The top spot is a fight between Bell and David Johnson this season, and I'm giving a slight edge to Bell. The Steelers should come back strong in 2017 and get some help back on offense, which should keep Bell in good spots all season long.I don't think Elliott will get the receptions he needs to pass Bell or Johnson, but his touchdown total has tremendous upside and could push him ahead of those two, especially in Non-PPR.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Had Le'Veon Bell been active for all 16 games, his pace would have put him at over 2,500 all purpose yards. Don't buy too much into the fact that he has several injuries, as all running backs inevitably will. Rather, consider that if he remains healthy, he will carry you to the playoffs.Sure, Zeke may end up suspended for a game or two, but assuming he stays healthy, he is still a clear cut top-three running back in the games he will be healthy. He may slip behind Brown, Beckham and Jones in first round ADP, but should still be drafted ahead of the likes of McCoy, Gordon and other running backs in the first.

With no injuries or suspensions to worry about, Bell could average 30 points per game in PPR leagues. Auction Value $52A possible short suspension drops Elliott down a tier. Auction Value $45

Bell is a monster but his contract issue and constant suspension/injury woes always concern me. That all still can't keep him from being a top 3 RB.The off field stuff is mildly concerning, but Zeke was a beast as a rookie and should be even better.

Le'Veon is either going to get a long-term deal before July 17 or be tagged with a 12.1 million franchise tender. Either way, he'll be out to remind everyone who the best running back in the league is. On a PPG basis you can't do better--but Bell comes with more injury risk than Johnson so he slides in at #2 for me.Zeke lead the NFL in carries (322) in 2016. With Lance Dunbar now a member of the Rams, Zeke should catch more passes in 2017. The Dallas offensive line did lose Doug Free (retirement) and Ronald Leary (Denver) but it still has three All-Pros and will remain one of the top units in the NFL. R-E-L-A-X.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
If Bell can stay on the field for all 16 games, it's quite possible that we see him break records. He's still yet to have a game in his NFL career with fewer than 7.8 PPR points. There's actually been just three of his 47 games with fewer than 10.9 PPR points. There are going to be two new starting offensive lineman in front of Elliott, but that shouldn't stop you from taking him as a top-three running back. He's a virtual lock for 300-350 touches.
Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
The Steelers gave the franchise tag to Bell, so he will be in Pittsburgh at least through 2017. The only reason I have him behind Elliot and Johnson is durability concerns and two prior suspensions under the league's substance abuse policy. Elliot had 1,631 yards rushing and 15 rushing touchdowns to go with 363 yards receiving and one receiving touchdown. Playing behind the best offensive line in the NFL, he should be the best back in fantasy in only his second NFL season.
