Lots of offense to go around, but a true three headed backfield now. I'll pass. I call him a JAG, just another guy. When the Broncos are ahead in games, he's great, but how often will that happen this season?
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
The Saints did add Adrian Peterson, but even last season with Hightower, the Saints were still able to support two solid fantasy running backs. Ingram should be started nearly every week even if he doesn't end up the head dog in the running back committee, and should AP go down, we are looking at a probable RB1.The Broncos did add Jamaal Charles, but he might not even make the roster. This is Anderson's offense and you'd better believe they will make him a workhorse as they did before his injury. It is worth mentioning that Denver's SOS was #1 toughest in the league before his injury, yet he was still performing like an RB2, and remember, he was a 1st round pick just a few seasons ago so the upside is clearly there.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Despite playing in a clear timeshare last year where he failed to see more than 18 carries in all but one game, Ingram finished as the No. 10 running back. Sure, Peterson is going to steal some work, probably slightly more than Tim Hightower did. But getting him as the 20th running back off the board is a steal.Anderson has averaged a massive 4.56 yards per carry in his career, while those around him over the last couple of years have totaled a measly 3.90 yards per carry with the team. The Broncos beefed up their offensive line this off-season via free agency (Former Cowboys guard Ron Leary) as well as using their first-round pick on tackle Garrett Bolles. The Broncos paid a lot of money to keep Anderson around last off-season.
Chet Gresham
WalterFootball
Ingram is quickly getting crowded out in this backfield despite still being the lead back. The additions of Adrian Peterson and rookie Alvin Kamara will make it tough for Ingram to reach his potential this season, but Peterson's health and Kamara's rookieness do keep me in Ingram's corner overall.Jamaal Charles has been added to this backfield, which makes things difficult, but I'll continue to side with Anderson, while Charles isn't even allowed to practice yet.
Staff Rankings
QB List
Ingram has been a perennial fantasy stud, but the arrival of Adrian Peterson has taken some shine off him, and he's priced accordingly. If you believe (as I do) that Peterson is washed up, then you should take a long hard look at Ingram.Anderson is a talented enough guy who is the victim of poor offensive play, injuries, and competition. Devontae Booker and the ghost of Jamaal Charles are waiting behind him and it looks like… wait… is that it? There's gotta be someone else, right? I mean, Charles won't be taking carries away from Anderson any time soon, and Booker struggled mightily when asked to carry the load in 2016 and is currently recovering from wrist surgery.) Anderson could represent some sneaky mid-round value.
Sablich Brothers
5th Down Fantasy
2016 first 1,000 plus rushing season, 5.1 YPC; finally added receiving TDs to the mix (4); top 10 in red zone touches for third year in a row; production came while Hightower took 133 carries, so hope remains despite Peterson signing. 4.0 YPC a career worst before season-ending injury in Week 7; team attempted to upgrade o-line; Charles's comeback attempt threatens value.
Kevin Wheeler
NFL Mock
He had a career year in most categories, but he won't get enough touches to be a RB1. "Mark Ingram fantastic job of setting up blocks on screen pass. Has really developed as pass catcher in recent years." https://twitter.com/MikeTriplett/status/891687370151669760 While this clip may not be jaw dropping, it is a perfect example of why he should be considered the most complete back on the Saints roster.I can't decide where to rank him, he doesn't stay healthy enough to draft him this high, but if he does he should be able to put up RB2 numbers regularly.
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Anderson could be a big value pick in drafts but the downside is obvious with Booker and Charles pressing for touches

Ingram is the back to own in New Orleans, as he will be more productive than the already washed up Peterson. Ingram had over 1,300 all purpose yards in 2016. The only thing stopping a repeat is Sean Payton. Auction Value $18 A torn meniscus shut down Anderson midway through 2016. This year he is part of a three-man backfield heading into camp. Auction Value $7
Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Ingram was the lead back in New Orleans this year, finishing with 1,043 yards rushing, 319 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns. He will lose more touches to veteran RB Adrian Peterson and rookie RB Alvin Kamara, so he is more of a RB3 this year.Anderson had a great start to the season, but tailed off and missed nine games due to injury. The Broncos did make some positive changes to the offensive line, he could have some upside in 2017 if he can stay healthy.
