Lineups
Kevin Stefanski's offense is built to utilize versatile running backs in various ways, especially in the passing game. Enter Kareem Hunt. The former Chiefs' running back is more talented than a solid chunk of starters in this league and it will be hard to keep him off the field. I anticipate a lot of plays with Chubb and Hunt on the field together with Hunt even playing a good amount of slot receiver. Stefanski is a creative offensive mind who finds ways to get his best players the ball. Hunt will be an all-purpose weapon for this team and it will translate to great fantasy value.Bruce Arians has just never fully bought in on Ronald Jones. As a holdover from the prior regime, Arians has kept Jones on a tight leash for the past two years. He was expected to become the starting running back for the Bucs' offense, but the team drafted Ke'Shawn Vaugh and signed LeSean McCoy and Leonard Fournette. I still believe in Jones's talent, but with all of the mouths to feed in the backfield, it will be difficult to take any Tampa running back before the double-digit rounds. Jones is still my favorite target of the bunch but it's a hazy situation.

Although Nick Chubb is Cleveland's starting back, Hunt has fantasy value after racking up 37 catches while averaging 10 touches per game in 2019 after returning from his eight-game suspension for having violated the NFL's personal-conduct policy.
Bart Wheeler
Hail to Fantasy Football
He was a target for me before the Fournette signing, and now he's nearly out of my top-40 RBs.
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
Hunt should have some standalone value in 2020, but his true value comes if something were to happen to Nick Chubb. With where he's being drafted right now, Hunt would be an absolute league winner in that scenario. The Bucs have shown us all offseason that they're not fully confident that Jones can be THE guy. They're in win now mode with Tom Brady behind center, which means that they don't want any potential weak spots on their roster. They did the smart thing from a team building perspective and brought in Leonard Fournette just mere days away from the start of the 2020 NFL season. This effectively crushes Jones' upside this season and he is now moved down to RB4 territory. While I do think Jones will hold onto the job for the first few weeks of the season, due to Fournette not even knowing the scheme or what number he's wearing yet, he'll lose it eventually. He'll be part of a committee and he'll have some bench stash appeal in fantasy, but all of the hope for Jones breaking out this season is essentially gone now.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Kareem Hunt returns to the best backfield committee in the NFL likely to remain behind stud RB Nick Chubb. He will however remain the main passing back and that will be valuable as Chubb rarely sees the field when the Browns are chasing quick points. Given they've had three winning seasons in the last 30 years, that could continue to be a common site. Hunt also has enormous handcuff upside but he's very much a startable RB even with Chubb around. The Browns appear to be doubling down on the run and Hunt can expect to see 10-15 high value touches each week. That means borderline RB2 value if he can swing the committee towards 50-50 and flex upside if Chubb remains the main man. Draft the former Chief over every backup or low level starter in the league as his upside will win you your league.Ronald Jones had a disappointing sophomore season, splitting carries with reliable plodder Peyton Barber and struggling with pass-protection. Nevertheless, there were positive signs for the 22-year-old as he started to establish himself with a couple of 100+ yard performances to end the season. Sadly, the Buccs have muddied the waters by drafting Ke'Shawn Vaughn and bringing in LeSean McCoy and more recently, Leonard Fournette. That makes RoJo very hard to trust this season. This is a backfield worth avoiding until the very late rounds.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Jones' value was ascending right up until the Bucs signed Leonard Fournette, after which it dropped significantly. Fournette's contract suggests he's going to see (or at least he signed expecting to see) significant playing time, which likely moves him into a rough timeshare with Jones. Both Fournette and Jones can be drafted as Flexes, but Jones is more likely to contribute earlier in the season while Fournette gets comfortable with the offense. Draft Jones if you need someone immediately, but Fournette if you're taking a longer-term view.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
The Browns are going to have a new offense in 2020, so we can't automatically assume that Hunt will be as big as he was in the gameplanning process in 2020. From the time he entered the lineup last year, he was the No. 26 running back in half-PPR formats while Nick Chubb was the No. 18 running back. The reason we have to assume he'll have a role is due to the Browns tendering him with a second rounder instead of moving on. Chubb is the superior play in this backfield, but it's important to note that Hunt has standalone value, while also offering league-winning handcuff value. If Chubb were to miss time, Hunt would be a top-five play.We heard the Bucs say all offseason that Jones was their guy. We didn't even hear about them meeting with any of the free agent running backs. Then we heard the name Keshawn Vaughn in the third round, creating a problem for Jones. When teams select a running back on Day 2, it's typically to play them right out of the gate, even if it's not a clear-cut loss of the job for Jones. No matter which way you slice it, he has some new and improved competition. Another update: The Bucs signed Leonard Fournette after he was cut by the Jaguars, adding uncertainty to Jones' draft stock. He may get the first snap, but this reeks of a timeshare, similar to the one that Jones and Peyton Barber had last year.
Kevin Wheeler
Draftwize
Instead of a bravado-filled statement about challenging Nick Chubb for No. 1 duties, Hunt said he understood what his 2020 role is going to be. "They run a lot of two backs," Hunt said of new coach Kevin Stefanski's system. "I see myself just coming in and being a 1-2 (punch). You know, Nick and I just coming in and taking over the game every week." Hunt is worthy of a three-down role in the NFL, but Chubb has emerged as one of the league's best pure running talents over the past two years. I imagine their touches will be close to a 55/45 split, with Hunt getting most of the receptions between the two.Jones tallied a strong 10.0 yards per catch on his 31 receptions. Pro Football Focus graded him just 73rd among all RBs in receiving. He fared better by Football Outsiders metrics, though, ranking 17th in DVOA and 20th in DYAR among 50 qualifying backs. PFF liked his rushing better, grading Jones 43rd at the position. FO had him 24th among 45 qualifiers in rushing DVOA, though at a rate below average-level performance. Fantasy wise, Jones ranked 35th in PPR points per game. @SchaufDS

