Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
It was a knee injury that looked like it could be a career-ender, but Meredith latched on with the Saints this offseason and will now be catching passes from Drew Brees. Shortly after snagging him, the Saints cut ties with Willie Snead, opening up the slot role that Meredith played so well while with the Bears. Meredith's sample size is relatively small, but when you rack up 888 yards and four touchdowns from Brian Hoyer and Matt Barkley, there's plenty of optimism. The issue is that Michael Thomas, Alvin Kamara, Ted Ginn, and maybe even Ben Watson are ahead of him in the pecking order. He's likely to have some big weeks, but I wouldn't expect a weekly contributor. When you watch as much football as I do, you see some things that some people may have missed. When it comes to Jackson, he and Jameis Winston were just a touch off on connecting for multiple 40-plus yard touchdowns, which would have dramatically changed how fantasy players valued him this offseason. There were four passes that I can recall right now that were within a yard or two of his hands that might turn into long touchdowns this year. Even in what was a "down year" for him, he produced WR3 numbers 50 percent of the time, which ranked 33rd among wide receivers. The lone thing that could get in the way of those numbers is Chris Godwin, who is someone who might start opposite Mike Evans in 2WR sets, and that would cripple Jackson's value. You need to pay attention to the depth chart as the preseason rolls along.

QB List
"I bet you forgot about me huh?", Meredith remarks snidely with arms crossed and head tilted. Signing with the Saints in the offseason following a season ending ACL tear, Meredith figures to be the primary slot receiver for a perennially potent Saints offense. Assuming he recovers fully, which all by all accounts he should, and rookie Tre'Quan Smith doesn't suddenly shift from a downfield receiver to a slot receiver, Meredith should be in store for steady receptions and yards, possibly as a solid WR3. I like his upside at WR53.DJax lives and dies by his QB play. Last I checked, it's either Ryan Fitzpatrick or Famous Jameis Winston, soooooooooo not looking good. Oh, and those injuries too.
Chet Gresham
WalterFootball
Meredith looks like he'll be ready to go for training camp, and as long as that pans out, I think he could push for targets, which with Drew Brees is a good thing.Jackson has a good chance to improve on his 2017 numbers, but he will likely be inconsistent, especially with Chris Godwin taking on a bigger role this year.
Andrew Gould
FantasyPros
Recovering from an ACL and partial MCL tear that cost him all of 2017, Meredith hopes to be ready to open the season. Now that he left the Bears to join Drew Brees in the Big Easy, drafters can't forget about someone who averaged 63.4 YPG in 2016. He's pegged to supplant Ted Ginn Jr. as the second WR on an elite offense, so early drafters should bet on a healthy return if he falls to the late rounds. Those drafting closer to September will have a better read on his outlook.Jackson mustered a career-low 47.7 YPG in Tampa Bay after ending his Washington tenure with his fifth career 1,000-yard season. He also tallied two of his three TDs and his only two games with double-digit targets playing alongside Ryan Fitzpatrick, so Jameis Winston's three-game suspension could actually boost the 31-year-old wideout's stock. Since Chris Godwin could threaten his role, Jackson is no more than a bench-depth matchup play better catered to Best Ball contests.
Kevin Wheeler
NFL Mock
"Expect Meredith in old "Colston Role" at slot WR between Michael Thomas & Ted Ginn." @EvanSilva He appears to be healthy,he has avoided the PUP list and is in camp the first day. Baring set-backs he could be the sleeper of the draft right now (7/26).
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Although Meredith is far from a sure thing, the word is that he is recovering well from surgery and should be good to go this season. Now that he is on Drew Brees' team, big things could be in store if he gets a chance at the starting wide receiver two job. Consider him to be a late-end lottery ticket. Each and every season Jackson is healthy, he has been flex-worthy at the very least, but that may change this year. It isn't just that he is getting older, but that the Bucs have so many weapons in the passing game for him to share the load with.
Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League
Meredith should easily pass Ginn in targets if he proves to be healthyJameis and Desean have made it a point to work on their chemistry this offseason; boom or bust weekly option with WR3 upside for the season
