FantasyPros
Ingram should be a nice addition to the Ravens running game and he will be the lead back in the committee. It will be a crowded backfield with both RB Gus Edwards and RB Justice Hill fighting for playing time.White was a huge part of the Patriots passing game and I would expect that to continue in 2019. He's capable of posting 100 receptions in a season, which gives him enough touches to have RB3 value in standard leagues and RB2 value in PPR leagues.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Leaving the nest of the Saints' offense is something Ingram has never had to do, so life may seem a bit more difficult in Baltimore. It's a good thing that they'll be a run-first team with Lamar Jackson under center, but it's also a bad thing around the goal-line, as Jackson is more of a threat to score than Ingram. The Ravens drafted Justice Hill, and still have Kenneth Dixon and Gus Edwards on the roster, so it may be more of a timeshare than some believe, though Ingram should be the leader in the clubhouse. His lack of upside drops him below some of the other options in his rangeHow are we devaluing White's role on the Patriots again? With Rob Gronkowski, Cordarrelle Patterson, and Chris Hogan gone, Tom Brady is going to be looking for some familiar faces, and it's not like they've used Sony Michel in the passing game. White should have a similar role to last year, you know, the one that had him wind-up as the RB8 on the season. We're all still probably too low on him
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Should we be worried about Justise Hill? Probs. But Ingram is a very solid back in a run-first offense. You won't be mad you drafted him.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Whether you want to believe in Ingram or you don't, you have plenty of ammunition. Those looking to buy can point to the fact that he averaged over 4.5 yards per carry over each of the last four seasons and will now play in a Greg Roman offense that will likely lead the league in rushing attempts. Those avoiding Ingram can point to his age (29), his PED suspension, and the fact that in each of the last three years, the lead running back for the Ravens at the start of the year as lost his job. Your best bet is to go somewhere in between - buy Ingram as a likely low-end RB2, but have depth at running back if you draft him.White is about as solid as they come in PPR formats, though his production waned as the season went on. With Rob Gronkowski out of the lineup, White's production has often soared, which portends good things for 2019. Josh Gordon's presence gives Tom Brady another body to throw the ball to (assuming Gordon can stay on the field), but White should continue to remain heavily involved in Josh McDaniels' system. Expect another borderline RB1 season in PPR leagues.
Kevin Wheeler
Draftwize
Mark Ingram is one of my main targets this season in redraft. Justice Hill is mostly an analyst-fueled hype machine at this point and the coaches have shown little inclination to use him how most hoped. There's a good chance Ingram sees 18+ touches per game. @ConnorAllenNFL
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
He's a proven, productive 3-down back that will take on a lead role for what should be one of the most run-heavy teams (again) - decent shot at 250+ touchesWe prefer our RBs to be rooted in a foundation of carries, but White forces us to think differently - 10 of his 12 TDs came inside the red zone, and only CMC produced more fantasy points via the pass among RBs
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Lamar Jackson had around 14-20 rushes per game last season whereas whereas the Baltimore RBs COMBINED for around 20-28. That certainly leaves some room for production, but how many targets can we expect Ingram to see? With Hill, Gus the Bus, and even Dixon in the mix, Ingram will likely be more TD-dependent than expected.
Michael Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Ingram is up there in age and has never really had a backfield to himself, however there is a lot of potential in an offense that may break rush attempt records. He is in line to be the lead back and barring health, should see over 250 rush attempts.Once in a fully healthy backfield with Michel and Burkhead, White lost a bunch of touches and performed nowhere near his early season production. He was no longer a top 24 RB and he had 3 games with 2 or less catches and 15 or less yards in the final 6 weeks. He will certainly be a steal if injuries arise again, but I think some caution is granted here after a career year above his norm.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Ingram has been great in the Saints offense over the last few seasons but that does not mean he will fit well in a different offense, especially as a 30-year-old. Sure, the Ravens brought in Ingram but let's not forget that Gus Edwards was terrific to close the season and the Ravens also drafted the electric Justice Hill. Ingram certainly has RB2 potential, but this is shaping up to be a three-headed monster splitting the workload.White finished as an RB1 last season and now the offense has fewer weapons in the passing game and a banged up starting running back. It isn't crazy to think White could end up back in that territory in 2019 and if he doesn't, he is a safe bet to finish top 30 thanks to his receiving abilities.
Nick Zylak
Fantasy Football Advice
My projections absolutely hate Mark Ingram this season. He's going to see very little work in the passing game, and Justice Hill is going to take some of his early down work. This is a great rushing offense though...so he's going to be very efficient on the ground. I just can't justify his current ADP. He's going to get carries and TD's vultured by multiple players, and he won't be able to make up for it with his receiving stats. There are better RB's going in his range, so target them instead.Over the last 4 seasons, White has finished as the RB 45/28/41/8. Last season Burkhead was injured for most of the season, and Michel was banged up for part of the year as well. This season Burkhead is back, Sony is healthy for now, and they drafted another RB in Damien Harris. None of these RB's will take White's third down role away, but they will ensure that he sees closer to 50 carries than 100. In 14 games without Gronk in the lineup, White has seen an extra target per game, and a 43% increase in TD's per game. Basically White's fantasy value is going to hinge on his TD's. If he gets lucky and ends up with 12 like last season...then he's going to be a value at his ADP. If he regresses a bit and only gets 7-8 (still a decent amount given his expected total volume) then he's probably going to finish as a pick that neither hurts, nor helps you. If he gets unlucky in the TD department then he's going to be a bust. I typically fade players like this, since I like to leave as little up to luck as possible.
Kyle Yates
The Fantasy Footballers
Mark Ingram is a screaming value at his current ADP. The Ravens have reinforced their offensive philosophy to run the ball this offseason and Ingram is going to be at the center of it all. 220+ carries isn't out of the question for Ingram and there will be running lanes galore for him as defenses attempt to eliminate Lamar Jackson's running abilities. Ingram is the perfect RB to snag in the mid-rounds of your draft and roll out week after week.
