Lineups
Whenever I'm making middle-round picks in my fantasy drafts, I'm always looking for high-upside players. If a player's ceiling is as a plodding RB2 who won't really help you win anyways, why take him? Why not take Dobbins instead, who should have some standalone value early in the season but can become a top-ten guy by the end of the season if he takes over the starting role. While Mark Ingram was excellent last season, he's 30 years old now and is clearly coming to the end of his career. Dobbins is the future for the Ravens, and if the future comes sooner than expected, he could be a league-winning mid-round pick.Utah's Zack Moss was one of my favorite running back prospects in this draft class and I love this landing spot for him. Devin Singletary is the presumed starter as of now, but I see Moss as the better player long-term. Frank Gore had 166 carries in this offense last year, most of which will go to Moss. Depending on how effective Singletary is early in the year, I can see him ceding more and more work to Moss as the season goes on.
John Hesterman
Dynasty League Football
For redraft purposes, Dobbins represents a high-value handcuff with some standalone appeal as he expects to get some usage. Were Ingram to miss any time, Dobbins would be an immediate plug-and-play option that could win championships. He should be treated in the same vein as Alexander Mattison and Tony Pollard. In deeper leagues, he is worth the bench stash. In keeper leagues or dynasty formats, Dobbins is a high-value option for 2021 and beyond.
Draft Engine
Draft Engine
Dobbins has the kind of well-rounded talent that fits in the modern NFL. A natural receiver who can be a multi-faceted weapon working out of the backfield or splitting out wide, he joins a Baltimore offense that ran more often than any team in 2019.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Dobbins has been one of the stars of training camp and he is a RB3 to start the season that has a chance to have a significant role by the end of the year.I know Devin Singletary had 961 yards from scrimmage and 4 touchdowns as he emerged as the starter in the second half of last season. Singletary is going to have a role, but it has become clear to me in the preseason that Moss will lead the team in touches this year and he is the flex back to own in Buffalo.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
JK Dobbins is clearly an excellent long-term prospect but what does he look like for 2020? It's starting to look like he'll be very much the backup in the Baltimore super-committee with Mark Ingram leading the way and Gus the Bus and Justice Hill (a great boy band name) getting a heap of involvement too. Dobbins clearly has plenty of upside if he can wrestle away the lead role but with Covid impacting preparations, that looks increasingly unlikely for now. He'll continue dropping down my rankings well into the RB3s until there's a good reason to move him up.Zack Moss takes over as the new Frank Gore in the Bills offense. That doesn't sound particularly exciting but that means 150-180 carries, a heap of goal line looks and a dozen bonus receptions. If Moss can show even middling efficiency, that's an RB3 finish. Moss has massive upside though. He has the talent to take over this backfield and become a workhorse plus Gore showed us what can happen if Singletary gets injured with 12 half-PPR PPG over that span. I love the Moss gamble compared to what else you're getting in the double digit rounds.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
If you're looking for a handcuff to Mark Ingram, Dobbins is your guy. The Ravens apparently had a first-round grade on him in the draft, so selecting him in the second round was a "no brainer," according to them. He's likely to get 8-10 touches per game even with Ingram in the lineup, as the Ravens are not going to give any one running back more than 15-16 touches per game. That limits the upside of Dobbins, as does Lamar Jackson stealing plenty of goal-line touches. The Bills have already come forward and said that Moss will take over the role that Frank Gore played last year. Before injuries and age started to add up for Gore, he was getting a lot of work in the Bills offense. He averaged 12.5 carries per game through Week 12, which is a big enough role to be considered an RB4. Not just that, but Gore ranked 12th among running backs for carries inside the five-yard-line. Moss is going to crush Devin Singletary's upside, and if Singletary were to miss time, Moss would be a top-15 start every week.
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
Dobbins finds himself in one of the most lethal backfields in the NFL. The only problem is, it's also one of the most crowded backfields in the NFL. Between Lamar Jackson running the football and Mark Ingram getting his fair share of touches, it's hard to envision Dobbins having a major role as a rookie. That being said, if anything were to Ingram, Dobbins would be an automatic start every single week.Moss figures to be the new Frank Gore in this BIlls offense which is not a terrible spot to be in, especially for a rookie with a lot of talent. Through 12 weeks in 2019, Gore averaged nearly 13 carries per game. If Moss sees that workload he'd be worthy of a bench spot and is certainly worth handcuffing to Devin Singletary.
Rob Wilson
The Fantasy Footballers
2021 will be Dobbins' year, but should remain behind Ingram most of this season
Dalton Kates
APEX Fantasy Leagues
Great RB prospect who landed with a team that fits his skill set perfectly. Should be efficient when touching the ball as a rookie, but the main question is volume with Ingram there and receiving work. Ravens threw to RBs 3rd least in the league last year.Un-athletic producer in college who goes to a team where he will be in a committee. Offers standalone value as a potential goal line back who can get work in the receiving game.
Andrew Erickson
Pro Football Focus
Moved him up again - be ahead of ECR
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
Dobbins may see enough work this season to have standalone value, but he has unspeakable upside if something happens to Mark Ingram. If that happens, we could see Dobbins finish within the top-5 RBs for fantasy football.Zack Moss stays down towards the middle of my Big Board purely due to his injury concerns. However, if there was a place for him to land and maximize his fantasy value, it's Buffalo. He'll assume the Frank Gore role and push Devin Singletary back into a change-of-pace role. Moss could have TD upside due to his usage as a goal-line back, but the injury concerns are a real thing with him.

Baltimore RBs had 393 rushing attempts last year. Ingram had 202. The clear loser is Gus Edwards and his 133 attempts, as well as 3rd, now 4th? String Justice Hill. Dobbins is in line for a 150 touch year. Not awesome, but will stay provide low end RB2/RB3 numbers in year 1.

If / when he takes over this backfield, Dobbins will be a weekly Top-10 option. 2020 might not be the year with Ingram still here, but Dynasty wise he's a monster.
