Lineups
Packers' fans likely weren't thrilled about their team's lack of any meaningful additions in the passing game, but it means Davante Adams is in for another year of massive utilization. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Allen Lazard, Marcedes Lewis - these are fine players but nobody who's going to be stealing work from Adams. If he plays all 16 games, there's no way he gets fewer than 150 targets.
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
Adams may lead the league in targets when this season is all said and done. There are very few other imposing weapons on Green Bay and Rodgers trust Adams. He's a lock for 160-plus targets if he can stay healthy and 10 touchdowns isn't out of the realm of possibilities. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Adams finished the season as the No. 1 fantasy WR.While I wasn't a huge fan of Allen's outlook to begin the offseason, the Mike Williams injury has forced me to adjust course. Allen will be THE main guy in this WR room to start the first part of the season and he should easily become Taylor's most trusted target. With that being said, that doesn't mean that I'm comfortable drafting Allen as a top-20 receiver. Right now, Allen lands at WR24 in my season long rankings.

Expect Adams to continue to line up all over the formation in head coach Matt LaFleur's offense. The slot was the key position in Green Bay's passing game in 2019, and Adams will likely end up once again getting the bulk of his reps there. After having started his NFL career with a pair of underwhelming seasons, he has established himself as one of the NFL's top receivers.Fantasy owners spent a two-year period starting in 2015 speculating about the numbers Allen would post if he could remain healthy for an entire season. The answer turned out to be in the neighborhood of 100 catches and 1,260 yards, which is roughly what Allen averaged over the past three seasons. Expect his 2020 production to suffer from the departure of QB Philip Rivers.
Dalton Kates
APEX Fantasy Leagues
Legit chance to lead the league in targets. Top TD threat makes up for lack of yards. Potential career year incoming at his peak age.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
I'm convinced that because Adams missed part of the 2019 season, many don't realize just how consistent he's been over the last few years. He's played 27 games over the last two years, and he's scored 16-plus PPR points in 23 of them. The Packers didn't add a wide receiver in the draft, so it's not likely his massive target-share is going away. He's the only other receiver who should be considered close to Michael Thomas in drafts.Did you know Allen hasn't topped six touchdowns in any of the last six seasons? That's despite Philip Rivers throwing at least 28 touchdowns in five of them. He's a phenomenal route runner, but not the go-up-and-get-it receiver you'll fall in love with in the red zone. The move to Tyrod Taylor is likely going to be a tough one for Allen, as Taylor will lack pass attempts in comparison to Rivers. Even if we were to say the Chargers threw the ball 500 times (Taylor's career-high is 437 attempts), that's still a massive decrease from the 597 times they threw the ball in 2019. Taking away 97-plus targets will be felt throughout the depth chart, especially when you don't score a lot of touchdowns. It does help that the Chargers receiving corps is very top heavy with Allen and Mike Williams, though. Still, it's likely there'll be less than 250 targets between the Chargers receivers, so Allen isn't getting close to the 149 targets he got in 2019. Realistically, he's likely to be in the 110-120 target range. That's still enough for low-end WR2/high-end WR3 numbers, but don't expect the same Allen whose been relied upon as a borderline WR1 anymore.
Frank Bonincontri
Fantasy Wire HQ
Misses 4 games last season and still a monster year for him. Lock Adams in again for 2020 and with a more balanced offense, he could really dial up some big playsHow scared are you with Tyrod throwing him the ball? What about with Herbert? Do WR1's drop off when the QB leaves? Only you can decide on draft day and im hoping someone else has selected him so I don't have to answer that!
Rob Wilson
The Fantasy Footballers
The lone man in the Packers passing attack. You'd be hard pressed to find a more reliable pick in fantasy footballThe LAC offense should play at a slower pace, but Allen is an elite route runner. He could be a steal if they allow Tyrod to play at a faster tempo.
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
When on the field, there isn't a more consistent WR in all of fantasy football than Davante Adams. Over the last two years, Adams played in 27 games, he scored 16+ PPR points in 23 of them. Additionally, the Packers did not add any competition at WR this offseason which should only mean more targtes for Adams.Allen has always been known for his consistency, especially in PPR formats with Philip Rivers targeting him all game long. Now, for the first time, Allen will be catching passes from someone other than Rivers. That has me nervous about his overall 2020 outlook. He still has a shot at finishing as a WR2 but I don't see much upside for Allen in 2020.
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
Could also push for NFL target lead - turf toe led to 4 DNPs, 1st sub-10 TD effort (5) since 2015, but 2020 Alpha status cemented with 4 TDs, 122 YPG in final 5 games (inc. playoffs)
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
I grant that I'm nitpicking numbers here but. at the end of the day, Davante Adams has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards just one time in his career. While he's uber consistent on the field, he has trouble staying on it. You know what you're getting with Adams, but history says he won't get to his ceiling.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
The only reason Adams slipped in fantasy was four missed games with turf toes that derailed his fantasy season. He is still an elite fantasy option and he should rebound at 28-years old in 2020.Allen had another strong, but inconsistent season with 1,215 yards from scrimmage and 6 touchdowns. I do not have a lot of hope for him if QB Tyrod Taylor remains the starter, that would make him a boom / bust WR3. Rookie Justin Herbert has a better arm than Taylor, but his inexperience would hurt Allen's value too.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Davante Adams was the WR1 for a lot of people last year and very little has changed. Adams was excellent when he was healthy, he still has Aaron Rodgers and absolutely no competition for targets so there's no reason he can't compete for the WR1 title again. The main reason for caution is the desire of Matt LaFleur to run more, but the Packers will still need to throw a heap and Adams has a sensationally high floor. Lock him in as a mid-round 1 pick with huge upside.Keenan Allen has been extraordinarily consistent over the last three years, locked into 100 receptions, 1200 yards and 6 TDs. That was good enough for a WR8 finish in half-PPR last year but it was a down year for receivers. In 2020 he gets a new QB in Tyrod Taylor and possibly at some stage Justin Herbert. It's not clear exactly how this will affect Allen's volume but I'd suggest it won't make as much difference as many think. I anticipate a solid top 12 season, higher in PPR, with the upside for more if things really click. He's a great value pick as he's going as the WR20 late in the fourth round.

Has been on the verge of disappointing on his ADP multiple seasons, might just do it this year when he can't complain to Phil for targets, for a late season surge. Tyrod's leading WR stat line in CLE: 15 targets, 7/106 7 targets, 5/69 That concludes our sample haha. He's never had more than 3100 passing yards or 436 attempts in a season so someone is underperforming if Herbert doesn't step in, and then we're relying on a rookie QB, so...
