Career low 3 PDs in 2020. Was injured early in 2020 but was able to suit up for 15 games. His career-high 10 TFL in 2019 made up a large part of his overall impact plays that year and his career high 12 PDs in 2018 made up over half of his total impact plays his rookie season. A breakout could be looming if he can bring up his tackles number up closer to 130 and get back to being an impact player when healthy. - The Ultimate IDP Index

I've seen Warner ranked as high as the #1 overall LB. I think the 49ers defense limits their own opportunity too much for him to warrant that high of a draft selection. Although he's developed into a great player, his production is too inconsistent (he had 9 games of 4 solos or less last year) for me to feel great about him as my LB1 "stud" in most leagues.Edmunds has yet to live up to his first round draft status, grading out as a below average linebacker in each of his three seasons in the league. On the flip side, he's still just 23 years old and the team seems dedicated to him after they picked up his fifth year option. So he'll continue to see every down playing time, but I'd rather just draft his teammate Matt Milano several rounds later and likely get similar value.
