Seeing him go mid-20s at RB in many drafts, which is silly - BAL offense is a juggernaut and Ingram likely to see 220+ touches and lucrative goal line work yet again
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Not many expecting Ingram to finish as an RB1 with Lamar Jackson under center, thinking he'd lose some of the goal-line carries to the mobile quarteback. Despite the fact that Ingram had more than 15 carries just twice all season, he finished as the No. 8 running back. We aren't banking on that happening again, especially when the Ravens drafted JK Dobbins in the second round of the NFL Draft. Ingram is going to be 31 years old this year, while Dobbins and Justice Hill have young, fresh legs. We could see Ingram lose a few carries a game, but provided he's healthy, we should still expect him to lead this timeshare and be a borderline RB2.During the scouting process, I felt like Vaughn was just a guy, not a difference maker. That's not to say he wouldn't be able to produce if given the opportunity, but I don't think opportunity will simply be given to him. Don't forget that David Johnson saw just 161 touches his rookie season under Bruce Arians, and that was while he was extremely efficient. Interestingly enough, he was also a third-round pick. This is a situation to monitor throughout the offseason.
Elliot Berkovits
Pack to the Future
Once again, Mark Ingram finds himself in a crowded backfield in Baltimore after the addition of rookie JK Dobbins. That being said, with no preseason games to be played, I don't expect Dobbins to be a factor early in the season which should give Ingram an opportunity to take control fo the lead role in Baltimore. How long he holds onto it is the question.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Mark Ingram was a shock fantasy stud in 2019, though he relied unsustainably on his 15 TDs. This included an incredible TD every five receptions. Now the supremely talented JK Dobbins joins the fun and it's scary for a guy that already had regression coming. That being said though, this offence had 596 rushes and Ingram had barely a third of them so there's plenty to go around. If the 41 RB receptions increase or the offence relies a little less on Lamar Jackson's designed runs, we may see an increase in Ingram's volume. While the offence's overall efficiency and Ingram's TD number will surely regress, there's still value here as a fourth round pick with RB1 upside.Ke'Shawn Vaughn is just a younger Peyton Barber (and at 23, not that much younger). There, I've said it, I just don't rate him. He's a poor pass protector, has average hands and doesn't do anything special with the ball. He'll get what's blocked for him and that's about it. I can see him joining RoJo, LeSean McCoy and Dare Ogunbowale in an ugly split and I imagine his production will struggle to even match Barber's RB40 finish last year. It's even possible he's hardly used at all. Don't buy into the hype, he's a strong pass for me.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Ingram had a great first year in Baltimore with 1,265 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns. The addition of J.K. Dobbins has a chance to hurt his fantasy value this year, making Ingram more of a RB2.
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
Ingram is going to be splitting this backfield with JK Dobbins this season, but he should still be the lead back. There are plenty of fantasy points for the running backs to go around in this offense though and Ingram is a fantastic selection at his current ADP.Ke'Shawn Vaughn in Tampa Bay is a dream fit. He's a Bruce Arians RB through and through and he's going to see the field immediately. Ronald Jones will still see some work, but Vaughn excels in both pass protection and pass catching and could walk in and assume the David Johnson role in this offense. He might not be able to put up the production that DJ did, but he's going to be a fantasy football star right out of the gates. He's a home-run pick at the back end of your first round/early 2nd round.
Kevin Wheeler
Draftwize
Ingram has a 4 million dollar salary which is very reasonable and a 5.3 million dollar cap hit if cut. Hard to see them moving on from him. There's a lot of hype around Vaughn (ADP: 75). Since 2000, only two 23-year-old rookie RBs, drafted in the 3rd round or later, have rushed for over 700 yards. @BraudeM
Seth Miller
Crossroads Fantasy Football
Back to back years as the number 1 rushing team. 15 TDs are unlikely to repeat but all the pieces are returning on offense. Should be able to retain RB2 value for 1 more year IF he can hold off Dobbins. There's a chance the timeshare becomes more lopsided by the end of the year.
