Lineups
The Ravens are going to throw the ball a lot more in 2020 - their rushing production is statistically unsustainable and it's unlikely they are playing with the lead in as many games as their schedule gets significantly harder. Lamar Jackson showed a solid chemistry with Marquise Brown last season and there is minimal competition for targets in the offense. Hollywood is a sophomore with WR1 upside who you can get as late as the 8th or 9th round in some leagues.
Draft Engine
Draft Engine
After posting the lowest yards-per-catch average of his career in 2018, Diggs set career-high marks of 1,130 yards and 17.9 yards per catch while averaging more than 75 receiving yards per game for the first time in his five NFL seasons. Acquired by the Bills in March in exchange for 2020 first-, fifth- and sixth-round picks and a '21 fourth-round pick, Diggs will be Buffalo's top receiving option.Brown's rookie year was bookended by a four-catch, 147-yard, two-touchdown effort in a season-opening blowout of Miami and a seven-catch, 126-yard game in Baltimore's home loss to Tennessee in the playoffs' Divisional Round. In between, he only twice surpassed 50 receiving yards in a game and only twice caught more than four passes in a game for the run-oriented Ravens.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Stefon Diggs had a 2019 that was totally out of character, gaining career-high yards on his lowest target share since his debut season. His efficiency went through the roof while he received under a third of his red zone targets. Now things get even more complicated with his move to the Buffalo Bills. Will he perform like John Brown in 2019 or will they poach each other's points? My greatest concern is his weekly floor in this run-first offence paired with a stingy defense. He'll have some big games and is a strong Best Ball target but I believe his overall ceiling is severely capped at WR2.I won't be drafting Marquise Brown in any leagues outside Best Ball this year. His upside is massively capped by the way the Ravens run their offense and by his style as a mostly deep threat. While he'll have some massive games, he's equally likely to score you less than five points. In fact he failed to pass 23 yards in half of his starts. You can talk about injuries and regression all you like, I'll draft a guy I may at least have a chance of feeling comfortable starting.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Going from Kirk Cousins to Josh Allen isn't going to be a highlight of Diggs' career, as Cousins has continually been one of the better deep-ball passers, while Allen was among the worst in 2019. Diggs actually led the league in yardage on passes that traveled over 20 yards in the air last year. The Bills are still a run-first team that has a top-tier defense, so it's hard to expect a big jump in pass attempts. They targeted their wide receivers 310 times last year, which was a lot for a team that threw the ball just 513 times. The 60.4 percent target share was the fourth-highest mark in the league. So, again, it's tough to say there will be more to go around. Knowing that John Brown was fantastic last year (115 targets), as was Cole Beasley (104 targets), it's tough to take targets away from them, but we have to start taking them from someone because you don't trade for someone like Diggs and not target him. Still, giving him even 115 targets might be too generous, as it'd completely crush the value of Brown, who already has experience with the quarterback/offense. Realistically, I have Diggs down for 111 targets in my projections. When tied to Allen's inconsistencies, that is a WR3 in fantasy who can get into WR2 territory at year's end, similarly to the way Brown did last year. Diggs is probably a top-eight wide receiver in the league, but you need to targets to move up the boards in fantasy football. I'd be happy landing him as my WR3, but that's about it.He was coming off foot surgery last year, and it was the reason I was avoiding him in drafts. Same calendar year surgery on foot/ankle never goes well for pass catchers. Still, Brown went out there and played well the first two weeks, racking up 253 yards and two touchdowns over the first two weeks. Unfortunately, the injuries to his lower body added up as the year went on and his performances reflected that, as he topped 50 yards just once over the remaining 12 games he played. Offensive coordinator Greg Roman has said Brown's "had a great offseason." Brown's schedule is great to start the year, too. In Weeks 2-5, he'll play against the Texans, Chiefs, Washington, and Bengals. The upside to Brown is a DeSean Jackson-like presence of someone who won't be a consistent WR1, but rather one you play as a WR2/3 who gives you "boom" potential on a weekly basis. However, if the Ravens don't up their pass attempts, it'll be hard figuring out when those booms will come. Relying on him as more than a WR3 this year would probably be a mistake, because there's not much evidence suggesting they'll throw the ball a lot more than they did in 2019.
Rob Wilson
The Fantasy Footballers
Avoid a receiver changing teams, especially one projecting to lose work.Perfect breakout candidate, a top WR3 target for all formats
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
Stefon Diggs is now a member of the Buffalo Bills and in regards to fantasy, I don't love it. Josh Allen may have a strong arm, but it's not all that accurate. Expect to see a handful of huge games from Diggs along with some duds. I'd rather have him as a flex option than a weekly starter.Brown had an up and down rookie season where he dealt with injuries but also showed real potential when at 100%. Now he enters year two in the NFL and should be completely healthy giving him a chance to be a terrific mid-round value. My only concern for Brown is how much the Ravens run the football, that could hurt him a few times but over 16 games it's not a reason to avoid him.
Kevin Wheeler
Draftwize
Since 2009, only 26.0% of WRs to average 10+ PPG and then change teams have improved their PPG in the following season. Change the PPG threshold to 12 and that number drops to 20.9%. At 15 it's 0.0%. Last year Stefon Diggs avg 14.1 ppg @JackMiller02Hollywood Brown is a massive value because of *where* he sees his targets. @GrahamBarfield

Diggs didn't exactly land in the best offense for fantasy football purposes. This is a team that's built through the run game and solid defense, which doesn't lead to an insane amount of passing volume. Diggs should be the leader on this team from a targets perspective, but it may not lead to being anything more than a consistent WR2. John Brown and Cole Beasley are still going to remain involved and they'll effectively limit Diggs' overall ceiling.Unfortunately, Brown doesn't exactly play in the best offense to maximize his skills for fantasy football. He has the talent to be a top-24 WR, but the Ravens simply do not pass the ball enough for him to return value. He's a boom/bust play that's best plugged in as a WR3/FLEX option on a weekly basis.

The Vikings were 30th in pass attempts, which is a big reason why Diggs had only 68 receptions, 1,191 yards, and six touchdowns. He moves to another run-oriented offense, where he should be a mid-range WR2.

Had the lowest target count since his rookie year but the play action did wonders for his Yards per catch. 4 more yards per catch than his second best season. Team was 9th in play action attempts in 2019. Are the lack of targets a concern when Thielen only played 10 games though? Diggs sure thinks so. Led the league in yardage(635) from deep passes in 2019. Josh Allen - The most inaccurate starting QB on deep balls in 2019(30.9% accuracy). John Brown finished as WR15 last year..The good news: He was the leading target getter at WR. The Bad: The Ravens were 32nd in attempts in 2019, meaning Marquise had 71 targets. I do believe he can be an elite deep threat, with plenty of opportunity to gash the defense when they cheat up to sop the run but that is a narrative versus the numbers that Baltimore is most likely to repeat. He did have the screw removed from his foot this offseason so hopefully he can stay healthy. I see him as a flex play with upside, but the upside is not the ceiling in this case.. There are big Trusses in the way
