I like JuJu an awful lot - he just comes across as a big, sturdy, play-making wideout with plenty of swagger to his game - go back and watch him lay out CIN LB Burfict (and then taunt him) last December in Cincy - even playing opposite A. Brown, I expect JuJu to keep getting his

FantasyPros
Fun fact: Smith-Schuster ranked 55th among wide receivers in targets per game. His 5.6 targets per game ranked behind guys like Kendall Wright and Danny Amendola. His 11.6 yards per target was the best among wide receivers with at least 25 targets, and in fact, it was the best in the last five years. He's going to regress there and the offense didn't change drastically from last year to this year, so seeing his targets make a huge jump is unlikely. We've seen the upside he presents, but that was his absolute ceiling given the opportunities he's capped at. You can't draft a wide receiver who ranked 55th in targets per game in the top-four rounds of your fantasy draft, you just can't. His highlight touchdown catch in the first preseason game is likely to bump him into the top four rounds, making him overvalued. After Washington traded for Alex Smith, I knew I'd be high on Crowder. My interest only grew fonder when they brought in Paul Richardson, who should help stretch the field and open things underneath for Crowder. Smith doesn't like throwing into tight windows, as evidenced by NFL's NextGenStats that show a league-low 12 percent of his throws went to a wide receiver with one or less yard of separation. While Richardson and Josh Doctson were mediocre at separating, Crowder averaged 3.2 yards of separation, which ranked eight among wide receivers in 2017. Reports out of camp are that the Smith/Crowder connection has been apparent in the red zone.

The reaction I expect many of you to have when reading this next one: Reaches #18 on rankings. Adjusts glasses. Sees JuJu Smith-Schuster; LOL WUT? Well believe it! Smith-Schuster produced to the tune of the #18 RECEIVER last year! Nuts, I know. And with the sixth best catch rate in the NFL last year, and Martavis Bryant gone for good, JuJu has a firm grasp on the #2 receiver role in what is one of the most, if not THE most, potent offense in the NFL. Now, same as Antonio Brown, if Ben Roethlisberger goes down his value takes quite a dip, but with an expected slight boost in targets this year, Smith-Schuster should offer the same high floor and good upside last season's version produced. The case for Crowder as a high upside play at #27 is an easy one: not only did the young receiver suffer from a slight case of stone hands last season, but he received his passes from a relatively inaccurate gunslinger in Kirk Cousins. Now nearly a year removed from the struggles of last season, Crowder enters 2018 as the primary slot receiver for a Redskins offense led now by conservative pitching machine Alex Smith. Aided by a jump in his QB's accuracy, an essential aspect of a successful slot game, and a defined role with the infusion of speedster Paul Richardson, Crowder looks poised to produce solid top 30 numbers over the course of a long season.
Chet Gresham
WalterFootball
Smith-Schuster is around 17 years old and still ate up the competition last season. He'll always be behind Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell in the pecking order, but he showed me enough to expect good things as the third option and at such a young age, I expect he'll just continue to improve.Crowder was hyped pretty well last season and then crashed and burned early on, but he did improve after the halfway point. I still like his ability and am not sold on Josh Doctson just yet, while Paul Richardson should deep routes and give Crowder short and mid-range targets. As long as Jordan Reed continues his inability to stay on the field, Crowder will have a shot at a bounce-back season.

Andrew Gould
FantasyPros
Having registered 2017's biggest passing play-a 97-yard TD reception-Smith-Schuster led all wideouts with 11.9 yards per target. His 9.6 standard PPG tied Stefon Diggs for 11th at WR, and that includes his zero-target NFL debut. Since so much of his success stemmed from big-play scores, he'll need a substantial rise in his 5.7 targets per game, which seems likely now that he'll spend the entire season as Pittsburgh's unquestioned No. 2 WR alongside Antonio Brown. Expect volume to meet efficiency for a strong sophomore encore. One of 2017's trendiest picks, Crowder looked like a colossal bust with 149 receiving yards and four fumbles through his first six games. (Condolences to anyone who stuck by his side long enough to endure Week 4's -7 yards and fumble.) He then flipped a switch, totaling 640 yards and 74 targets in nine redemptive outings. Depending on which version drafters trust, he's either a steal or reach at his WR38 ADP. He created 3.2 yards of average separation, and opportunities should remain bountiful as Alex Smith's top targets, so lean toward the former.

NFL Mock
After coming into the season with lingering injuries, Jamison Crowder was PPR WR13 over weeks 10-17 last season. I expect Crowder and new QB Alex Smith will be working hard to form a solid connection during camp.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Despite missing two games with injury and not starting for half the season, JuJu was a monster. He posted over 900 yards with a 73.4% catch rate. He has WR1 upside, for sure, but with Antonio Brown, Le'Veon Bell and now James Washington to compete with, we might want to rethink his floor.Crowder has continued to have doubters but keeps getting better each and every year. This season, he fits perfectly with his new quarterback, Alex Smith, who only throws to receivers when they have separation, which is Crowder's specialty. He could have a huge breakout campaign as a result.
Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Smith-Schuster averaged 10.3 fantasy points per game in his rookie season and he should be even better next year with a year in the offense under his belt.
