FantasyPros
Henry carries some risk in 2019, because the bulk of his production came in Week 13-17, when he had 97 rushing attempts for 625 yards, 6.44 yards per carry and 7 TDs. I would value him as a RB2 until he shows he can be a bell cow back for an entire season.Williams had a nice close to the season and he should have a big role in their offense in 2019. Williams is a solid RB2, but he is in a crowded backfield with RB LeSean McCoy and RB Darwin Thompson competing for touches.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Are the Titans ready to promote Henry to a workhorse role? That's doubtful considering Dion Lewis is still on the roster and they're not paying him close to $5 million this year to sit on the bench and be a cheerleader. Henry deserves more touches, that much is certain, but what happens when the Titans fall behind in a game? Lewis is far-and-away the better pass-catcher, which means Henry will be gamescript-dependent. If you believe the Titans are contenders and will finish with a winning record, that's a vote of confidence for Henry, though it's hard to say that with any confidence. He's the ultimate boom-or-bust running back, which is why he's best-suited as an RB2It's never a bad thing to have the running back attached to Andy Reid's offense, though Williams shouldn't go inside the top few rounds due to his question marks. He's still yet to have more than 13 carries in a regular season game, so what makes us believe he's going to stand up to a full workload? The Chiefs just snagged LeSean McCoy when he was released by the Bills, making the situation even more sticky. Not to mention the performance by Darwin Thompson in the preseason. It's possible that Andy Reid moves to somewhat of a timeshare, though Williams should be the starter out of the gate.

Breaking Football
Henry figures to have a big role, but a lack of versatility has me a little gun shy.The committee talk has me scared of Damien, largely because his price is so steep. I still like him, but the price needs to be right. Also, get your Darwin Thompson shares no matter what you do with DW.
Nick Zylak
Fantasy Football Advice
Derrick Henry is one of the most polarizing players in fantasy football. Unfortunately, I don't have a strong take for or against Henry. I believe that the end of last season was likely the best run of his career, but that he's capable of matching that performance for stretches going forward. He finished last season with a disgusting 87/585/7 stat line over the final FOUR WEEKS! That was 6.72 yards per carry across 87 carries!. Now, most of that was from the crazy Jaguars game. In fact, he went over 95 rushing yards just twice last season, and was under 60 rushing yards in every game from weeks 1-12. I'll even do you one further. Henry has under 95 rushing yards in 91% of his career regular season games, and less than 3 targets in that same percentage. It's not all bad for Henry though. He was PFF's third rated RB last season, ranked second in yards per carry after contact, 3rd in elusiveness rating, and 3rd in percent of carries that gained positive yardage. Henry is a good RB, and it's shocking that he's never been given the opportunity to be the bell cow. Henry has more than 19 carries in just 6% of his career regular season games. I expect that to increase this season. The Titans should improve as an offense with the addition of A.J. Brown, and the return of Delanie Walker. The receptions won't be there, so he's going to be volatile, but Henry has massive weekly upside in any format...and I wouldn't be shocked if he posts a 1,300/13 stat line this season.Damien Williams has as much upside as any running back in fantasy. Remember what a Chiefs RB is capable of. Hunt finished as the RB 11 in half PPR scoring last season...in just 11 games! Hunt is a good RB, but Williams is essentially a bigger, faster, and more athletic version of Hunt. He also showed last season that he can produce in this offense. Williams had 5 starts last season after Hunt was released and Ware was injured. He averaged 114 yards and 2.2 TD's in those 5 starts. That stat line would have been the #1 fantasy RB over a full season. Now, obviously those TD numbers will come down...but he's still going to be elite. Andy Reid has produced a RB 1 for fantasy in 12 of his 20 seasons as head coach. So when you tell me I'm also getting a discount on an Andy Reid RB. Then I'm all in.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Henry did almost nothing for the vast majority of last season, and was dropped in plenty of leagues. But he went ballistic over the last four games, carrying owners to championships and likely earning himself a bigger role in 2019. He's dealt with leg issues all preseason, and Dion Lewis should remain a part of the offense. Plus, Henry does nothing in the passing game, making him somewhat of a liability in PPR leagues. But he's still an RB2 in standard leagues, as his end-of-year dominance shows just how much upside he has.Williams was borderline dominant once he took over the starting running back role for the Chiefs in December, and his pass-catching abilities gave him what appeared to be an enormously high floor heading into this season even with only a small sample on which to rely. But an early hamstring injury brought out rumblings of a committee approach with Carlos Hyde, Darrel Williams, and Darwin Thompson, and there are conflicting reports as to Williams' workload. Because of his upside, Williams still makes an RB2, and a strong one at that. But drafting him is not without risk, so fantasy owners should make sure they have depth at the running back position if they take Williams with an early pick.
Kevin Wheeler

