I think the Eagles will still utilize a RBBC next year, but Ajayi should emerge as the lead back in that RBBC and he should have RB2 value with upside. This knee injury that may keep him out a game or two and could be a lingering issue has me thinking Ajayi is more of a low-end RB2 than a high-end RB2. Ingram averaged 14.1 fantasy points per game this year. I think Ingram will lose touches to Kamara next year and he is suspended for the first four games. He probably will have only flex value for the season and RB2 value once he starts playing in Week 5.

Eagles plan run with Ajayi as feature back but will still lose snaps to Clement and SprolesPED ban on top of contract year will result in a much larger reduction in role than originally anticipated
Andrew Gould
FantasyPros
A midseason trade revitalized Ajayi, who accrued 5.8 YPC with Philadelphia after cementing the title as 2017's biggest bust with 3.4 YPC and no end-zone visits with Miami. If only the Eagles afforded him more than 10 handoffs per game without a TD tally matching his fumbles (two). Ajayi, who recorded zero yards on eight red-zone touches for Philadelphia, may continue to see a limited snap count in a multi-back timeshare despite reports indicating more opportunities. Although he undoubtedly wields first-round upside if given a featured role in an elite upside, he's more likely an over-drafted RB2 whose usage will agitate investors all year. Beware a lower-body injury that kept him out of practice to end August.Don't forget about Ingram after the first few rounds. He stockpiled 190.5 fantasy points in 12 games after New Orleans dealt Adrian Peterson--a mark eclipsed during the whole season by just seven other rushers--so he should make plenty of noise upon returning from a four-game suspension. Two postseason duds and eight of his dozen scores occurring inside the five cast some doubt over a full-fledged repeat, but anyone comfortable in finding a September seat-holder can snag 12 games of a low-end RB1 at a low-end RB2 or flex price.
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
Ajayi has been a YAC stalwart in his young career, and he's in one of the NFL's most potent offenses. But Philly seems intent on using a role-specific platoon, with Ajayi locked into early downs, but not necessarily goal line work - sans much PPR and TD upside, expect Ajayi to be solid but not spectacularIf he missed four games last season, he'd still have finished No. 13 at RB for the season, and in '15 he was No. 13 despite actually missing four games - even if you factor in some regression because the overall NO backfield production was insane, you can make a fair case for ranking him back-end top 20 at RB

 *Suspended 4 Games*
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Ajayi was extraordinarily inefficient last season with the Dolphins but took off once he got to Philly. The issue is that they didn't use him as a workhorse and may see a further split in the Eagles' workload with Sproles back. Yes, he has flashed ability at times, but it is merely a dream to imagine Ajayi has RB1 upside at this point. Rather, you are hoping for even 15 touches per week.Ingram is set to miss 4 games due to suspension, but he was rock solid last year and is expected to maintain the same role upon his re-entry. From the moment he comes back, you are getting an easy RB1, so if you believe you can muster a win or two without your fifth round pick over the first month then don't hesitate to get Ingram on your roster at that point.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
I know that by ranking Ajayi outside the top-24 running backs, he won't wind up on any of my teams, and that's something I'm okay with. Doug Pederson has shown us that he wants to use a committee approach in his offense, He topped 34 snaps just once during his time with the Eagles, with none of the final four games netting any more than 30 snaps. When you're playing that many snaps, your upside goes out the window and you'll be extremely touchdown dependent. With Darren Sproles returning and Corey Clement showing off late in the season, there's no reason to expect it to change. He's going to be frustrating to own, even if he is a top-24 running back at year's end. He's suspended for the first four games of the season, sure, but getting him for 12 games will be more valuable than someone like Derrick Henry, who will be touchdown-reliant in all 16 games. It's clear that the Saints don't want to shift more of the early-down work to Alvin Kamara, as Sean Payton said they don't want to change his workload much, even during the first four weeks while Ingram is out. Ingram is also due for some positive regression in the touchdown department, as he caught 58 passes last year without a single touchdown. The league average among running backs is one every 25.6 receptions. Even with his suspension, Ingram is worthy of a top-20 running back selection.

QB List
I've just personally never been a big Ajayi believer, but I do think he can be reasonably productive in Philadelphia this year. He's going to be in a high-powered offense with arguably the best offensive line in football. The question is just going to be volume, as Ajayi has always been a volume guy. He's not particularly effective with each carry, finishing the year with a -5.1% DVOA, but if he gets lots of carries, that can mitigate that and translate to fantasy points. However, he's going to be splitting some time with Corey Clement and potentially Darren Sproles (depending on his health). Wendell Smallwood also saw some work last year and the team signed Matt Jones this offseason, so there are a lot of mouths to feed. Ajayi is undoubtedly at the top of that food chain, but if his volume is limited, his success will be too. He's in a perfect situation though.Even with the Saints using Alvin Kamara as much as they did last year, Ingram was still able to manage 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns, including seven top-10 finishes last year (one of them as number one). Unfortunately, he's got two things working against him this year-first, there's the likelihood that he's going to lose work to Kamara after his explosive season last year, and second, he's suspended for the first four games of the year. He should still have value once he returns from his suspension given the high-octane offense the Saints have and how good their offensive line is, but he's not the high-end RB2 he used to be.
Kevin Wheeler
NFL Mock
In 2016 Ajayi racked up 1272 yards on 260 carries and 8 TD's and finished as the RB11 in both standard and PPR scoring. Last year Miami ran him out of town when he struggled in an anemic offense. He was not heavily used when he got to Philly, but his touches did increase every week until the Superbowl. He was also hyper efficient gaining 5.8 yards per carry and 9.1 yards per reception. Despite the general perception Clements usage went down with Ajayi's arrival, even with Smallwood going down with injury. The Eagles have the number 1 offensive line as graded by PFF, and 18 RB targets and 192 carries vacated. This is Ajayi's backfield and he's in for a big year. 4 game suspension
Jody Smith
FantasyPros
Ajayi's role only grew as he became more familiar with Philly's offense. With LeGarrette Blount no longer in town, Ajayi should have solid TD upside. Ingram is a proven producer and a potential championship-winning addition if his owners can survive not having him for five out of the first six weeks of the season.
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Ajayi can mash as good as anyone, so his upside hinges to how Philly uses him. Early signs indicate he could be a true feature back.Ingram will miss a handful of games due to a suspension, so his season long value takes a big hit. He's still a solid pick and can return RB1 value in any given week.
