Lineups
Robert Woods is consistently one of the most underappreciated players in fantasy football. He's surpassed 130 targets each of the past two seasons and could be headed for a career-high mark after the departures of Brandin Cooks and Todd Gurley. Woods is a consistent force, particularly in PPR leagues as in 10 of his 15 games last year, he had 9+ targets. I don't expect any two-tight end schematic shifts to impact Kupp's usage, but if it does, Woods would have a bit of added upside in the target department. I know it's not exciting to draft Woods, but you'll be happy to have a consistent plug-and-play guy who will rarely if ever lose you a week.
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
Over the back half of 2019, Woods was a WR1 and gave you some huge performances. This offense doesn't appear set to change from what was working for them at the end of last season, which indicates that Woods is in line for another huge season. Calvin Ridley may be the best overall value in redraft AP right now, but Woods is a close second. While I wasn't a huge fan of Allen's outlook to begin the offseason, the Mike Williams injury has forced me to adjust course. Allen will be THE main guy in this WR room to start the first part of the season and he should easily become Taylor's most trusted target. With that being said, that doesn't mean that I'm comfortable drafting Allen as a top-20 receiver. Right now, Allen lands at WR24 in my season long rankings.
Draft Engine
Draft Engine
Woods enjoyed the most productive season of his six-year NFL career in 2018, setting career-high marks in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns. While he reached 90 receptions last season for the first time in his career, his production slipped in the yardage and scoring departments. His two receptions on plays run inside the 10-yard line ranked fifth on the Rams in '19.Fantasy owners spent a two-year period starting in 2015 speculating about the numbers Allen would post if he could remain healthy for an entire season. The answer turned out to be in the neighborhood of 100 catches and 1,260 yards, which is roughly what Allen averaged over the past three seasons. Expect his 2020 production to suffer from the departure of QB Philip Rivers.
John Hesterman
Dynasty League Football
Annually undervalued, Robert Woods represents a high target floor, solid and consistent production, and we should all be expecting more than the pair of receiving touchdowns he managed last season. The Rams moving to more 12-Personnel ensures he is not leaving the field despite the package. Woods has a WR2 fllor with WR1 upside.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Despite scoring just two touchdowns last year, Woods was able to finish as the No. 17 wide receiver. Why do we continually doubt that his production will continue? Under Sean McVay, he's been a WR2 or better in 21-of-43 games, which is the same as Tyreek Hill. He may not have the upside that Hill does, but as a WR2 on your team, he's gold.Did you know Allen hasn't topped six touchdowns in any of the last six seasons? That's despite Philip Rivers throwing at least 28 touchdowns in five of them. He's a phenomenal route runner, but not the go-up-and-get-it receiver you'll fall in love with in the red zone. The move to Tyrod Taylor is likely going to be a tough one for Allen, as Taylor will lack pass attempts in comparison to Rivers. Even if we were to say the Chargers threw the ball 500 times (Taylor's career-high is 437 attempts), that's still a massive decrease from the 597 times they threw the ball in 2019. Taking away 97-plus targets will be felt throughout the depth chart, especially when you don't score a lot of touchdowns. It does help that the Chargers receiving corps is very top heavy with Allen and Mike Williams, though. Still, it's likely there'll be less than 250 targets between the Chargers receivers, so Allen isn't getting close to the 149 targets he got in 2019. Realistically, he's likely to be in the 110-120 target range. That's still enough for low-end WR2/high-end WR3 numbers, but don't expect the same Allen whose been relied upon as a borderline WR1 anymore.

The volume is there, the departure of Brandin Cooks helps, hoping there can be more TD's for 2020How scared are you with Tyrod throwing him the ball? What about with Herbert? Do WR1's drop off when the QB leaves? Only you can decide on draft day and im hoping someone else has selected him so I don't have to answer that!

Woods is the model of consistency, has remained in the 5th forever. Won't win you many weeks, but if he plays in most offensive packages the Ying to Cooper Kupp's Yang, he has WR2 potential with ease. The LAC offense should play at a slower pace, but Allen is an elite route runner. He could be a steal if they allow Tyrod to play at a faster tempo.

