McCaffrey is looking to repeat as the overall PPR RB1 for the first time since 2002-2003 Priest Holmes. McCaffrey had more yards before contact (635) than all but four ENTIRE TEAMS of running backs in 2019. He averaged a robust 2.21 yards before contact, which is something I'd say is unsustainable. @MikeTagliereNFL xxEzekiel Elliott with a coronavirus update: "I would say I had maybe one or two days when I felt symptoms. Even then, it wasn't too bad. I had a cough and a little bit of shortness of breath. Now, I feel good. I feel normal." @jonmachota Zeke is the definition of consistent for fantasy. Last season he was at least an RB2 EVERY SINGLE WEEK. He was an RB1 in 9 of those weeks, with the other 7 weeks being an RB2. @ZtwiceFF

FantasyPros
While it might sound absurd to say, there's a legitimate path for CMC to finish with more receptions this year than what he had in 2019. The Panthers are entering a rebuild and their defense saw a lot of key pieces leave for various reasons. They're going to be relying heavily on rookies and this may lead to the offense needing to keep them in games with more passing volume. If that's the case, McCaffrey's likely going to be second in line behind DJ Moore. With all that said, CMC's as easy of a pick as they come at the 1.01.Ezekiel Elliott has finished in the top-5 each of the past two seasons and may be one of the safest RBs to draft. As long as he's healthy, he'll see over 300 touches and that's exactly what you want from a top-5 redraft pick. You can draft Zeke with confidence yet again this season.
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
New coach, QB may be cause for minor pause on CMC, but after 2nd-best PPR season by RB in NFL history, it's really hard to argue another player at the top spotSteady as they come, be it week-to-week, season-to-season - slight worry that new HC McCarthy turns T. Pollard into Jamal Williams 2.0, eating into EZE volume
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
You can try to make the argument that McCaffrey shouldn't go No. 1 overall this year, but you'd lose the argument. Outside of saying, "running backs don't repeat as the top option," there's nothing that should suggest McCaffrey won't. He's not just a running back. He's a wide receiver. He scored 182.5 half-PPR points through the air alone, which would've been the No. 20 wide receiver in fantasy last year, ahead of Stefon Diggs. Even if McCaffrey simply stopped playing football in Week 12, he would've finished as the No. 1 running back by a massive 22.1 PPR points. The new offense and improved quarterback play shouldn't hurt at all. There's only one running back over the last five years who's finished top-six three times, and that's Elliott. Oddly enough, he's never finished as No. 1 though. The Cowboys passing offense just got better with the addition of CeeDee Lamb, and while that may put a cap on Elliott's targets in the passing game, he should be free to rock against seven-man fronts. He saw eight-plus defenders in the box 19.3 percent of the time last year, a number that may dip down into the single digits, provided the Cowboys go three-wide more often than not. Stop trying to find "the next big thing," because Elliott has proven time and time again that he's among the safest picks at the top of the draft. He's posted RB2 or better numbers in 92.9 percent of his career games, which is better than any running back I've ever charted. In fact, the closest is Le'Veon Bell, who's hit that mark 87.0 percent of the time.
Seth Miller
Crossroads Fantasy Football
Mike McCarthy's RB usage in the pass game his last 3 years in GB: 2018 - 73 targets(12 games), 2017 - 83 targets, 2016 - 88 targets. That was typically with a 3 headed monster. I would assume Zeke is going to demand the large share of targets. He's averaged 83 over his last 2 seasons so potentially no new value here, unless Kellen Moore does something? Mike could get in trouble if he continues running the ball at the pace he did in GB though. 29th, 27th, and 32nd in the league his last 3 years, not gonna jive with a back that's averaged 292 carries a season since entering the league.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
McCaffrey would be a RB1 if he didn't catch a single pass, he finished 2019 with 1,387 yards rushing and 15 rushing touchdowns. When you add in 116 receptions for 1,005 yards and 4 more touchdowns, you have the overall number one RB.Elliott had 1,777 yards from scrimmage and 14 touchdowns last year. There is always concern that a new coaching staff could change his usage, but given the size of his contract and OC Kellen Moore being retained to call plays, it seems likely he will have similar RB1 value in 2020.
Steven Pintado
The Fantasy Coaches
Pretty simple guys: Best Overall non QB player. Even with a bad QB, he was still able to dominate the fantasy world. As long as his body can stay healthy he should repeat for the year.
