Kevin Wheeler
The Draft Zone
2020 Stat Line: 96 Targets, 60 Receptions, 748 Yards, 5 Touchdowns, 6 Rushing Attempts, 77 Yards. He was a bust in 3 of the four games with both Deebo and Kittle on the field.

Hail to Fantasy Football
What if Golladay is this year's Stefon Diggs? It'll take a leap for Daniel Jones, but not many thought Josh Allen would take that step as a passer (and he did). Kenny G feels like the guy this year who will fall in your draft and at some point you have to take him with the value he'll bring. And he could end up as a top-5 WR if Danny Dimes even improves a little bit.
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
There's a lot of hype right now surrounding Kenny Golladay and it's easy to understand why that's the case. He's an incredibly talented receiver and he just signed a massive contract with the New York Giants in free agency. However, once you sit down and really assess the situation around him, it's difficult to get too excited. Golladay now joins an absolutely crowded offense with a lot of mouths to feed, which instantly puts a cap on his projected ceiling. With Saquon Barkley, Darius Slayton, Sterling Shepard, Kadarius Toney, Evan Engram, Kyle Rudolph, and Devontae Booker all in the mix for targets, Golladay is going to have to be ultra efficient with his opportunity to make an impact for fantasy football. In my opinion, Golladay is more of a low-end WR2 than anything else. You're buying into Daniel Jones taking a massive step forward if you trust Golladay as anything more than that. My Very Early Projection: 64-1087-7Aiyuk stepped into a majority role in Week 4 of last season. From a Fantasy Points Per Game perspective, Aiyuk was the WR15 from Weeks 4-16! While Samuel and Kittle being in and out of the lineup certainly helped him reach that status, Aiyuk was dominant as a rookie. Heading into 2021, the 49ers are going to experience a change at QB at some point during the season. With Lance's skillset, Aiyuk could potentially breakout in a big way this upcoming season. He'll have to do it on the back of high efficiency, as he's not going to see the type of volume that other receivers in the league will, but he has the talent to maximize his opportunity. He might not have top-12 upside due to the volume concerns, but Aiyuk's going to deliver you some potential matchup-winning performances throughout the year. He's someone I'd be thrilled to get as a WR3 on my roster if his current ADP holds.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Going to a new team is never easy, especially for someone who's coming from a team that was lacking any depth of pass catchers. It was easy for him to get eight-plus targets per game, especially when Marvin Jones was hurt. Now going to the Giants, who have a bevy of options, including Sterling Shepard, Kadarius Toney, Darius Slayton, Evan Engram, Kyle Rudolph, and Saquon Barkley is going to be tough. To be fair, you don't go out in free agency and sign someone like Golladay to give him five targets per game, but he's not going to get the consistent targets he got in Detroit, and the targets he does get aren't going to be as efficient coming from Daniel Jones.Aiyuk is a tough one to crack, as he exploded onto the fantasy scene last year, finishing with 583 yards and four touchdowns over his final seven games, but there were factors that helped him achieve those numbers. The major ones being the injuries to George Kittle and Deebo Samuel. There were just four games where the trio were on the field together, and during that time, Aiyuk saw just 21 targets (the lowest of the three) and had 13/189/1 combined in those games. To be fair, it was from Week 4-7, so it was very early in Aiyuk's rookie season, so it's possible he just hadn't earned the trust yet. There's a wide range of outcomes in his projections, going as high as a top-15 wide receiver, but also as low as a wide receiver in the WR30-36 range. You want equity when drafting, so taking Aiyuk as anything more than a WR3 when Kittle and Samuel are healthy is risky.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Aiyuk had a very solid rookie season, with 60 catches for 748 yards. But his production came mostly when both Deebo Samuel and George Kittle were out of the lineup. That's not to take anything away from Aiyuk's talent - he can play outside or in the slot with ease (79% outside, 21% slot last year), and he's an excellent route-runner and fit for Kyle Shanahan's offense. He can and should be drafted as a borderline WR2. But the fact is that both Samuel and Kittle will command a significant target share, and the 49ers' quarterback situation is in flux. Aiyuk should be very solid this season, but unless there's an injury again to Samuel and/or Kittle, his upside is a bit capped.
Mark Ringo
Sleepers and Busts
Another talented player in a bad situation. The Giants offensive line isn't very good. The book is still out on Daniel Jones. And some of the defensive lines they play in the NFC East keep me up at night, especially Washington's. I just can't see Golladay lighting it up when Chase Young is mauling Daniel Jones on every play. Get me some WRs on high scoring teams instead. AvoidI expect Aiyuk to take a major jump in year 2. He started coming on late in the season. He's had a full offseason to get comfortable with the playbook. 2020 was brutal for rookies trying to learn plays with covid protocols. Aiyuk has some serious juice when he runs. He's great in the open field. Coach Shanahan also used him on running plays, which led to two TDs. This kid is going to be a good one. The comp scouts gave him coming out of college was Torry Holt. That's pretty good company to be in.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Golladay had an injury plagued year and he now joins a Giants team that is trying to develop Daniel Jones. Golladay is a low-upside WR2 to high-end WR3 playing with an inconsistent quarterback.Brandon Aiyuk was stellar with 154.5 fantasy points in 12 games playing with mostly backup quarterbacks. He has monster upside entering his second year.
Wolf of Roto Street
Roto Street Journal
Giants landing spot = mixed bag. Daniel Jones is a clear downgrade from Matt Stafford, but the path to Alpha WR1 volume is clear, especially in Jason Garrett's offense that has thrived with a monster X (Owens, Dez, Miles Austin)