Robert Woods is the definition of consistency. Week in and week out you know what you're getting from Woods and fantasy football that's an incredibly valuable trait. He may not have WR1 upside, but you won't find a better WR2.Allen has always been known for his consistency, especially in PPR formats with Philip Rivers targeting him all game long. Now, for the first time, Allen will be catching passes from someone other than Rivers. That has me nervous about his overall 2020 outlook. He still has a shot at finishing as a WR2 but I don't see much upside for Allen in 2020.

Woods is the most underappreciated WR year in and year out. He is the Rams WR1.

FantasyPros
There is a pretty big disconnect between what the average fantasy football player thinks about Woods and what the expert consensus thinks about him, with the latter being significantly higher. Woods scored just three touchdowns last year but there is bound to be positive regression, and he's seen at least 130 targets in each of the last two years. With Brandin Cooks gone, and with how Woods came on toward the second half of the season, he's much closer to a WR1 than fantasy managers are giving him credit for.

FantasyPros
Woods was solid with 1,249 yards from scrimmage, but he had only 3 touchdowns. He is a WR3 with his nice yardage totals, but he does not score enough touchdowns to be in the WR2 discussion.Allen had another strong, but inconsistent season with 1,215 yards from scrimmage and 6 touchdowns. I do not have a lot of hope for him if QB Tyrod Taylor remains the starter, that would make him a boom / bust WR3. Rookie Justin Herbert has a better arm than Taylor, but his inexperience would hurt Allen's value too.

Woods is the most underrated WR1 in the league this offseason. He's basically guaranteed to go at least 85/1100/5, has more upside than that with the departure of Cooks, never steps off the field no matter what personnel the Rams decide to use (the same can not be said for Kupp), and will likely score more TDs this season as Jared Goff had SEVEN different passing plays end up at the one-yard line last season. I will have Woods on all of my teams at his current ADP.

I've been on the Robert Woods hype train all off-season and it seems to finally be gaining momentum. He finished WR17 despite only scoring 2 TDs and a couple of very poor games plus a mid-season injury. TD regression should happen though that's never been his strength and for that reason, he's a great PPR option and a solid option in other modes given his late fourth-round cost.Keenan Allen has been extraordinarily consistent over the last three years, locked into 100 receptions, 1200 yards and 6 TDs. That was good enough for a WR8 finish in half-PPR last year but it was a down year for receivers. In 2020 he gets a new QB in Tyrod Taylor and possibly at some stage Justin Herbert. It's not clear exactly how this will affect Allen's volume but I'd suggest it won't make as much difference as many think. I anticipate a solid top 12 season, higher in PPR, with the upside for more if things really click. He's a great value pick as he's going as the WR20 late in the fourth round.

Robert Woods finished as the WR14 in PPR leagues last year with 140 targets /90 rec /1134 yards/2 TDs. With no Cooks and positive TD regression, Woods may be in for his first top-10 season of his career. He had just 2 TDs on 90 receptions which made him WR14 in 2019. Woods has also avg'd 18 carries / 136 yards / 1 TD the past two years. @amazehayes_ Woods has caught at least 85 balls, gone over 1,100 yards, and has seen 130+ targets in back-to-back seasons. @grahamBarfield

Became 1 of just 5 WRs in NFL history to catch 90 passes with 2 TD catches or less in 2019 - heavy target share, plus TD regression offers backend WR1 upside

Has quietly led the team in targets back to back years. PPG Rank(minimum of 10 games) 2019 - 18th 2018 - 15th 2017 - 17thHas always found a way to gobble up targets. Won't get a firm rank on him until a QB decision but appears to be a safe WR2. Has been on the verge of disappointing on his ADP multiple seasons, might just do it this year when he can't complain to Phil for targets, for a late season surge. Tyrod's leading WR stat line in CLE: 15 targets, 7/106 7 targets, 5/69 That concludes our sample haha. He's never had more than 3100 passing yards or 436 attempts in a season so someone is underperforming if Herbert doesn't step in, and then we're relying on a rookie QB, so...
