Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
Andrews was drafted in the 12th round last season and he ended up finishing as the TE4. While Andrews' price tag has risen considerably this offseason, he may still be worth the draft choice due to how involved he is in this offense. Hurst has been traded away, which leaves very little competition for targets behind him. There's no reason to expect regression for Andrews this season from a targets perspective, although it might be difficult for him to reach 10 receiving touchdowns again. With that being said, Andrews is a fantastic pick as a top-5 TE in redraft leagues this year.Waller was one of last year's breakout stars and he helped propel several rosters to fantasy football championships. Now, his price tag has certainly gone up and you're betting on that production repeating this season. Waller certainly has more competition for targets so he could see his total from last year drop down, but he absolutely could make up for it with an increase in touchdown production. Waller's a fine selection in the mid-rounds, but he may not possess as high of a ceiling as he did last year.
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
No. 3 TE in FAN PPG in 2019, and leader at position in end zone targets (12), has seen his ceiling raised by H. Hurst, and his 39 targets, shuffling off to ATL
Kevin Wheeler
Draftwize
He had a special season last year that was replicated by only 4 TEs in the last 20 years.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Did you know that Andrews has still yet to have a game in the NFL where he's seen double-digit targets? Crazy, right? He did have 10 games with 7-8 targets in 2019, so he's inching closer, though the Ravens are still going to be a run-first team. Because of that, you're going to get some duds from the talented tight end. There were six games in 2019 where he posted single-digit PPR points, which is not great when he'll cost you a top-50 pick in drafts. We know Lamar Jackson's touchdown rate will drop, which means we'll need more targets for Andrews to live up to this draft spot. Losing Hayden Hurst as competition surely helps. There was just one tight end in all of football who finished all 16 games with at least 7.0 PPR points. It was Waller. Not only that, but he also offered a ceiling, hitting 16-plus points on five separate occasions. The issue with relying on that again is the new competition for targets. As much as we don't want to consider Jason Witten a threat, he's going to steal some targets. Not just him, but Henry Ruggs, Lynn Bowden, and Bryan Edwards are all guys who'll demand some sort of target share. I still view Waller as a top-five tight end, though he's teetering there.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Andrews was remarkably efficient last season as he managed to finish #4 among all tight ends despite playing less than 50% of Baltimore's snaps. Now that Hayden Hurst is gone Atlanta, the sky is the limit for Andrews. With that said, you'd have to expect his touchdown rate to come crashing back to reality too.Waller was extremely consistent last year and managed to finish #4 among fantasy tight ends but he was virtually the only receiving threat on the entire team. Now that they grabbed three quality wideouts in the draft, his target share should take a big of a step back. Even so, he is one of the few reliable tight ends.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Andrews was a huge part of this offense with 852 yards receiving and 10 receiving touchdowns. He should continue to be a big part of their red zone offense in 2020 playing with reigning MVP, QB Lamar Jackson.Waller had 1,150 yards from scrimmage and 3 touchdowns, he established himself as the top playmaker in the Raiders passing game and he should have another big season in 2020.
Seth Miller
Crossroads Fantasy Football
Slightly worried about his involvement when additional weapons arrive but that's a future worry. Took advantage of his opportunities in 2019.
