Brandon Funston
The Athletic
Thanks to a nagging injury, he failed to launch in his rookie season. But he's still a big-time talent (big, strong, fast enough) with a go-to opportunity in an offense that will be much less "exotic smashmouth" under HC LaFleur, who has learned under Kyle Shanahan and Sean McVay, two pretty good mentors, I'd say
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Davis is someone I compared to Brandon Marshall during last year's draft process, and after watching him throughout the 2017 season, my expectations haven't changed. He didn't develop any chemistry with Marcus Mariota until playoff time, where he caught nine passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns in their two games. He's still yet to "prove it," so you don't want to go all-in, but the potential is there for a top-15 season. Him going in and out of camp with all these little injuries are worrisome, but every time he's on the field, we hear about how him and Mariota are "on the same page."Don't just automatically assume that just because Edelman is returning to the field, that he's going to be the same player. He's now 32 years old and coming off a torn ACL last preseason. It's not to say he can't return and produce, but he finished as the WR22 while playing all 16 games in his age-30 season. A lot of the targets have evaporated in the Patriots offense and you have to figure that Edelman will still get every opportunity to succeed, so you don't want to write him off completely. He's obviously someone who would benefit in a PPR format. He's now been suspended for the first four games, so it's going to be difficult to hang on to him because the first month is the most important time to acquire waiver wire players. He shouldn't be drafted as a top-50 wide receiver at this point.

QB List
The "sleeper pick" of many fantasy sites this year, Davis was downright atrocious last year for the Titans. He posted only 34 receptions, 375 yards, and not a single tuddy to go along with a near Amari Cooper level 52.3 % catch rate. But hold on folks, there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Why you might ask? Because only 44 of Davis' 65 targets were deemed catchable (courtesy of playerprofiler.com), and because lets hear it from the back folks DAVIS WAS A ROOKIE. Hype does not help accelerate a rookie's acclimation to the level of play of the NFL, nor does it help Marcus Mariota throw accurate passes on bum legs. However, a full offseason of rest and training does! Look for Davis to rebound in a big way, though don't get run over by the hype train as Tennessee is still a run first offense.Consistently a security blanket for Brady and without a clear challenger for his role upon his return, Edelman could be the prime stash to win you your league this year if you have the luxury to do so. However, be warned: he is still coming off of an ACL injury and Belichick is known for being wildly inconsistent with his players' target share and time. All in all, just another lotto ticket for y'all.
Chet Gresham
WalterFootball
Davis has a lot of room to show his ability. He was an early draft pick, has plenty of ability and is on a team that is poised to put up a winning record. He will need to beat out the solid Rishard Matthews to become a consistent fantasy player, which is not at all out of the question but I like Matthews too much to just hand the WR1 over to Davis quite yet.Edelman will miss the first four games, which is a big chunk of the fantasy season.
Andrew Gould
FantasyPros
Davis went the entirety of his rookie season without finding the end zone until scoring twice in an AFC Divisional Round loss to New England. He mustered just 3.1 catches for 34.1 yards per game, but drafters continue to anticipate a breakout (WR27 ADP) from 2017's No. 5 overall pick. Recovering from a hamstring injury this time last year, he's instead fighting to earn his keep in Tennessee's training camp. The sky is still the limit. A slight discount would have been nice, though. If missing all of 2017 with a torn ACL wasn't enough to curtail his stock, Edelman's return must wait until he serves a four-game suspension for a PED violation. Extend 2016's 14.4 PPR PPG to a dozen bouts, and his 172.8 points would have made him last year's WR30. That's right around his WR31 ADP, so the price barely bakes in any risk of a 32-year-old possession receiver returning from a major knee injury.
Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Corey Davis was never right with injuries last year, he has been a star in OTAs and with a new coaching staff, I think he has WR2 upside.
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Davis has great size and ball skills but Mariota looked back in 2017. Hopefully they can progress together. Either way, he's one of my favorite WR sleepers
Kevin Wheeler
NFL Mock
NE moved on from Welker at age 32. Edelman will be 32, off knee surgery/suspension. I like the odds JMatt takes the slot and doesn't give it back. @ClutchFantasy
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Davis was inefficient last year and that is putting it lightly. If that is all you see, however, you will miss out on a potential WR2. He wasn't healthy to learn the playbook and work with his QB in the pre-season, then he dominated in the playoffs. Let's not forget that he was drafted in the top 10 picks last season either.Edelman is suspended for the first four games of the season, so his draft stock has fallen, but when he is on the field, he always gives low-end WR2 type numbers. If you can afford to play without him for the first four weeks then you might want to make him a target.
