FantasyPros
When Conner wore down at the end of the 2018 season, did the Steelers get a bit worried? They reached for Benny Snell in the fourth-round, highlighting they clearly felt running back depth was a need. With Antonio Brown and Jesse James gone, there are over 200 targets that have vacated the team, so it's possible Conner can build upon his strong 2018 season. The slight risk of a timeshare knocks him down into the second round, though he's got top-six upsideYou have to love the landing spot for Beckham as he's now tied to a franchise quarterback who's deadly accurate. The issue is that the Browns are a franchise that has tons of talent on the defensive side of the ball, which may limit the amount of pass attempts to go around. Still, you don't trade for Beckham and not use him. He may not belong in the elite tier in year one with the Browns, but it shouldn't shock anyone if he finishes there. He is an outlier
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
The Steelers may not demand Conner to carry the full load, but he's still the main guy where it matters. He's worthy of a 1st rounder and has the upside to be the top back in fantasy if things break just right.Beckham is in the best situation he's had yet in the NFL. Now he just needs to stay healthy.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Conner emerged as one of the all-time great draft-day bargains last season after he took over as the Steelers' starting running back once Le'Veon Bell failed to report to the team. He did wonders with the featured role, averaging nearly 21 touches and a touchdown per game in his 13 starts. Although the Steelers offense may not be quite as explosive without Antonio Brown, Conner's ability to succeed as an RB1 is not in doubt. What is in doubt is his workload, as there are rumblings that Jaylen Samuels and/or Benny Snell could significantly cut into Conner's carries. Still, running backs with Conner's fantasy potential are few and far between, and he should still be drafted as an RB1, unless rumors of a significant decrease in workload grow stronger. If you said a couple of years ago that Beckham Jr. would move from the Giants to the Browns and be seeing a massive upgrade in both offense and quarterback play, you would have sounded ridiculous. There's no way to fully understand how the Browns offense will unfold, given the new offensive coordinator and the fact that they probably won't need to throw quite as much with an improved overall defense. But none of that really matters. Beckham has basically averaged a 1500-yard, 12-touchdown pace since he entered into the league, and should now have an elite quarterback throwing him the ball. There are plenty of mouths to feed in Cleveland and Beckham has battled injuries in his career, but don't kid yourself. He's going to have a monster year.
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
Was No. 8 RB in half-PPR PPG and even though I think he'll lose a few more touches to backup J. Samuels this time around, there'll likely be a few more touches to share with WR A. Brown gone44 TD in 59 career games, 3rd-most among WRs in NFL history thru 59 games - quicks, route-running, hands, YAC ability should be match made in heaven with QB Mayfield's accuracy, anticipation
Kevin Wheeler
Draftwize
In 2018 Conner had 13 total TDs, 55 receptions, nearly 1,000 rushing yards, and nearly 500 receiving yards, 22 carries+targets per games - and 34% of his carries came against 8+ in the box. @JeffHaseley
Michael Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Despite missing 3 games last season, Conner ended with 973/12 rushing and 55/497/1 receiving. The Pittsburgh Steelers RB is THE perennial RB you want to own. Don't buy into the Samuels/Snell noise. Even Rashard Mendenhall had back to back years with over 1350 total scrimmage yards and at least 8 TDs. Conner is much better. If OBJ stays healthy we may be talking about him being the first receiver off the board next season. I don't think we need to talk about how good OBJ is, we have seen the numbers he can put up with Eli Manning, this connection could be and likely will be game changing.
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Conner will be a workhorse this season. A Steelers workhorse is someone you want. Please don't overthink this.OBJ was 13th last season in True Target Value with Eli Manning throwing him the ball. If those targets came from Baker Mayfield instead, OBJ would have been the 9th WR. Now factor in that Mayfield was 12th in True Throw Value in his ROOKIE SEASON and OBJ becomes a top-3 WR option with potential for for a WR1 finish.

The Action Network

Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Through 10 games last year, Conner was a top-tier fantasy back before slowing down and suffering an injury toward the end of the year. He still has that type of potential, of course, with this Steelers offense but there are talks of the workload being split with Jaylen Samuels or Benny Snell which should keep Conner out of the first round of your fantasy drafts. You can argue that there is not a more talented receiver, or even football player in the league. Now that Beckham is in Cleveland with the next great quarterback, his situation is much better than he's ever seen before. With those two in mind, he has as good of a chance as anyone to finish as the WR1 but with soft tissue injuries in his past, he comes with the most risk of any elite receiver too.
Kyle Yates
The Fantasy Footballers
Conner undoubtedly has the talent to be the workhorse back in Pittsburgh, but seems destined to have Jaylen Samuels and Benny Snell eat into the workload. There's still going to be plenty of work going Conner's way and he should be a steady fantasy contributor week in and week out.The general public has seemingly forgotten about OBJ and his talents and abilities when he's on the field. Injuries marred his season last year, but he's the best wideout in the game when he plays. Now, he heads to a situation with an ascending QB talent in Baker Mayfield who can take full advantage of OBJ's quickness and route-running ability. Baker's going to latch onto Odell early and the sky's the limit for him in 2019.
Nick Zylak
Fantasy Football Advice
Conner averaged 19.6 half PPR points per game last season. It's worth noting that he averaged 23.5 points per game over his first 8 weeks, then just 12.8 points per game over his final 5. He also had 5 100+ yard rushing performances in those first 8 weeks, then exactly zero games over 65 rushing yards over the last 5 weeks. Part of this was likely due to injuries, but part is also the varience of TD's. He scored 10 TD's over those first 8 weeks, then 3 over his final 5. The 13 total TD's in 13 games is going to regress, and he's now likely to see less of an opportunity share with the emergence of Jaylen Samuels. Furthermore, the offense as a whole is likely to regress in the post AB era. They were 4th in both plays per game and TD's per game last season, both of which are likely to drop this season. Conner isn't a bad pick, there are just so many other good picksPeople are a little too scared of Odell this season. His target market share is likely going to decrease...but he's also going to a different market. Odell moves from a bad offense, with a bad QB, to an elite offense, with an already elite QB. Also, is there really that much competition for targets? Sure Landry will get his, but Njoku's never been a target hog, and they are likely to use Chubb on most downs ahead of Duke (assuming Duke is still even on the team come week 1). Behind them all you have is Antonio Calloway, Rashard Higgins and Damion Ratley. People can't honestly expect those guys to take that many targets away from Odell! Is he a first round pick? Probably not. But he's a great second round pick, and I wouldn't be shocked at all if he were to finish in the top 3.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Conner should be the lead back in Pittsburgh in 2019 and as long as he can stay healthy, he should have RB1 value behind one of the best offensive lines in the NFL.Beckahm Jr. is still one of the best wide receivers in the NFL and playing with QB Baker Mayfield is going to really help his fantasy production in 2019.
