FantasyPros
When Conner wore down at the end of the 2018 season, did the Steelers get a bit worried? They reached for Benny Snell in the fourth-round, highlighting they clearly felt running back depth was a need. With Antonio Brown and Jesse James gone, there are over 200 targets that have vacated the team, so it's possible Conner can build upon his strong 2018 season. The slight risk of a timeshare knocks him down into the second round, though he's got top-six upsideWhen he's on the field, you have yourself a guaranteed top-five wide receiver. While health has been an issue in the past, Jones has now played at least 14 games in five straight seasons. Outside of his rookie season and the year he needed surgery on his foot, Jones has been a top-10 receiver in all six of his other seasons. He's a safe pick at the back end of the first-round
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
The Steelers may not demand Conner to carry the full load, but he's still the main guy where it matters. He's worthy of a 1st rounder and has the upside to be the top back in fantasy if things break just right.Jones is a stud and a yearly #1 threat. What more needs to be said?
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Conner emerged as one of the all-time great draft-day bargains last season after he took over as the Steelers' starting running back once Le'Veon Bell failed to report to the team. He did wonders with the featured role, averaging nearly 21 touches and a touchdown per game in his 13 starts. Although the Steelers offense may not be quite as explosive without Antonio Brown, Conner's ability to succeed as an RB1 is not in doubt. What is in doubt is his workload, as there are rumblings that Jaylen Samuels and/or Benny Snell could significantly cut into Conner's carries. Still, running backs with Conner's fantasy potential are few and far between, and he should still be drafted as an RB1, unless rumors of a significant decrease in workload grow stronger.Jones has as much talent as any wide receiver in the game, without question, and he averaged about 100 yards receiving per game last year. The only criticism is his lack of touchdown catches, but his production there obviously increased over the second half of the season. With Dirk Koetter on board, Jones' production could climb even higher. Expect another elite season from the big receiver, and he should be drafted as a top-five wide receiver.
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
Was No. 8 RB in half-PPR PPG and even though I think he'll lose a few more touches to backup J. Samuels this time around, there'll likely be a few more touches to share with WR A. Brown goneReturn of OC Dirk Koetter should be fine for Jones (Koetter-led offenses have finished Top 4 in pass att. in 4 of his past 6 seasons) - Jones led NFL with 170 targets, and is avg. 104.6 rYPG since '13
Kevin Wheeler
Draftwize
In 2018 Conner had 13 total TDs, 55 receptions, nearly 1,000 rushing yards, and nearly 500 receiving yards, 22 carries+targets per games - and 34% of his carries came against 8+ in the box. @JeffHaseley
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Conner will be a workhorse this season. A Steelers workhorse is someone you want. Please don't overthink this.
Michael Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Despite missing 3 games last season, Conner ended with 973/12 rushing and 55/497/1 receiving. The Pittsburgh Steelers RB is THE perennial RB you want to own. Don't buy into the Samuels/Snell noise. Even Rashard Mendenhall had back to back years with over 1350 total scrimmage yards and at least 8 TDs. Conner is much better.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Through 10 games last year, Conner was a top-tier fantasy back before slowing down and suffering an injury toward the end of the year. He still has that type of potential, of course, with this Steelers offense but there are talks of the workload being split with Jaylen Samuels or Benny Snell which should keep Conner out of the first round of your fantasy drafts. You can say DeAndre Hopkins is the world's most talented receiver and even that his QB is a better passer than Matt Ryan, but the fact of the matter is that Hopkins has never once had as many receiving yards as Julio has averaged over the last five seasons. We know exactly who Jones is and it's a top fantasy performer every year. If they ever start throwing him the ball in the Red Zone, look out for a historic season.
Sean Koerner
The Action Network

Kyle Yates
The Fantasy Footballers
Conner undoubtedly has the talent to be the workhorse back in Pittsburgh, but seems destined to have Jaylen Samuels and Benny Snell eat into the workload. There's still going to be plenty of work going Conner's way and he should be a steady fantasy contributor week in and week out. We've become so used to it that the fact that Julio Jones consistently puts up 1,400+ receiving yards practically goes un-talked about. This offense is going to air the ball out and Julio will be the centerpiece of it all. There's no reason to doubt Jones putting up video game like numbers again in 2019.
Nick Zylak
Fantasy Football Advice
Conner averaged 19.6 half PPR points per game last season. It's worth noting that he averaged 23.5 points per game over his first 8 weeks, then just 12.8 points per game over his final 5. He also had 5 100+ yard rushing performances in those first 8 weeks, then exactly zero games over 65 rushing yards over the last 5 weeks. Part of this was likely due to injuries, but part is also the varience of TD's. He scored 10 TD's over those first 8 weeks, then 3 over his final 5. The 13 total TD's in 13 games is going to regress, and he's now likely to see less of an opportunity share with the emergence of Jaylen Samuels. Furthermore, the offense as a whole is likely to regress in the post AB era. They were 4th in both plays per game and TD's per game last season, both of which are likely to drop this season. Conner isn't a bad pick, there are just so many other good picksJulio Jones has over 1,400 receiving yards in each of the last 5 seasons. Think about that for a second. The guy everyone wants to say is super injury prone has over 1,400 receiving yards in 5 straight seasons. He's also averaged 6.2 TD's over that stretch, which isn't elite, but it's also not as bad as people make it out to be. Since 2014 he's finished as the WR: 8/2/6/4/5. New OC Dirk Koetter loves to push the ball downfield, and that's exactly where Julio thrives. Look for Julio to finish as a top 8 WR yet again in 2019.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Conner should be the lead back in Pittsburgh in 2019 and as long as he can stay healthy, he should have RB1 value behind one of the best offensive lines in the NFL.Jones had 113 receptions for 1,677 yards and 8 touchdowns last year. He snapped out of his TD drought last year and reestablished himself as an elite WR1.
