver over the final eight games, totaling just 36 receptions for 369 yards and five touchdowns. The Rams started moving towards more 12 personnel, which includes two tight ends, which in turn leaves just two wide receivers on the field. Knowing Kupp is a slot receiver by nature, it affects him greatly. He actually played just 61 percent of the team's snaps in Weeks 16 and 17. But I'd argue that Jared Goff needs him on the field. While targeting Kupp, Goff posted a 117.0 QB Rating. While targeting everyone else, that number is just 78.6. Sean McVay is consistently evolving as a play caller, which bodes well for Kupp, as he'll likely be expanded to different roles moving forward. There are question marks, that much we know. However, we have still yet to see a "bad" season from Kupp in the NFL. I don't consider him as safe as his teammate Robert Woods, but Kupp should still be considered a low-end WR2 who has more touchdown upside. I mean, he's scored 21 receiving touchdowns in 39 career games. Woods has 25 receiving touchdowns in 100 career games.
Frank Bonincontri
Fantasy Wire HQ
He got it done with Trubs last season, but with Nick Foles running an RPO offense, I like Arob even more. The departure of Todd Gurley and Brandin Cooks elevates Kupp & Woods but is the WR3 Reynolds of Jefferson? Cooper Kupp is a moveable matchup piece in McVay's offense and I cant wait to see what he has designed for him this season
Rob Wilson
The Fantasy Footballers
Foles is the best QB he's ever had. Robinson should be a steady back end WR1 again in 2020Kupp lit the world on fire last season then slowed down. McVay rediscovered his 12 personell packages late in the season and Tyler Higbee should open up some coverage for Kupp. His ceiling will likely dip, but he's a bonafide WR2 pick with WR1 potential
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
Even while catching balls from Mitch Trubisky, Allen Robinson was a legitimate stud in 2019 catching 98 passes for 1,147 yards and seven TDs. Now, he may get an upgrade at QB with Nick Foles in Chicago. Similarly to many players, COVID will impact his ability to work with his new QB but once they get on the same page, we could see a more dangerous Robinson than ever. When healthy, Kupp is one of the safest players in all of fantasy football. He's targeted in the short game, deep shots, and most importantly, in the red zone. Last year he finished with 10 TDs and that was with Brandin Cooks still on the roster. Now, Cooks is in Houston and Kupp has a real shot at finishing as a top-10 WR.

Was the lipstick on Bears' piggish offense in 2019 with Top 10 WR finish in FAN PTS - sounds crazy, but Foles arguably best passing QB he's ever been paired with7th among WRs in FAN PPG over past 2 seasons (min. 24 games) - led NFL in slot yards, and I'm just not buying that goes away significantly so LAR can run 12 personnel

Robinson was the lone bright spot in the passing game, finishing 2019 with 1149 yards from scrimmage and 7 touchdowns. I think whether Nick Foles or Mitchell Trubisky is the starter, he is a WR2 capped by a dicey QB situation.Kupp had 1,165 yards receiving and 10 receiving touchdowns in 2019. He is a very talented wide, but he is a little on the volatile side playing with QB Jared Goff.

There are very few players that we can claim who could finish as the No. 1 overall fantasy WR this season. Robinson is one of those players with his skillset and the offense that he's in. If Nick Foles is the starting QB, this offense is going to be able to move the ball more effectively than they did last season, which means even more scoring opportunities and targets for the receiving options. Anthony Miller is Robinson's only real threat for targets in this offense and Robinson was incredibly productive last season with Mitchell Trubisky throwing him the ball. Robinson saw 154 targets and 98 receptions in 2019 and there's a possibility we see that number go up this year. Don't miss out on drafting Robinson, especially when you factor in his ADP right now.Kupp was insanely productive through the first half of 2019, but he wasn't putting up anywhere close to the same type of numbers through the back half of last year. From Weeks 1-8, Kupp was the WR2 in all of fantasy football. However, from Weeks 9-17, Kupp was the WR31. His snaps decreased as the offense changed and he simply wasn't as productive. All indications are that the Rams offense is going to be the same as it was at the end of last year, which means Kupp is being insanely over-drafted this year. He'll have his big games here or there, but you may end up being disappointed that you drafted Kupp in 2020 at his current draft spot.

Never had fewer than 5 targets in any game. Super consistent despite the QB play.Weeks 1-8: 87 targets, 10.8 targets/gm Weeks 10-17: 47 targets, 5.8 targets/gm How worried are we that the TE just replaced him?
