Murray could be a beast again, or he could hit a wall. Derrick Henry breathing down his neck isn't ideal.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Let's get it out of the way: Derrick Henry is breathing down his neck and ready to claim the job for himself at the sign of first distress, but let's get real, this is DeMarco Murray we are talking about. Yes, he is older and has taken a beating with all of the carries, but he isn't losing the job unless an injury pops up. With Murray getting loads of touches behind a terrific offensive line, he is primed to put together another RB1 season. The Saints did add Adrian Peterson, but even last season with Hightower, the Saints were still able to support two solid fantasy running backs. Ingram should be started nearly every week even if he doesn't end up the head dog in the running back committee, and should AP go down, we are looking at a surefire RB1.

Murray isn't going anywhere just yet, even with Derrick Henry waiting in the wings. Murray does have a lot of mileage on his legs and could break down at some point, but until that happens, he will be the lead back.Ingram is quickly getting crowded out in this backfield despite still being the lead back. The additions of Adrian Peterson and rookie Alvin Kamara will make it tough for Ingram to reach his potential this season, but Peterson's health and Kamara's rookieness do keep me in Ingram's corner overall.

Murray is getting up there as far as running backs, but he will still be the lead dog in the Titans' exotic smash mouth offense. Auction Value $30 Ingram is the back to own in New Orleans, as he will be more productive than the already washed up Peterson. Ingram had over 1,300 all purpose yards in 2016. The only thing stopping a repeat is Sean Payton. Auction Value $18

NFL Mock
I expect some regression, but not much. Apparently he's a really good RB, or this O-line was underrated going into the season last year.He had a career year in most categories, but he won't get enough touches to be a RB1. Heck with Peterson and Kamara there Ingram might be shipped out soon.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
It was clear that Murray wore down as the season went on, averaging just 3.5 yards per carry over the final six weeks, after averaging 4.87 over the first 10 weeks. There was just one game all season in which he didn't touch the ball at least 16 times, so he should still be a low-end RB1 by default.Despite playing in a clear timeshare last year where he failed to see more than 18 carries in all but one game, Ingram finished as the No. 10 running back. Sure, Peterson is going to steal some work, probably slightly more than Tim Hightower did. But getting him here as the 20th running back off the board is a steal.
Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Murray was a huge success in Tennessee with 1,287 yards rushing, 377 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns. He should be the lead back this year, but he needs to be handcuffed with second-year RB Derrick Henry, who should have a bigger role in the offense this year.Ingram was the lead back in New Orleans this year, finishing with 1,043 yards rushing, 319 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns. He will lose more touches to veteran RB Adrian Peterson and rookie RB Alvin Kamara, so he is more of a RB3 this year.