Derrick Henry combined to total 78.0 fantasy points across just two games last season (Weeks 14-15). Those two games made up a whopping 38% of his total fantasy points for the year. Outside of those two games, he averaged just 8.9 fantasy points per game. This was the difference between him finishing 22nd and 45th at the position in fantasy points per game. @ScottBarrettDFBI'm assuming Williams isn't the starter over the entire season. Williams had a nice 4-game run to end the season, but was under 13 touches in two of them, he won't be the only fantasy producer in this backfield.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Henry is back on the field after his strained calf, but it may be something that returns with the grind of an NFL game. After the way he performed to close out the season, there is no doubting that Tennessee will actually use Henry as the primary back all season, however. He might lead the league in rushing yards, as he can be a workhorse, but without much help on offense, the touchdowns probably won't accompany the yards, nor will any receiving production, limiting his fantasy ceiling substantially.Williams entered 2018 with virtually no production to his name but exploded when given the opportunity in Andy Reid's offense. So long as he can get healthy and earn his spot as the starter, he will be a top 20 running back with room for much more. That upside will depend entirely on his large of a role he can handle, as the offense is certain to score plenty of points. There is reason, however, to be worried about Darwin Thompson.

Epic run in final 4 games of '18 (146.3 rush YPG, 7 rush TDs) has some dreaming of things to come - but let's not let 4 games wipe away 42 other games that show he's a wiggle-less power runner with no pass game upsideFit the bill nicely in KC backfield after K. Hunt suspension/release - No. 2 RB in half-PPR FAN PPG over final 3 weeks - HC Reid's comments of RB committee ring hollow given that has never been his style

As long as Henry is being handed the ball 20+ times a game, he will be well worth his ADP. That's no guarantee, but all signs point to Tennessee being a ground and pound team this year. Game script could be Henry's downfall if the Titans trail early and often, bringing pass catching back, Dion Lewis into the game. The #1 RB in an Andy Reid offense is a fantasy stud. It's science. So get the RB that is going to lead this backfield. Oh yeah, Reid also never employs an RBBC, so don't believe that either.

Damien Williams was a starter in 5 games last season. In those five games he saw at least 10 rushing attempts and at least 6 targets in every game but one. Furthermore, he scored a TD in every one of those games and actually scored 8 in total. Williams was extended by the Chiefs this offseason and only has Carlos Hyde (The worst receiving back in the NFL over the past few seasons - oh and his rushing numbers aren't very good either) and 5'8" 201lb 6th rounder Darwin Thompson. Damien Williams is not going to lose his job if healthy. Andy Reid also mentioned that he'd use an RBBC "like in Philly." If you look at Andy Reid's RBs over the last FIFTEEN seasons, he has used a RBBC one time. That was in 2009, when the Eagles were transitioning from Westbrook to McCoy. Other than that, Reid has sprinkled RBs like Ware and West in at times but that's about it. I expect this "RBBC" to be more of the same - a RBBC of sprinkles. Grab Williams at a value.
