If you're looking to secure one of the top-tier TEs, Waller's obviously one of the safest choices you can make this season. With his guaranteed workload, plus his chemistry with Carr, it's hard to see how Waller finishes outside of the top-3 at the position outside of an injury.Kittle hasn't exactly been the complete model of health the past two seasons, but he's still one of the most dominant players at the position when he's on the field. While he has to clean up an issue with drops - he had 8 in 2020 on only 63 targets - he's still worth selecting as a top-3 TE off the board. You're simply not going to find many other players at the position who have the opportunity in their respective offenses that Kittle does in San Francisco.

Fresh off a 2019 breakout campaign, Waller only improved in 2020, dominating targets in a receiving corps with little competition. Waller is now the focal point of Las Vegas' aerial attack, and his ability to win right off the line pairs well with Derek Carr's risk-averse style of play. Fantasy football is a volume-driven game, and few other players, let alone tight ends, can match the market share he possesses on his own team's target distribution.Kittle's elite run-blocking abilities might make him the TE1 for "real" football purposes, but those same traits also limit his fantasy upside. Playing in a run-first offense against one of the league's softest schedules, shootouts might be few and far between for the 49ers. The anticipated addition of a dual-threat rookie QB at some point this year further caps Kittle's upside. Still, his breathtaking talent keeps him in the conversation for top-three at his position.

Waller the Baller is in the first tier of tight ends. He's a matchup nightmare with his size and speed. Raiders WR Henry Ruggs helps provide space for Waller to operate underneath with his elite speed. The concerns involve the Raiders offensive line which took some hits in the offseason. Carr isn't mobile at all and that could derail some promising drives. The good news is the game script should lead to him getting a lot of catches with the Raiders trailing in the 4th Qtr.The main concern with Kittle is Trey Lance. If he takes over QB you have to figure he'll struggle, at least a little. He only has one year of experience playing college football at a Division 2 school. That said, Kittle is an elite player at a barren position.

Waller burst onto the scene in 2019 with a 90/1,145/3 receiving line that was good for a TE4 finish. He quickly erased any doubt that this was a fluke performance by erupting for 107/1,196/9 in 2020. He finished as the TE2, led all TEs in receptions, and found the end zone on a more consistent basis. Could we see Henry Ruggs or Bryan Edwards step up this season? Sure, we could. Las Vegas brought in no significant pass-catchers in the offseason other than John Brown, and they let Nelson Agholor walk. Waller should absolutely dominate targets this season, and there's a legitimate argument for him as the overall TE1. He's the only guy in the same stratosphere as Travis Kelce right now.Kittle has missed 10 games over the last two seasons, but make no mistake about it - he's one of the highest-upside TEs in the game. From 2018-19, GK averaged better than 86 receptions, 1,200 yards, and 5 touchdowns. He's only scored 14 times in 53 career games, which is the only real downside to his game. He's worth a top-4 pick at the TE position.

One of just 5 TEs in NFL history with 2 seasons of 90+ catches - assuming preseason ankle issue truly is minor, no reason to expect anything less than another 90+ catchesHe's been the NFC's (more injury-prone) version of T. Kelce - there's also the weird lack of TD production. But a full season of Kittle is difference-making stuff at the TE position

I remember getting Waller in the fifth or sixth round last year, and though it never felt amazing while doing it, the end result worked out. Why didn't it feel amazing? He's part of the Raiders offense, that lacks potency. The targets were what we were chasing, and the targets are what we got. But when you're paying TE2 prices in the second round, you not only need the targets, you need touchdowns. While Waller scored nine of them last year, he scored just three of them in 2019 in the same offense. There's a reason people pay up for Travis Kelce, and while I like Waller, I just don't have that guaranteed Kelce-like production.Since Kittle came into the NFL, he's produced TE1-type numbers in 58.5 percent of his games, which ranks third among all tight ends since 2000, ahead of guys like Tony Gonzalez and Jimmy Graham. He's in the prime of his career and now gets an upgrade at quarterback? He hasn't scored many touchdowns (never more than five), which has kept him out of the Travis Kelce territory. If he gets a bump in touchdowns with Trey Lance, we could see a Kelce-like finish in 2021 for Kittle. Health has proven to be an obstacle, but you shouldn't bet against Kittle finishing as a top-two tight end.

Well, turns out 2019 was no fluke season for Darren Waller. After breaking out in 2019, Waller improved his game and finished the 2020 season leading all tight ends in receptions. He also finished second in yards and TDs for tight ends. Behind Kelce, there isn't a tight end I'd rather have on my team than Waller.Kittle struggled through an injury-riddled 2020 season playing in only eight games. That being said, he is still George Kittle and while healthy, is consistently dominant. As long as he enters the season at 100%, I'd be comfortable drafting him in the mid to late third round.

Waller firmly established himself as one of the elite tight ends last season, leading the position in receptions with 107 and targets with 145, tied with Travis Kelce. He also led all tight ends with 27 red zone targets and 21 red zone receptions, and had an outstanding 2.28 yards per route run. To the extent you had any doubts about his fantasy stock after 2019, those doubts are long gone now. Draft him as a top-3 tight end with absolutely zero hesitation.Kittle was limited to just 8 games last season due to injury, but he was, as usual, an absolute beast on the field. He led all tight ends in yards per route run at 2.84 and was among the leaders at the position in yards per reception at 6.2. Whether it's Jimmy Garoppolo or Trey Lance throwing him the ball, there's little doubt that Kittle is going to finish as one of the top fantasy tight ends so long as he's healthy, and he's likely the only one who can realistically knock Travis Kelce off the number one spot.

Waller had a monster season with 225.1 fantasy points. He is not quite as good as Kelce, but he is still a fantastic fantasy tight end and he should have a monster year again in 2021.Kittle averaged 12.6 fantasy points per game, which was third most in the NFL. Unfortunately, he missed eight games with injuries. He should be back to being an elite fantasy tight end in 2021.

Kittle has averaged at least 2.82 yards per route run in each of the last three seasons, which is a number Travis Kelce has never hit (career-high was 2.49 in 2020). - @MikeTagliereNFL. All I'm concerned with is his target share could diminish if everyone stays healthy, and if there's a QB change.

In a world where Kelce doesn't exist, Waller is the answer for best fantasy TE. Waller, who finished 2nd in scoring for TEs, recorded 61.1 more fantasy points (202.9) than the TE3 overall, Robert Tonyan (141.8). To put that into perspective, that is the same gap of points between Tonyan and the TE21 overall, Irv Smith Jr. The Raiders did not add any offense weapons of note outside of a 31-year old John Brown, and they lost their leading WR Nelson Agholor. Even if Henry Ruggs and Bryan Edwards take leaps as second-year players, there is no reason to think the Waller won't remain the No. 1 target for the Raiders. The only question about George Kittle is injuries. If he is healthy, he is elite. Even in an injury-hampered season that saw him play just 8 games, he averaged over 12 half-PPR PPG and 13.2 YPR, obviously elite numbers. If he can stay healthy, he will be elite.
