Going from 140-plus targets to one where he will have a tough time seeing 110 targets is a very big deal for someone like Landry. I believe he's a better football player than what the Dolphins used him as, and the Browns seem to agree, lining him up all over the field. The fact that the Browns traded away Corey Coleman and that Josh Gordon has been away from the team makes me much more optimistic in Landry's expected usage. Put me down for someone who believes he'll be a consistent WR3 with upside for more should Gordon miss any time. It seems that everyone is forgetting how much Greg Olsen means to this offense and why Funchess got the volume he did last year. While he did a solid job, the Panthers felt the need to draft a wide receiver with their first-round pick, and one who'll play the underneath possession-style role, eliminating Funchess' volume. He's going to be a lesser version of Kelvin Benjamin going forward. While I propped him up as a sleeper last year, he's going to be considered a bust in 2018.

What if I told you Jarvis Landry and Duke Johnson are the same guy. Landry averaged 6.1 yards per target and Duke averaged 7.5 yards per target. Njoku will also be involved in this same work area with his 6.4 yards per target. Feels like they all Cannibalize each other. Pass @DFFMemphis After watching the first preseason game all thoughts of Landry not getting enough targets have dissolved. I don't think he'll get as many as he did in Miami, but I think we will see him get a few yards after the catch this year. He's been lining up on the outside more and playing more of a WR2 role than from the slot.
Staff Rankings
QB List
Sitting one slot behind his teammate Josh Gordon, Landry comes from an organization in the Dolphins whose level of deficiency was only matched by the level of targets shoved down Landry's throat. Jarvis sustained production in standard leagues based solely upon the number of 8 yard catches he would make, which as you could have guessed, was A LOT (112 catches to be exact). Now, it's anyone's guess how the pricey receiver will be used in Cleveland, but no one can doubt Landy's solid hands and great route running skills. Given sufficient volume and a decent amount of red zone targets, Landry can produce as a solid WR3 for your team, with a whole lot more upside based on target volume. As a Funchess owner last year, let me first fill you in on just how frustrating this guy was to own. Within a primarily run-first Carolina offense, Funchess served as the lead receiver and seemingly the lone target for Cam Newton's frequently errant passes when Greg Olsen didn't see the field. Despite this role, Funchess' target share and touchdown output would wildly fluctuate from game to game as Ron Rivera leaned even more, or slightly less, on his run game. Playing in fantasy as a sort of A.J. Green lite, Funchess will give you 1-2 games with 100+ yards and 2 TD's, then slap a big ol' spoon full of 3 rec, 30 yards, 0 TD's on your plate. "I made 'em extra sloppy for ya" he exclaims, laughing maniacally. Many, additionally, seem worried about the addition of D.J. Moore to the Panthers' WR mix. I'm not, as Moore profiles more as a burner, rather than a large imposing possession receiver like Funchess, and therefore shouldn't impinge on Funchess' role within the offense. Anyway, if you're on board for a rollercoaster of game-to-game production, Funchess should lend you somewhere between WR 30 and WR 20 production this year when all is said and done, earning him a solid #24 spot in the rankings.

WalterFootball
Landry landed in Cleveland, and even though that team looks like they will be much better this season, the Browns will have a lot of mouths to feed in the receiving game. I expect Landry to lead the team in targets, but his upside will likely be diminished somewhat.I think Funchess will continue to improve and become a strong red-zone target for Cam Newton. Funchess also will likely continue to be the No. 1 wide receiver, but he will need to hold off D.J. Moore for that moniker. Moore's transition into the NFL and the Panthers' offense will likely have a big effect on Funchess' numbers being good or bad.
Andrew Gould
FantasyPros
Landry fell 13 yards shy of 1,000 with a career-low 8.8 yards per reception, but he nevertheless appeased all fantasy investors with an NFL-high 112 catches and nine TDs, four more than his previous personal best. While his PPR appeal is unquestioned, it might surprise some to observe his remarkable standard-scoring consistency (WR15, 16, and 14) over the past three years. The Dolphins, however, never possessed a wideout as talented as Josh Gordon or a prolific pass-catching RB like Duke Johnson. The volume-dependent Landry will likely use some targets and experience TD regression, which is why he's falling beyond the top-20 wideouts in all formats. He's still palatable at his WR23 PPR ADP.An 840-yard, eight-touchdown campaign put Funchess 0.1 point behind Mike Evans at WR21. While a smashing overall success, he was also a week-to-week headache who delivered fewer than five points six times. He transformed 111 targets into only 63 catches, and Cam Newton now has a healthy Greg Olsen and rookie D.J. Moore clamoring for his attention. A WR31 ADP allows some regression cushion for those willing to stomach volatility for week-winning upside.
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Landry is more of a PPR fiend but we have no way in knowing if his role or chemistry with Tyrod will make him worth the risk
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
This offseason, Landry went from the best possible situation with little competition and a QB who loved him to the worst possible situation in a crowded receiver core and a QB who rarely passes the ball. Add in that he is also due for touchdown regression and we may be looking at the biggest disappointment this year.Funchess took a step forward last year but now Greg Olsen is back and they drafted DJ Moore in the first round. He should regress, obviously, with less targets, but he still has enough appeal to be a depth piece in standard 12-team leagues.
Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League
Should soak up targets for Taylor but for the first time in his career he will have talent that can produce around him to compete withFunchess will slide back to the number two role with Moore in town and may fall to fourth on the target totem pole
Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Landry is almost guaranteed to see 100 receptions every year and he had 9 touchdowns in 2017. It is impossible to know how he does in Cleveland, but even without good quarterback play in Miami, he found a way to thrive on that offense. Funchess averaged 8.3 fantasy points per game and he should still be a solid WR3 in their new offense that is being coached by OC Norv Turner.
