All you have to do is follow the bread crumbs to see that Jonnu Smith is the next big time TE in dynasty. -- @AnOutragedJewEbron has 100 more career catches, 1200 more yards, and 10 more touchdowns than Jarwin, Ian Thomas, and Jonnu Smith *combined* (in 27 fewer games). PIT will almost certainly throw more than TEN, DAL, and CAR. Ebron will likely have more targets than all of them, and is cheapest by a good margin. -- @Pat_Thorman High praise for new TE Eric Ebron from GM Colbert: "There's definitely athleticism, there's red zone production, there's run after the catch. He's really a premier kind of receiving tight end for this league when he's healthy."
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
Ebron is now a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers and will have Big Ben throwing him the ball in 2020. As long as he can stay healthy, Ebron's going to be more fantasy relevant than he was last year. However, that's unlikely to be anything more than a mid-range TE2 that'll be able to be used as a streamer in the right matchup.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Remember when T.J. Hockenson dominated the NFL combine just two years ago? Well, Jonnu is the same size but faster, stronger, quicker and a better leaper. Not only that, but he breaks tackles like he's George Kittle and Bill Belichick, himself, called Jonnu "one of the best tight ends in football." If you are looking for this year's version of Darren Waller, it is difficult to look beyond this supreme athlete moving into a much larger role in one of the NFL's top offenses. You can grab Jonnu late in your drafts and if it doesn't work out, move over to streaming the position.Although it may seem like a distant memory, it wasn't long ago that Ebron was a top-four fantasy tight end. The former top 10 NFL draft pick is still just 27 years old which is prime-age for a fantasy tight end. He will need to stay healthy, of course, but with Big Ben under center, Ebron has a chance to bounceback in a big way this season.

Crossroads Fantasy Football
Steadily increased his production over his first 3 years, while sitting behind Delanie Walker. He might not have performed as well as we'd like with Walker having a limited role in 2019 but it was his first year truly starting. Showed enough flashes and is also another hyper athletic TE to target late, on a team that lacks weapons in the passing game aside from AJ Brown. Targeted on 21% of routes run in 2019. ADP of TE17 in redraft. Walker and his 31 TE targets have left the building. 8th in yards per route run among TEs with a minimum of 40 targets. While not on the same level of production as Kittle, was just above him in % of YAC in 2019, 94th percentile burst score allows him to pull away after the catch 9th in YAC with half as much opportunity to produce it as the most of the guys ahead of him, which means he was 2nd in YAC/REC, only behind Noah Fant, and just ahead of George Kittle 7th in % of targets caught. So he is ready to make the most off potentially limited targets, by catching nearly 80% of them, and then has elite YAC ability when he does get it, on a team with underrated QB play, and The TE room finally all to himself?
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Smith is one of the more intriguing names to be outside of the TE1 range. He is one of the most efficient tight ends in the game, and has a clear road to targets at the position now that Delanie Walker is no longer in his way. The problem is that there aren't all that many targets to go around in Tennessee, and Smith's targets have rarely come around the end zone. If that changes, then he's certainly got a shot at being fantasy-relevant. For now, however, he should be drafted as a TE1 only in 15-team leagues or larger or those that reward bonus points for tight ends.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Many compared Smith to someone like Delanie Walker back when he was drafted in 2017. We saw shades of that and even heard Bill Belichick give him props as one of the top tight ends in the league prior to their playoff matchup. Still, he's going to need more than 3-5 targets per game to get into the TE1 conversation. Despite Walker going down for the year, Smith saw more than five targets just twice all season and finished with 44 on the year. With the offense still projected for less than 500 pass attempts, it'll be difficult for Smith to truly break out. He should be considered a strong streamer in good matchups. Not many realize that there will be another 100-plus targets available in the Steelers offense with Ben Roethlisberger returning, though we don't know how Ebron factors in to that. They still have Vance McDonald under contract and have three wide receivers who are more than capable, which could leave Ebron off the field more than on the field, as he's not someone you want blocking for you. He's best-suited as a streaming option and not someone you rely on every week.
