The Saints did add Adrian Peterson, but even last season with Hightower, the Saints were still able to support two solid fantasy running backs. Ingram should be started nearly every week even if he doesn't end up the head dog in the running back committee, and should AP go down, we are looking at a surefire RB1.Coleman was dynamic last year even with Freeman starting ahead of him. Much of that, however, was due to a load of touchdowns. Now that Kyle Shanahan is gone and the TDs are likely to regress, he should not be drafted as though he will perform like an every week flex like fantasy owners were spoiled with last season.

Ingram is quickly getting crowded out in this backfield despite still being the lead back. The additions of Adrian Peterson and rookie Alvin Kamara will make it tough for Ingram to reach his potential this season, but Peterson's health and Kamara's rookieness do keep me in Ingram's corner overall.Coleman had great touchdown production last season, and it will be tough for him to replicate that on his number of touches. Of course, if Devonta Freeman were to go down, Coleman becomes a first-rounder, but that's not something we can bank on.

Coleman is an explosive freak just waiting to bust open behind Devonta Freeman. He is the mother of all handcuffs.

Ingram is the back to own in New Orleans, as he will be more productive than the already washed up Peterson. Ingram had over 1,300 all purpose yards in 2016. The only thing stopping a repeat is Sean Payton. Auction Value $18 Coleman's ankle injury should not be an issue going into the preseason. If Coleman can play 16 games, he will account for double-digit touchdowns. Auction Value $19

FantasyPros
Despite playing in a clear timeshare last year where he failed to see more than 18 carries in all but one game, Ingram finished as the No. 10 running back. Sure, Peterson is going to steal some work, probably slightly more than Tim Hightower did. But getting him here as the 20th running back off the board is a steal.Still feels too high for a backup running back who just lost one of the best offensive coordinators in football, but he does offer splash potential. Had just two games with more than 58 rushing yards in 2016, and touchdowns regression is all but certain.

Ingram was the lead back in New Orleans this year, finishing with 1,043 yards rushing, 319 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns. He will lose more touches to veteran RB Adrian Peterson and rookie RB Alvin Kamara, so he is more of a RB3 this year.Coleman tallied 941 yards from scrimmage and he scored 11 touchdowns in just 13 games. I see no reason he cannot have RB2 value again next year, even with RB Devonta Freeman remaining the starter.
