Lineups
Packers' fans likely weren't thrilled about their team's lack of any meaningful additions in the passing game, but it means Davante Adams is in for another year of massive utilization. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Allen Lazard, Marcedes Lewis - these are fine players but nobody who's going to be stealing work from Adams. If he plays all 16 games, there's no way he gets fewer than 150 targets.I hate my ranking of Julio Jones at #5, but it has more to do with how much I like the players ahead of him rather than any knock on Jones. Last year was Julio's first without at least 1,400 yards since 2013. In every seasons where he played 16 games, and even a couple where he didn't, he's finished with 1,200+ yards. Julio is arguably the most consistent and reliable player in fantasy football, especially since the Falcons attempted the most passes in the NFL last year. The only issue for Julio has been inconsistencies in the touchdown department, something that doesn't appear likely to change at this point. Still, you can't go wrong with Julio in the first round.

Has been a WR2 or better in 73% of his games since 2017 @TheFFRealistMatt Ryan has supported 2 Top 24 PPR WRs four times in his career. Amongst active QBs, only Aaron Rodgers has more seasons of supporting 2 Top 24 WRs. @ClutchFantasy

Expect Adams to continue to line up all over the formation in head coach Matt LaFleur's offense. The slot was the key position in Green Bay's passing game in 2019, and Adams will likely end up once again getting the bulk of his reps there. After having started his NFL career with a pair of underwhelming seasons, he has established himself as one of the NFL's top receivers.Jones disappointed fantasy owners who spent a first-round pick on him in fantasy drafts in '17, when he scored only three touchdowns. After rewarding owners that selected him in 2018 with eight touchdowns to go along with a league leading 1,676 receiving yards, his numbers slumped in 2019 before he delivered 23 catches for 300 yards and a pair of scores over Weeks 15 and 16.
Dalton Kates
APEX Fantasy Leagues
Legit chance to lead the league in targets. Top TD threat makes up for lack of yards. Potential career year incoming at his peak age.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Davante Adams was the WR1 for a lot of people last year and very little has changed. Adams was excellent when he was healthy, he still has Aaron Rodgers and absolutely no competition for targets so there's no reason he can't compete for the WR1 title again. The main reason for caution is the desire of Matt LaFleur to run more, but the Packers will still need to throw a heap and Adams has a sensationally high floor. Lock him in as a mid-round 1 pick with huge upside.WR6, WR2, WR6, WR4, WR5, WR3. Has anyone been more reliable in fantasy over the last six years? Julio Jones continues to churn out the numbers in this high powered Falcons offence. That's despite consistently low TD numbers and serious target competition in Calvin Ridley and Austin Hooper. While Ridley will undoubtedly continue to grow in this offense, Julio remains the superior player and with Hooper gone there's certainly room for both. Jones is often available early in the second round and that's spectacular value for a guy who's so reliable.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
I'm convinced that because Adams missed part of the 2019 season, many don't realize just how consistent he's been over the last few years. He's played 27 games over the last two years, and he's scored 16-plus PPR points in 23 of them. The Packers didn't add a wide receiver in the draft, so it's not likely his massive target-share is going away. He's the only other receiver who should be considered close to Michael Thomas in drafts.Fade aging wide receivers, they said. Julio laughs as he posted his sixth straight season with more than 1,390 yards. He still has just one season under his belt with double-digit touchdowns, which is quite ridiculous when you consider he's had three seasons with 1,500-plus yards. He's as safe as they come at the wide receiver position. Think 31 years old is too old? Check out this piece on what age a wide receiver declines. There are a lot of fantasy owners drafting Tyreek Hill over him, and while I understand the upside Hill presents on a weekly basis, Jones presents stability that Hill can only dream of. Hill has posted WR2 or better numbers in 21-of-43 games (48.8 percent) over his career. Meanwhile, Jones has hit that mark in 64.8 percent of his career games and has posted WR1-type numbers in 42.4 percent of them. Sure, Calvin Ridley is going to ascend, but a lot of his ascension comes from the missing targets from Mohamed Sanu. Jones should be the No. 3 wide receiver off draft boards, at worst.
Frank Bonincontri
Fantasy Wire HQ
Misses 4 games last season and still a monster year for him. Lock Adams in again for 2020 and with a more balanced offense, he could really dial up some big playsBig play ability, consistency and the departure of Austin Hooper means more targets for Jones & Ridley
Rob Wilson
The Fantasy Footballers
The lone man in the Packers passing attack. You'd be hard pressed to find a more reliable pick in fantasy footballJulio will Julio, until Julio isn't Julio. TD rate has to increase eventually, yardage total is Jerry Rice worthy every season.
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
When on the field, there isn't a more consistent WR in all of fantasy football than Davante Adams. Over the last two years, Adams played in 27 games, he scored 16+ PPR points in 23 of them. Additionally, the Packers did not add any competition at WR this offseason which should only mean more targtes for Adams.Year in and year out Julio Jones proves to be one of the most incredible football players (not just WRs) in the NFL. His reception and yardage numbers are up there with the leagues best but unfortunately, he's always had a difficult time finding the end-zone. Only once in his nine-year career has he eclipsed 10 receiving TDs. His low TD numbers are the only reason he isn't an automatic top-3 WR.

Could also push for NFL target lead - turf toe led to 4 DNPs, 1st sub-10 TD effort (5) since 2015, but 2020 Alpha status cemented with 4 TDs, 122 YPG in final 5 games (inc. playoffs)With all the vacated targets from last season's ATL offense, NOLA's M. Thomas might be the only WR in 2020 to hold a candle to Jones' target volume

The age defying machine. Draft with confidence, especially if you can pair him with a first round RB.

I grant that I'm nitpicking numbers here but. at the end of the day, Davante Adams has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards just one time in his career. While he's uber consistent on the field, he has trouble staying on it. You know what you're getting with Adams, but history says he won't get to his ceiling.Julio Jones had 1394 receiving yards last season, second in the league only to Michael Thomas, and that was his LOWEST yardage output since his rookie season in 2013. You can't find a more consistent player year-over-year and at 31 years old, he certainly still has enough left in him to stay at this level for another year.

The only reason Adams slipped in fantasy was four missed games with turf toes that derailed his fantasy season. He is still an elite fantasy option and he should rebound at 28-years old in 2020.Jones is the model of consistency, his season has ended with him ranked 8th, 2nd, 6th, 6th, 5th, and 5th the last six seasons. He does turn 31-years old this off-season, but there is no reason to think he can't be an elite WR1 with QB Matt Ryan at the helm in 2020.

Adams may lead the league in targets when this season is all said and done. There are very few other imposing weapons on Green Bay and Rodgers trust Adams. He's a lock for 160-plus targets if he can stay healthy and 10 touchdowns isn't out of the realm of possibilities. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Adams finished the season as the No. 1 fantasy WR.It's hard to find someone who's been as outstanding as Julio Jones over the past few years. Jones has finished as the WR5 or higher each of the past three seasons and he seems like a lock to repeat that type of performance again in 2020. This offense is going to air it out and Jones has yet to show any sign that he's losing a step at this point of his career. Feel confident in drafting Jones again as a top-5 option in 2020.

A monster. 6 year average of 162 targets, 103/1565/6. Now, if I were to find some chips in the Julio armor, his yards per reception were his lowest in a full season since 2015. His yards per target were a career low. This might be the beginning of the end, but I think he gives us a few more good years before that time, he's such a freak, and if I were to bet, he won't age like your standard big WR.
