I was a big fan of Michael Carter in this 2021 pre-draft process and had him ranked as a top-5 RB. While he fell further in the NFL Draft than I was anticipating, he fell into a perfect landing spot for fantasy football. The Jets have an oft-injured Tevin Coleman above him on the depth chart and a second-year RB in La'Mical Perine that certainly doesn't have this job locked down by any means. With Carter's agility and explosiveness in this scheme, there's a strong possibility that he takes over this job a few weeks into the season. The Jets will rotate in RBs, so it's unlikely that Carter gets a massive workload, but he has the talent to capitalize on his opportunity. You might have to be patient for a bit if you end up drafting Carter in the mid/late rounds this year, but he could end up being a very solid contributor for your roster. My Very Early Projection: 165-791-5 rushing & 53-452-2 receiving.Drake signed a massive deal - for a RB - in free agency to come to Las Vegas, but he's certainly going to take a dip in production from what we've seen over the past couple of years. He'll be heavily involved as a receiver all over the formation in this offense, but it's unlikely to lead to consistent fantasy production week after week. Drake's now in the territory of a low-upside FLEX play that will need Jacobs to miss time with an injury to see his workload increase.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Don't sleep on Carter in redraft formats. The only player standing in his way of 15-plus touches is Tevin Coleman, who's played just 22-of-32 games the last two seasons. On top of that, he's never been efficient when asked to carry a heavy workload. Carter reminded me of Justin Forsett while scouting him. He does everything well, and though he's undersized, that shouldn't stop him from getting plenty of opportunity, especially in the passing game. The Jets are no longer an Adam Gase-led team. There's value to be had in this offense, and Carter is one of the best late-round values in fantasy football. The marriage between the Raiders and Drake is an odd one, as Drake was somewhat of a Josh Jacobs doppleganger last year. They both finished between 3.9 and 4.0 yards per carry, both scored double-digit rushing touchdowns, and both were extremely limited in the passing game. The Raiders have continually given guys like DeAndre Washington, Jalen Richard, and Devontae Booker work alongside Jacobs over the last two years, so Drake is going to get mixed in quite heavily, and my guess would be that the passing game is where he gets most of it. You may not remember, but Drake was considered a solid third-down back early in his career with the Dolphins, and has two seasons with 50-plus catches on his NFL resume. It's tough to see him eating into Jacobs' carry totals a whole lot, especially after the way he looked with the Cardinals in 2020, but he should offer low-upside flex value due to his work in the passing game.
Kevin Wheeler
The Draft Zone
He posted 3,345 yards (2,536 rushing) & 45 total touchdowns as a senior. Translated that into a great career at UNC, totaling 3,404 rushing yards, 656 receiving yards, & 28 total touchdowns in 44 games. @DMendy02

Gross spot behind a dismantled Raiders OL as Josh Jacobs' second-fiddle -- but projected out highly due to high receiving upside
Joe Pisapia
FantasyPros
Kenyan Drake started the season in a walking boot, but once he was healthy, he had a nice second half for the Cardinals, including some great work in the red zone. Now, he's in a bizarre time share with Josh Jacobs in Las Vegas and his role is pretty undefined at this point. The Raiders backfield is the poster child for why you take clear cut RB1's early. An injury to Jacobs could open up a huge opportunity for Drake, but for now it seems like a situation where no one is set up for fantasy success.
