Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
As of right now, Hurns is the No. 1 receiver for the Cowboys, though you shouldn't expect him to carry that role for very long with Michael Gallup in the picture. Still, there's value for a wide receiver who will see anywhere from 5-8 targets from Dak Prescott. Hurns did produce quite a few fantasy relevant weeks with Blake Bortles, so it's possible he turns out to be better than most expect. When you watch as much football as I do, you see some things that some people may have missed. When it comes to Jackson, he and Jameis Winston were just a touch off on connecting for multiple 40-plus yard touchdowns, which would have dramatically changed how fantasy players valued him this offseason. There were four passes that I can recall right now that were within a yard or two of his hands that might turn into long touchdowns this year. Even in what was a "down year" for him, he produced WR3 numbers 50 percent of the time, which ranked 33rd among wide receivers. The lone thing that could get in the way of those numbers is Chris Godwin, who is someone who might start opposite Mike Evans in 2WR sets, and that would cripple Jackson's value. You need to pay attention to the depth chart as the preseason rolls along.

QB List
This one's pretty simple: Hurns is a veteran with underwhelming athleticism, crisp routes, and what could be a consistently high target share as a defacto #1 receiver. If that doesn't scream bargain bin WR3 production then idk what does.DJax lives and dies by his QB play. Last I checked, it's either Ryan Fitzpatrick or Famous Jameis Winston, soooooooooo not looking good. Oh, and those injuries too.
Chet Gresham
WalterFootball
The Cowboys have one of the worst receiving groups in the league, without a doubt, but Hurns is easily the best of the bunch right now. Michael Gallup could end up as the No. 1 target this season, although Hurns should be the favorite.Jackson has a good chance to improve on his 2017 numbers, but he will likely be inconsistent, especially with Chris Godwin taking on a bigger role this year.
Andrew Gould
FantasyPros
The case for Hurns is simple: Who else is going to catch passes in Dallas? Although limited to 74 receptions over 21 games in the past two seasons, the 26-year-old joins a passing offense that bid farewell to Dez Bryant and Jason Witten. Then again, wasn't he supposed to be Jacksonville's top option when Allen Robinson went down for the season? He averaged a tame 48.4 YPG and did not garner a red-zone target after Week 4. Cole Beasley, Terrance Williams, and/or Michael Gallup could also answer the opening question, so treat Hurns as no more than bench depth with a solid target stream. Jackson mustered a career-low 47.7 YPG in Tampa Bay after ending his Washington tenure with his fifth career 1,000-yard season. He also tallied two of his three TDs and his only two games with double-digit targets playing alongside Ryan Fitzpatrick, so Jameis Winston's three-game suspension could actually boost the 31-year-old wideout's stock. Since Chris Godwin could threaten his role, Jackson is no more than a bench-depth matchup play better catered to Best Ball contests.
Kevin Wheeler
NFL Mock
He's been hampered by injuries over the past couple of years, but when he has stayed health and gotten the targets he has been successful. His best season was in 2015, he had 105 Targets for 64 Receptions at 1031 Yards for 10 TDs, that's 16.11 Yards Per Reception and a 61% Catch Rate coming from Blake Bortles. He finished as the WR14 in Standard Scoring and WR18 in PPR.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
The word is that Hurns is the Cowboys' clear-cut number one receiver as of now. He has produced before in an expanded role so it isn't crazy to see him performing as a flex play from week to week now that Dak is his QB.Each and every season Jackson is healthy, he has been flex-worthy at the very least, but that may change this year. It isn't just that he is getting older, but that the Bucs have so many weapons in the passing game for him to share the load with.

The Boys finally have a half way competent #2Jameis and Desean have made it a point to work on their chemistry this offseason; boom or bust weekly option with WR3 upside for the season
