Top 5 offensive line? Check. Top 5 run schedule? Check. So what could hold Murray back? Derrick Henry will split carries 50/50 with DeMarco this season in an effort to keep Murray fresh for the playoffs. Lots of offense to go around, but a true three headed backfield now. I'll pass.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Let's get it out of the way: Derrick Henry is a phenomenal young backup, but let's get real, this is DeMarco Murray we are talking about. Yes, he is older and has taken a beating with all of the carries, but he isn't losing the job unless an injury pops up. With Murray getting loads of touches behind a terrific offensive line, he is primed to put together another RB1 season. The Saints did add Adrian Peterson, but even last season with Hightower, the Saints were still able to support two solid fantasy running backs. Ingram should be started nearly every week even if he doesn't end up the head dog in the running back committee, and should AP go down, we are looking at a probable RB1.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
It was clear that Murray wore down as the season went on, averaging just 3.5 yards per carry over the final six weeks, after averaging 4.87 over the first 10 weeks. There was just one game all season in which he didn't touch the ball at least 16 times, so he should still be a low-end RB1 by default.Despite playing in a clear timeshare last year where he failed to see more than 18 carries in all but one game, Ingram finished as the No. 10 running back. Sure, Peterson is going to steal some work, probably slightly more than Tim Hightower did. But getting him as the 20th running back off the board is a steal.

WalterFootball
Murray isn't going anywhere just yet, even with Derrick Henry waiting in the wings. Murray does have a lot of mileage on his legs and could break down at some point, but until that happens, he will be the lead back.Ingram is quickly getting crowded out in this backfield despite still being the lead back. The additions of Adrian Peterson and rookie Alvin Kamara will make it tough for Ingram to reach his potential this season, but Peterson's health and Kamara's rookieness do keep me in Ingram's corner overall.

QB List
A proven talent on a run oriented team behind one of the best lines in football, Murray has a lot going for him. However, he is not alone. Like beautiful girl swimming in the moonlight, we can almost hear the orchestral music playing. Der-rick… Der-rick… Derrick Henry is a shark, and he's going to be the feature back in Tennessee. The only question is, when? We think 2018, when DeMarco Murray's guaranteed contractual money runs out. True, Murray did slow down a bit int he second half of 2016, and Henry did start to come on a bit, but at least for this year, smart money is on the entrenched starter, and this is a situation you want a piece of.Ingram has been a perennial fantasy stud, but the arrival of Adrian Peterson has taken some shine off him, and he's priced accordingly. If you believe (as I do) that Peterson is washed up, then you should take a long hard look at Ingram.
Sablich Brothers
5th Down Fantasy
Was top 10 among backs in rushing yards, red-zone carries; targets and receptions; played full season for just second time in career; O-line a huge strength; Henry waiting in wings. 2016 first 1,000 plus rushing season, 5.1 YPC; finally added receiving TDs to the mix (4); top 10 in red zone touches for third year in a row; production came while Hightower took 133 carries, so hope remains despite Peterson signing.
Brandon Funston
Fantasy Spin
Backup RB D. Henry is definitely a threat to take more touches from Murray in '17, but TEN was one of the most run-heavy teams in the NFL (406 RB rush attempts), so Murray although he might not reach 293 carries again, Murray should still be in a healthy 250 range, which still counts as a workhorse in this day and age (of the platoon)
Kevin Wheeler
NFL Mock
I expect some regression, but not much. Apparently he's a really good RB, or this O-line was underrated going into the season last year.He had a career year in most categories, but he won't get enough touches to be a RB1. "Mark Ingram fantastic job of setting up blocks on screen pass. Has really developed as pass catcher in recent years." https://twitter.com/MikeTriplett/status/891687370151669760 While this clip may not be jaw dropping, it is a perfect example of why he should be considered the most complete back on the Saints roster.
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Murray could be a beast again, or he could hit a wall. Derrick Henry breathing down his neck isn't ideal.

Murray is getting up there as far as running backs, but he will still be the lead dog in the Titans' exotic smash mouth offense. Auction Value $30 Ingram is the back to own in New Orleans, as he will be more productive than the already washed up Peterson. Ingram had over 1,300 all purpose yards in 2016. The only thing stopping a repeat is Sean Payton. Auction Value $18
Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Murray was a huge success in Tennessee with 1,287 yards rushing, 377 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns. He should be the lead back this year, but he needs to be handcuffed with second-year RB Derrick Henry, who should have a bigger role in the offense this year.Ingram was the lead back in New Orleans this year, finishing with 1,043 yards rushing, 319 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns. He will lose more touches to veteran RB Adrian Peterson and rookie RB Alvin Kamara, so he is more of a RB3 this year.
