Career low 3 PDs in 2020. Was injured early in 2020 but was able to suit up for 15 games. His career-high 10 TFL in 2019 made up a large part of his overall impact plays that year and his career high 12 PDs in 2018 made up over half of his total impact plays his rookie season. A breakout could be looming if he can bring up his tackles number up closer to 130 and get back to being an impact player when healthy. - The Ultimate IDP Index

Edmunds has yet to live up to his first round draft status, grading out as a below average linebacker in each of his three seasons in the league. On the flip side, he's still just 23 years old and the team seems dedicated to him after they picked up his fifth year option. So he'll continue to see every down playing time, but I'd rather just draft his teammate Matt Milano several rounds later and likely get similar value. There's no more consistent fantasy producer in this tier than David. Over his nine-year career, he's largely avoided injury and hasn't really ever had a "down" season. He does have fantasy point hog Devin White to contend with but he's still playing at an elite level and generating points in a multitude of ways to retain LB2 status.
