FantasyPros
I have had Green as the receiver to own in Cincinnati most of the offseason, but training camp has been battling hamstring issues and just does not appear that he can stay healthy. Boyd seems like the receiver to own in Cincinnati at this point.
Draft Engine
Draft Engine
After having served as the Rams' quarterbacks coach in 2018, the offense Bengals head coach Zac Taylor installed in Cincinnati last season was similar to the one Sean McVay implemented in Los Angeles. It turned out to be Boyd who benefited most among Cincinnati's wideouts, as he was one of only seven NFL players to surpass 145 targets in 2019.Brown set career-high marks in targets, receptions and yards in his first season with the Bills in 2019. With Buffalo having acquired Stefon Diggs from Minnesota in a March trade, Brown is unlikely to replicate those numbers in 2020 for a team that's built to win with defense and controlling the football. He also catches passes from a quarterback who isn't particularly accurate.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Tyler Boyd put together another strong WR2 season on the back of 1000+ yards and 5 TDs, despite some bad luck around the goal line. Now rejoined by A.J. Green and John Ross and with the additions of Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins, this offense is going to look very different in 2020. That takes away from Boyd's upside a little but he should remain a major part of an offence that might finally get it together this season. He's great value in the middle of the seventh round.John Brown had an impressive career resurgence in 2019, exploding to 1000 yards and 6 TDs with 37% of the team's air yards as the Bills RB1. With Stefon Diggs now in town, we can expect some more freedom for Brown but also a lot of very quiet games. He'll be difficult to start with any certainty and is a boom/bust option better suited to Best Ball.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
After finishing as the WR17 in 2018 and then the WR23 in 2019, Boyd's being disrespected in fantasy drafts, coming off the board outside the top 30 wide receivers. Sure, A.J. Green is back in the lineup, but drafters aren't high on him, either. Oddly enough, Boyd was a better fantasy asset with Green in the lineup in 2018. Boyd is 25 years old, it's surely not his age. Do people really think that Joe Burrow will be a downgrade from Andy Dalton? That can't be it. Looking at Burrow at LSU, his top receiver (stat-wise) was Justin Jefferson, who put up a stupid 111 receptions for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns. Jefferson was his slot receiver. While it's a different offense, we know Boyd saw 147 targets in the first year of Zac Taylor's offense. He's the ideal WR3 who's already proven to be better than that, and if the public is right on Green being "done", then Boyd would be a mega-hit in fantasy. The addition of Stefon Diggs likely crushed the appeal that Brown had in fantasy football. The Bills gave up a first, fourth, fifth, and sixth-round pick for Diggs (and a seventh rounder). That's a lot. The fact that there will be no preseason certainly helps Brown, as he has experience and chemistry with Josh Allen, as well as knowing the offense. Here's the crazy part about Brown last year: He hit WR3 or better numbers in 73.3 percent of his games, which ranked 11th in the league. He only hit WR2 or better numbers in 26.7 percent of his games, which ranked 51st in the league. Now start removing targets to get Diggs his, and we suddenly lose some of that WR3 floor that he had. He is a good football player who just won't get enough targets to start on a consistent basis. Now, if Diggs were to miss any time, we could go back to playing him as a low-end WR2/high-end WR3. Until then, Brown is in the WR4 range for me.
Frank Bonincontri
Fantasy Wire HQ
I am not worried about Joe Burrow getting him the ball. Boyd is the least talked about WR in fantasy and usually overlooked but his 90 receptions and 1,000+ yards in 2019, he should most certainly have your attention for 2020
Rob Wilson
The Fantasy Footballers
AJ Green has not stayed healthy, Boyd is another great pick as the likelihood Green misses time is high.
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
Boyd had a career year in 2019 totaling 90 receptions, 1,046 yards, and five TDs. Both the receptions and yardage were career-highs. His only issue was getting in the end-zone, Joe Burrow should make that a lot easier. Even if A.J. Green manages to stay healthy, Boyd can still finish as a high-end WR3/low-end WR2.Brown had a solid 2019 season eclipsing 1,000 yards but was unlucky in the TD department finishing with only six. Now, the Bills have added Stefon Diggs to the receiving room which doesn't bode well for Brown. Both Brown and Diggs make their money on the deep ball and there are only so many of those targets to go around. I don't see him being consistent enough to be trusted as a weekly starter but he's still worth a roster spot.
Kevin Wheeler
Draftwize
Boyd 2018 16 game pace (played 13.5): 128 targets, 90 receptions, 1218 receiving yards, 8 TDs 2019 Non-Ryan Finley 16 game pace (played 13): 156 targets, 96 receptions, 1085 receiving yards, 5 TDs. @FF_RyanB Tyler Boyd gets a lot of targets, but they have been lower leverage for fantasy points. @LordReebs
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Brown was 22nd in WR targets last season, was 31st in true target value (brotofantasy.com), and finished 20th in FPPG. He over-performed last season and may see less work with Diggs in town. With that said, this risk is currently baked into his ADP.
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
Boyd has plenty of competition for targets this season, but this offense is going to be among the league's best. There should be plenty of scoring opportunities for Boyd and he's a steal at his current ADP. He's a fantastic WR2/WR3 option for your roster.Brown was fantastic last season, but he's going to see a bit of regression this year with the addition of Stefon Diggs to the offense. Diggs is going to command targets, which limits Brown's overall ceiling. He's nothing more than a WR3/FLEX option this season that has the potential to win you a week with one or two big plays.

Burrow's addition is huge, and Green's return isn't as disastrous as many might think, since Boyd is at his most dangerous when feasting upon No.2 corners. A near lock to go underappreciated in drafts, and could outpace Green if he develops the better immediate rapportIs about to EAT number two corners with Diggs drawing away premium defensive attention, even if the volume takes a slight hit

I might be in the minority but barely putting up 1000 yards on 150 targets is more of a caution for me than anything. QB play was bad, no doubt. Think he is more of a complimentary piece in an offense That can be Jarvis Landry like at best. Not a bad thing to be, but I think his athleticism caps him.Can be a perfectly fine fill in as your NFL team's WR1 but it isn't the roll he's best suited for. Even filling that roll this year he wasn't a clear target hog. Will most likely get pushed to second fiddle when the draft comes along but I think that effects his perceived fantasy value more than his actual worth. Can still get around 100 targets and be flexy.
