Zachary Hanshew
FantasyPros
Graham joins Chicago after two frustrating seasons with Green Bay where he was criminally under-utilized. Graham's recent struggles are well known, and many seem to have forgotten about his elite seasons in New Orleans and his final two years with New Orleans from 2016-17, where he averaged 735 yards and 8 TDs. Chicago's receiving corps has a dearth of talent and quality options, and Graham has a chance at a bounceback campaign in 2020.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
There wasn't a single Bears tight end who recorded 100 yards last year. No, I'm not talking about a game. I'm talking about the entire season. Signing Graham isn't something they should've done to solve that issue. He'll be 34 years old in November and has averaged just 6.5 yards per target the last three years, and that's despite playing with Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers. At 6-foot-6 and 260 pounds, he can still come down with a jump ball from time-to-time, but he's not someone you should hinge your fantasy season on. He's a streamer, at best. Not only did the Browns add Austin Hooper in free agency, but they decided to throw down a fourth-round pick on Harrison Bryant, another tight end to add to the mix. The Browns further hurt Njoku's value when they picked up the fifth-year option on his contract. He's in a bad place right now. All dynasty owners can hope is that he's traded.
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
Graham once again finds himself on a new team, this time the Chicago Bears. Gauging Graham.s potential is difficult considering we don't know who will start at QB for the Bears. If it's Trubisky, I'd avoid Graham but if Foles wins the job, Graham becomes a lot more interesting. Make sure to keep an eye on the QB situation in Chicago before drafting Graham. For a minute there it seemed like Njoku was going to be playing for a different team in 2020 but it seems like he will remain a member of the Browns. How unfortunate for him and fantasy owners. With Austin Hooper there, it's hard to imagine Njoku seeing many targets and I haven't even mentioned OBJ, Jarvis Landry, and Kareem Hunt. Barring an injury to Hooper, Njoku should remain on the waiver wire.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
It's hard to imagine Graham clawing his way back into being fantasy relevancy this year. Despite the lack of a second option behind Davante Adams, Graham barely made any noise last year for the Packers, finishing 22nd in 1/2 PPR points among tight ends. Now in what was a stagnant offense last year and with several other tight ends on the roster, it would be surprising if Graham found a way to factor in significantly. Ignore him in all leagues but deeper formats that award bonus points to tight ends. After some agent posturing, Njoku looks ready to stick with the Browns this year. The team brought in Austin Hooper, an obvious negative for Njoku's value, but Kevin Stefanski ran plenty of two-tight end sets in Minnesota. Kyle Rudolph and Irv Smith Jr. essentially split targets last year, and Baker Mayfield has thrown more than a third of his career touchdown passes to tight ends. In other words, there's still room for Njoku to produce in Cleveland if things break right, though he's only worth a look in deeper, tight-end premium formats.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Jimmy Graham was awful in Green Bay with superstar Aaron Rodgers and very little opposition so it's hard to see him fight back in the stuttering Bears attack with Nick Foles or Mitchell Trubisky. While he's clearly the Bears TE over Cole Kmet (who will mostly block), he's still not worth drafting in all but the deepest of leagues. After a promising 2018, injury and other issues cruelled the tight end's 2019 season but it is the addition of Austin Hooper that will have the biggest effect on the former first rounder. While he will have limited opportunities at the Browns with Hooper healthy, he's an intriguing handcuff, will still have weekly value given Stefanski's love of 2TE sets and is a real trade possibility. He's an upside option in deep leagues and dynasty.
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
Graham was brought in by the Bears this offseason and given quite a bit of money. He'll be involved in this offense, but with the addition of Cole Kmet in the draft, it's unlikely to lead to consistent fantasy production. At his age, Graham's nothing more than a low-end TE2 this year.Njoku has reportedly requested a trade from the Cleveland Browns, which opens the doors for him to land in a much better spot for fantasy football production. Njoku was going to be irrelevant this season with Austin Hooper ahead of him on the depth chart, but a change of scenery could remedy that. We'll have to wait and see where he lands, but if Njoku is out there on your league's waiver wire, it would be smart to scoop him up in the meantime.
Wolf of Roto Street
Roto Street Journal
Remains an athletic freak, hopefully he's traded away. Otherwise a gross 2 TE committee awaits
