FantasyPros
The career-low 3.7 YPC is ugly, and Miller mustered just 6 TDs for the second-straight season. He took a backseat to Alfred Blue in December, out-touched 50-30 in the final three games with deteriorating snap counts (49.1, 34.5, and 30.9 %) to close the season. Yet he preserved his fourth-consecutive top-20 finish with a RB14 rank by filing 12.3 standard PPG with Deshaun Watson under center. D'Onta Foreman won't be ready to start 2018, so Miller's a boring, but productive starter poised to assume a featured role.Don't forget about Ingram after the first few rounds. He stockpiled 190.5 fantasy points in 12 games after New Orleans dealt Adrian Peterson--a mark eclipsed during the whole season by just seven other rushers--so he should make plenty of noise upon returning from a four-game suspension. Two postseason duds and eight of his dozen scores occurring inside the five cast some doubt over a full-fledged repeat, but anyone comfortable in finding a September seat-holder can snag 12 games of a low-end RB1 at a low-end RB2 or flex price.
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
In two seasons in HOU, hasn't shown the electricity that he had in MIA, but he's back down to his old Dolphins playing weight, backup Foreman has landed on the PUP and HC O'Brien has gushed about his confidence in Miller's fully featured skills - and let's not forget, Miller was appreciably better with QB Watson at the helm - might seem like a ho-hum option, but there's a lot to like hereIf he missed four games last season, he'd still have finished No. 13 at RB for the season, and in '15 he was No. 13 despite actually missing four games - even if you factor in some regression because the overall NO backfield production was insane, you can make a fair case for ranking him back-end top 20 at RB

FantasyPros
Miller is expected to be the starter at least to open the season. Foreman is coming off a torn achillies, which is a difficult injury for running backs to bounce back from. Assuming Miller can hold him off, we may be looking at a top 15 running back in this strong Texans' offense.Ingram is set to miss 4 games due to suspension, but he was rock solid last year and is expected to maintain the same role upon his re-entry. From the moment he comes back, you are getting an easy RB1, so if you believe you can muster a win or two without your fifth round pick over the first month then don't hesitate to get Ingram on your roster at that point.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
There were rumors that the Texans may cut Miller this offseason, but nothing ever came to fruition, as it's possible that D'Onta Foreman starts the season on the PUP list after his Achilles injury last year. If that's the case, Miller should move up even further on my list, as he's one of the few running backs who've consistently seen 250-plus touches over the last four years. If Deshaun Watson can be even half the quarterback he was last year, Miller is going to find himself going against a lot of light defensive fronts, which could be the reason he averaged 14.9 PPR points per game with Watson, compared to just 9.9 PPR points per game with Tom Savage. The reports are that Miller showed up in great shape to training camp and looks like the back he was back in Miami. If that's the case, he's a steal in the RB20-25 range. He's suspended for the first four games of the season, sure, but getting him for 12 games will be more valuable than someone like Derrick Henry, who will be touchdown-reliant in all 16 games. It's clear that the Saints don't want to shift more of the early-down work to Alvin Kamara, as Sean Payton said they don't want to change his workload much, even during the first four weeks while Ingram is out. Ingram is also due for some positive regression in the touchdown department, as he caught 58 passes last year without a single touchdown. The league average among running backs is one every 25.6 receptions. Even with his suspension, Ingram is worthy of a top-20 running back selection.

QB List
It's tough for me to know what to feel about Lamar Miller this year. I've always liked his talent, but he was extremely underwhelming last year, and I truly believe that, if D'Onta Foreman wasn't hurt, he'd probably be the starter coming into the season (I mean, Miller did lose a large number of carries to Alfred Blue last year). He also finished the season with a -2.8% DVOA, and while Foreman may be hurt now, he's not expected to be out for long and might be back Week 1 (as of this writing). Still, Miller can be useful, as he did have six top-20 finishes last season. Just watch out for Foreman when he comes back.Even with the Saints using Alvin Kamara as much as they did last year, Ingram was still able to manage 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns, including seven top-10 finishes last year (one of them as number one). Unfortunately, he's got two things working against him this year-first, there's the likelihood that he's going to lose work to Kamara after his explosive season last year, and second, he's suspended for the first four games of the year. He should still have value once he returns from his suspension given the high-octane offense the Saints have and how good their offensive line is, but he's not the high-end RB2 he used to be.
Jody Smith
FantasyPros
Miller has been under-the-radar all offseason and is poised to continue to move up all rankings as the status of D'Onta Foreman continues to look bleak. Ingram is a proven producer and a potential championship-winning addition if his owners can survive not having him for five out of the first six weeks of the season.
Kevin Wheeler
NFL Mock
Miller is only one of two players in the NFL with 1,200+ scrimmage yds and 6+ TDs in 4 straight seasons. Figuring out #Texans backfield may be among keys to fantasy season: * Softest SOS in NFL, good for run-friendly game scripts * Improved DEF with return of Watt & Mercilus * Have finished top 11 in rush attempts all 4 years under BOB * Dual-threat QB to help spring running lanes @EvanSilva 4 game suspension
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Miller is still talented and has a decent role, but the presence of Foreman should keep his ceiling low.Ingram will miss a handful of games due to a suspension, so his season long value takes a big hit. He's still a solid pick and can return RB1 value in any given week.
Nick Zylak
Fantasy Football Advice
I'm skeptical that Foreman will be back to start the season. Achilles injuries can take a while to come back from, especially for RB's. That would make Miller the workhorse on a team with a solid offense. He should be a RB 2 which makes him a great value at his current ADP
Andrew Erickson
Gridiron Experts
We saw how good Miller good be in 2017 with Watson at QB. He finished as RB1-2 50% of the time in 2017. Locked in as a RB2 with upside with Watson going late. No competition with Foreman's injury. Gonna get the volume.
Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Miller does not look like he will ever be a RB1 in Houston, but if QB Deshaun Watson can return from injury, Miller has an excellent shot of being a RB2 on an explosive offense. Ingram averaged 14.1 fantasy points per game this year. I think Ingram will lose touches to Kamara next year and he is suspended for the first four games. He probably will have only flex value for the season and RB2 value once he starts playing in Week 5.
