FantasyPros
It's very possible that Sanders outperforms my ranking of him, but he's now 31 years old and has started to show signs of slowing down, whether it be age or injuries. His yards per target has declined each of the last three seasons, bottoming out at 6.0 yards in 2017. The upgrade in quarterback should help, though, as he was still averaging 7.7 targets per game, which ranked 17th among wide receivers. He should be considered a solid WR4 with some upside, though Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton have garnered a lot of praise through the offseason workouts, which could eat into his target share. After Washington traded for Alex Smith, I knew I'd be high on Crowder. My interest only grew fonder when they brought in Paul Richardson, who should help stretch the field and open things underneath for Crowder. Smith doesn't like throwing into tight windows, as evidenced by NFL's NextGenStats that show a league-low 12 percent of his throws went to a wide receiver with one or less yard of separation. While Richardson and Josh Doctson were mediocre at separating, Crowder averaged 3.2 yards of separation, which ranked eight among wide receivers in 2017. Reports out of camp are that the Smith/Crowder connection has been apparent in the red zone.

QB List
If the Broncos have a receiver with elite athleticism in Demaryius Thomas, then in Sanders they have a receiver with elite-elite hands. Like OBJ and Marvin Jones, Sanders has long been known as an extremely skilled receiver who can make acrobatic catches at will, however injuries and poor QB play have shackled him to a life of fantasy mediocrity. But, what's this? Sanders looks up. The Osweiler-Lynch-Semien clouds part as Sanders is draped in heavenly light. Through the blinding light a hand extends down to him. He gently grasps the outstretched hand, and blocking the light with his hand on his forehead, Emmanuel sees the ethereal image of Case Keenum before him. "Come. Your suffering ends now" Keenum exclaims as he lifts the sobbing Sanders into the upper reaches of fantasyland*. Seriously though, Keenum was one of the best QB's under pressure last season, all while doing so in a top 5 sample size of QB pressures. Even with a suspect Broncos O-line (yes even with McGlinchy), I cannot understate the tremendous upgrade both Thomas and Sanders will see in QB play. Though he will still presumably receive the short end of the team target share with Demaryius Thomas around, and even with talented 2nd round receiver Courtland Sutton nipping at his heels, we saw the kind of numbers a talented #2 receiver in a Keenum led offense could put up i.e Stefon Diggs. Injuries and target share considered, Sanders COULD still underperform his top 30 ranking, but with potentially top 15 upside, I feel Sanders at #26 offers tremendous value. The case for Crowder as a high upside play at #27 is an easy one: not only did the young receiver suffer from a slight case of stone hands last season, but he received his passes from a relatively inaccurate gunslinger in Kirk Cousins. Now nearly a year removed from the struggles of last season, Crowder enters 2018 as the primary slot receiver for a Redskins offense led now by conservative pitching machine Alex Smith. Aided by a jump in his QB's accuracy, an essential aspect of a successful slot game, and a defined role with the infusion of speedster Paul Richardson, Crowder looks poised to produce solid top 30 numbers over the course of a long season.

I really like Sanders' ability, and the upgrade at quarterback should help him get back into better stats. With no tight end to speak of and just Demaryius Thomas to compete for targets with, I expect Sanders to have a strong season.Crowder was hyped pretty well last season and then crashed and burned early on, but he did improve after the halfway point. I still like his ability and am not sold on Josh Doctson just yet, while Paul Richardson should deep routes and give Crowder short and mid-range targets. As long as Jordan Reed continues his inability to stay on the field, Crowder will have a shot at a bounce-back season.

Sanders should bounce back in a major way with Keenum in town and a healthy Chad Kelly to back him upSmith looks to love him some Crowder
Andrew Gould
FantasyPros
Snapping a three-year streak of 130-target, 1,000-yard seasons, Sanders saw those marks evaporate to 92 and 555 in a dozen games. His YPG average continued to drop dramatically (87.8, 75.7, 64.5, 46.3), and his catch % tumbled to a career-low 51.1. Denver's passers must accept some of the blame, so Case Keenum has the opportunity to at least repair his stock as a high-volume WR3. One of 2017's trendiest picks, Crowder looked like a colossal bust with 149 receiving yards and four fumbles through his first six games. (Condolences to anyone who stuck by his side long enough to endure Week 4's -7 yards and fumble.) He then flipped a switch, totaling 640 yards and 74 targets in nine redemptive outings. Depending on which version drafters trust, he's either a steal or reach at his WR38 ADP. He created 3.2 yards of average separation, and opportunities should remain bountiful as Alex Smith's top targets, so lean toward the former.
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Could be the WR steal of the draft, he's way better than he's graded out and Keenum could provide a massive lift to Denver's passing game
Kevin Wheeler
NFL Mock
After coming into the season with lingering injuries, Jamison Crowder was PPR WR13 over weeks 10-17 last season. I expect Crowder and new QB Alex Smith will be working hard to form a solid connection during camp.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Prior to last year, Sanders was a WR2 or better for three straight years. Now that they've got a solid quarterback, we may see him return to that type of production, but it is also a far cry from the WR64 he finished last year. He is a classic risk/reward type of receiver.Crowder has continued to have doubters but keeps getting better each and every year. This season, he fits perfectly with his new quarterback, Alex Smith, who only throws to receivers when they have separation, which is Crowder's specialty. He could have a huge breakout campaign as a result.
