The Browns have an improved offensive line which should now be among the best in football, but the rest of their offensive is questionable to say the least. Crowell made the best of his opportunity last year and should get the bulk of the carries to begin the season, but Duke Johnson is waiting for him to stumble and the hype on Crowell is carried away. The Saints did add Adrian Peterson, but even last season with Hightower, the Saints were still able to support two solid fantasy running backs. Ingram should be started nearly every week even if he doesn't end up the head dog in the running back committee, and should AP go down, we are looking at a surefire RB1.

I like Crowell, but I also like Duke Johnson. These two will continue to split time, but Crowell should also continue to be slightly ahead of Johnson in standard leagues and has some real upside with Hue Jackson committed to the run.Ingram is quickly getting crowded out in this backfield despite still being the lead back. The additions of Adrian Peterson and rookie Alvin Kamara will make it tough for Ingram to reach his potential this season, but Peterson's health and Kamara's rookieness do keep me in Ingram's corner overall.

Crowell remains an underrated talent and flashed that in 2016. With Cleveland's improved o-line, he could be in for a huge year if all goes well.

Crowell is one of my favorite players coming into this season. He will see more catches and carries this season as Duke Johnson is likely an afterthought. Auction Value $26 Ingram is the back to own in New Orleans, as he will be more productive than the already washed up Peterson. Ingram had over 1,300 all purpose yards in 2016. The only thing stopping a repeat is Sean Payton. Auction Value $18

Whole new O-line should give him plenty of rushing lanes and no RB was drafted so he should be seeing a similar work to last year provided he maintains a high level of performance. Duke Johnson could and probably should see an increased workload though. He had a career year in most categories, but he won't get enough touches to be a RB1. Heck with Peterson and Kamara there Ingram might be shipped out soon.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
What do you get when you mix an average running back with a great offensive line? An RB2, that's Crowell in a nutshell. Most point to his yards per carry (4.8) being great last year, but he totaled 48 percent of his rushing yards on just 16 carries. Their offensive line may just be the best in the NFL at this point, making him an intriguing option.Despite playing in a clear timeshare last year where he failed to see more than 18 carries in all but one game, Ingram finished as the No. 10 running back. Sure, Peterson is going to steal some work, probably slightly more than Tim Hightower did. But getting him here as the 20th running back off the board is a steal.

Crowell was solid this year with 952 yards rushing, 319 yards receiving and 7 touchdowns. He'll have competition from RB Duke Johnson, but he could be an excellent flex option on a team that should improve dramatically this off-season. Ingram was the lead back in New Orleans this year, finishing with 1,043 yards rushing, 319 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns. He will lose more touches to veteran RB Adrian Peterson and rookie RB Alvin Kamara, so he is more of a RB3 this year.