Will function as de facto Wr3 for the Browns, Premium security blanket to Nick ChubbHe's the starter, whether you agree with it or not. Low ceiling RB3 selection

Great talent who we saw finish as a top 20 RB since returning to action last year. Saw receiving work that decrease with Hooper coming in. Takes an injury to Chubb for him to reach his upside, but has solid standalone value.Jones was a great RB prospect coming out. Was efficient last year and was very good as a receiver. 6/7 other RBs to have over 7.5 YPT on 35 targets at either 21or 22 went on to have a top 5 RB finish at some point in their career. Lots of upside here.

Even with Nick Chubb slated to be the starter in Cleveland, I still believe Hunt will carry stand-alone value in 2020. During his eight games in 2019, Hunt saw over five targets a game with just over five carries as well. Now that he's in his 2nd year with the Browns, both of those numbers should go up making him an intriguing option, especially in PPR leagues.Jones began to show flashes of potential as the season progress last year and now in a revamped Bucs offense, he has legitimate upside. While there is upside, there are also plenty of risks involved in this pick. The Bucs just spent a 3rd-round pick on Ke'Shawn Vaughn as well as signing veteran LeSean McCoy. I think it's going to come down to Jones versus Vaughn and whoever wins should have legitimate fantasy value.

Hunt has absolute league winning potential if Chubb were to miss time, and is a trustworthy Flex and fringe RB2 with Chubb. Averaged 10 looks a game once he joined Cleveland in 2019 and averaged double digit points in ppr leagues. He is a tremendous option at his current ADP. Has the floor and sky hiigh ceiling.

Hunt showed well in the second half of the season with 464 yards from scrimmage and 3 touchdowns as a receiving back and change of pace to RB Nick Chubb. He should be a flex option if he can maintain that production over an entire season.

Unfortunately, remains with the Browns and trapped in an RBBC with Chubb. He was highly used in the passing game last year, but this offense is also far run-heavier under Stefanski. Would be Top-Five weekly if Chubb gets hurt, and carries standalone value, thus the ultimate "handcuff with benefits" and one of the few No.2 RBs you can start wekly.Emerged from the NFL Draft less scathed than anticipated. He might lose the job to Rookie Vaughn, but as of now Jones also could remain a three-down guy in one of the NFL's highest powered offenses.

Was pacing for 74 receptions, that's James White level with a better YAC ability than White, and better chance at gaining rushing attempts.
