Zachary Hanshew
FantasyPros
Despite his age, the veteran still averaged a 72/769/5 receiving line over his last two seasons, but those numbers will likely decline in 2020 with the arrival of DeAndre Hopkins. Still, if Fitzgerald has anything left in the tank for his swan song, he could be a useful bye-week fill-in, especially if Christian Kirk fails to take the next step forward.
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
Will Larry Fitzgerald ever retire? I hope not. Even at age 36, he will always be the safety net for Kyler Murray to look towards. The addition of DeAndre Hopkins certainly doesn't help, but having a guy like Fitzgerald on your bench is a worthwhile investment. The Cardinal offense should score a ton of points and it can't all go to Hopkins.Mims had a surprising fall on draft day landing in New York with the Jets late in the 2nd round. He figures to be an immediate contributor in this offense, the question is, how good will this offense be? I'm not very confident, to say the least. I like his talent so keep an eye on his early in the season but he doesn't need to be drafted.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
It's season number 17 for Larry Fitzgerald and while he's clearly behind DeAndre Hopkins and probably Christian Kirk, in this high-powered offense, there's plenty to go around. He's not going to get the 109 targets he received last year, but he should still be a good bye week option given the projected strength of this offence. He's not someone I'll personally be drafting, but he's a fine safe option if that's what you need. The Jets have 154 wide receiver targets up for grabs. That's a lot of opportunities for Breshad Perriman and Denzel Mims to soak up. While Perriman is likely to lead the way on the outside, Mims certainly has a chance to make a possible impact in an offense screaming out for a playmaker. There is reason to pump the brakes though, as the abridged pre-season will make it even harder than usual for rookies to shine, especially given his hamstring injury in camp, plus Chris Herndon is back and could easily have a big role this season. Mims is hence little more than a dart throw, but one with huge upside.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Now entering his age-37 season, we kind of know what to expect from Fitzgerald. He did see a team-high 109 targets last year, and it's difficult to say his role changed much. He's going to be the safety valve over the middle of the field while DeAndre Hopkins and Christian Kirk work the perimeter. There were just six games that Fitzgerald broke the 50-yard barrier last year, so knowing he scored just four times, you understand the lack of upside despite his decent target share. Still, with Hopkins in the mix, that target share will certainly go down. Kyler Murray threw just 20 touchdown passes last year, so it was tough to expect more than the four that Fitzgerald scored. Even with a bump for Murray, it's tough to say the increased touchdown potential will make up for Fitzgerald's decreased target share. He's just a low-upside bye-week filler at this stage of his career. Even with an injury to someone like Hopkins or Kirk, we've already seen that scenario in 2019, and it wasn't more than a WR4-type.I like Mims, similar to the way I liked Michael Gallup coming into the league. Not that they're the same player, but rather people didn't know how good they were until they looked past the school they played for. Mims is a possession-style receiver who can stretch the field, as evidenced by his 4.38-second 40-yard dash he ran at the Combine. He should become a favorite of Sam Darnold in the red zone, as he plucks the ball out of the air with his strong mitts. He'll be battling with Breshad Perriman for targets on the perimeter, while Jamison Crowder remains the safety valve in the slot. Robby Anderson did see 96 targets last year while Demaryius Thomas saw 58 of them (in 11 games), so there's room for a fantasy producer. The issue is that Mims is a rookie who hasn't seen any preseason action and hasn't had much time to be around the team. The same can be said for Perriman, so there's a route to immediate production with Mims, though Adam Gase has not been friendly to perimeter wide receivers. Over the last four years, his top receivers were Jarvis Landry (twice), Danny Amendola, and Jamison Crowder... all slot receivers. It's best to be cautious with rookie wide receivers, especially this year, even if I like who Mims is as a player. Selecting him in one of the final rounds makes sense, as you'll find out what you have over the first two weeks and decide whether you want to cut bait or stick with him.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Mims is an extremely talented but raw wide receiver who would have had a difficult time making an impact this year given the lack of preseason games and truncated offseason and camp. But especially since he suffered a hamstring injury that appears likely to sideline him into the regular season (hence the Jets signing Chris Hogan), there's almost no chance he provides fantasy value in redraft leagues. No reason to consider him absent extremely deep leagues.
Michael Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
There is no reason not to throw a dart at the end of your draft with Denzel Mims. He is an absolute athletic freak that can run by defenders and jump out of the building. He has a path to playing time, and should be utilized from the jump in 2020.
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
Unfortunately for Fitzgerald, the addition of Deandre Hopkins to the Cardinals quashes his fantasy outlook for 2020. Fitzgerald will still be involved in the offense, but is nothing more than a WR4/WR5 this season.Denzel Mims could lead all rookie WRs in targets in 2020. While I'm not a fan of this offense with Adam Gase calling the shots, Mims has a tremendous opportunity this season. Darnold should look his way early and often, but the scoring upside is simply a huge question mark. Mims is a risky pick, and someone who I still believed had a lot of developing left to do before he hits his ceiling, but there's no denying that he's going to be given every opportunity to succeed with this WR corps.

Returning to the Cards at age 74. Would rather spend a late rounder to acquire a higher ceiling.

Led the team in targets because he was the only guy to stay healthy all year. I wonder if he continue to play 80%+ of the offensive snaps at age 37.. Has never had fewer than 100 targets.
