If/when he ends holdout, he's the safest justifiable top choice on the board - 12+ PPR FAN PTS in 37 of 40 career games - no non-QB in past 20 years has more in 1st 40 games of a careerHe's the new, more durable Gronk (just 1 DNP in past 5 seasons) - matchup nightmare, lethal QB connection

Hail to Fantasy Football
The holdouts with Zeke and Melvin continue. As such, I'll continue to move them down as long as they don't report.Moving closer and closer to the end of the first round. I'll definitely consider him there.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Elliott is obviously one of the most dynamic running backs in the league, and he took it to another level last year when he got much more involved in the passing game. Without any issues hanging over his head, he's certainly in the discussion for the top selection in any fantasy draft. But, as always, there are issues with Elliott, this time a contract dispute which has prevented him from attending camp. Despite some cap issues, this situation seems likely to be resolved, as Jerry Jones knows all too well from his days with Emmitt Smith the pain of an elite running back holding out. Until we get closer to the start of the season and there are real rumblings of a holdout, continue to keep Elliott near the top of your draft board. He'll likely come in with a new contract and another top-notch season.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Elliott led the NFL in rushing yards last year and he should be an elite fantasy running back again in 2019. The only issue is that if his holdout spills into the regular season, it could cost him some games and hurt his fantasy value.Kelce had 1,336 yards receiving and 10 receiving touchdowns in 2018. Considering the quality and youth of the Chiefs offense, Kelce should continue to put up monster numbers in 2019.
Michael Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
All about if he returns.Big time advantage at TE if you draft Kelce. I would prefer to draft a RB/WR in the first round, but cannot argue with Kelce in the second.
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
According to True Target Value, a pass Mahomes to Kelce on the road resulted in more expected fantasy points than any other combo in the NFL. There's no reason to think that the young studs are going to slow down this season, especially with Hill still around to stretch the field.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Zeke is the biggest risk in the top four but if he plays, he is the best bet to finish #1. He is a durable workhorse behind one of the best offensive lines in football, plus we can expect mostly positive game scripts. Over his career, Zeke averages 2099 yards from scrimmage and 13 touchdowns per 16 games.Kelce scored the most fantasy points of any tight end in the last five seasons last year. He may shatter that clip this season and approach Gronk's enormous 2017 total of 331 PPR points if Tyreek Hill were to suffer an injury.. Kelce wasn't far off at 295 last year. If he can jump another 40 points, we'd be looking at the WR1 if he qualified for that possession. Kelce is absolutely worth a top 20 pick this year.
Rich Piazza
Fantasy Shed
Elliot is going to continue to slide down my board as we get deeper into August without the star running back in camp. Ultimately, a deal should get done, but until then there is certainly a great deal of risk involved drafting him in the first round.
Nick Zylak
Fantasy Football Advice
The only reason I have Zeke ranked as low as I do is because of holdout concerns. The latest reports indicate that the two parties aren't very close on a deal. I'm still surprised Zeke is holding out. He has two years left on his contract, so he doesn't gain all that much by missing time. Regardless, if he hasn't signed or reported by the time your draft rolls around, I don't see how you can feel good about drafting him. If he does sign, then he'll return to my top 3.There is a very real case to be made in drafting Kelce in the first round this season. A big part of that decision is going to come down to the potential suspension of Tyreek Hill. If Hill isn't suspended, then he should be taken in the early second round. If he is though, I'd highly consider drafting Kelce in the late first round. My current projections have Hill being suspended for a majority of the season (although recent news makes this less likely than it was before). In this set of projections, Kelce is projected to outscore the next best TE by 50 half PPR points. That sort of weekly advantage over your opponent is absolutely massive, and is something that can be the difference maker between a playoff team, and a championship team.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
If you wanted to select Elliott at No. 1 overall, you shouldn't feel guilty or bad about it. In fact, he should probably be the favorite to finish as the top running back considering the lack of competence in the Giants offense. Elliott has played 40 regular season games in his career and delivered RB2 or better numbers in 92.5 percent of those games, which is actually better than Le'Veon Bell's 91.9 percent. Elliott is as safe as they come, provided he doesn't hold out. If he's not signed by the second week of the preseason, he's going to fall in the rankings. Not only was he worthy of a first-round pick last year, but there are now question marks surrounding the No. 1 receiver on his team that could boost his targets to even newer heights. Not that he needs them, as his 150 targets were tied for fourth all-time among tight ends. Kelce gives you consistency and predictability at a very unpredictable position and an advantage every week. If you want to take him at the end of the first-round or beginning of the second-round, you should
Kyle Yates
The Fantasy Footballers
The Cowboys are making strides to make their offense more dynamic in 2019 by promoting Kellen Moore to OC. Zeke's the centerpiece of this Cowboys offense and he's always going to be in contention to push the 300 carry mark each season, but will the Cowboys' efforts mean even more scoring opportunities for Zeke in 2019? There's a world where we could look back at the end of the season and be talking about Elliot as the RB1 over Barkley. If Tyreek Hill misses this season from his pending suspension, Kelce stands to be the biggest benefactor. A huge factor in the receiving game in the league's most dynamic passing offense, Kelce's a no-brainer of a pick at the Tight End position. Currently, I have no issue with taking Kelce at the back end of the 1st round due to the positional advantage he brings.
