FantasyPros
I have had Green as the receiver to own in Cincinnati most of the offseason, but training camp has been battling hamstring issues and just does not appear that he can stay healthy. Boyd seems like the receiver to own in Cincinnati at this point.
Draft Engine
Draft Engine
After having served as the Rams' quarterbacks coach in 2018, the offense Bengals head coach Zac Taylor installed in Cincinnati last season was similar to the one Sean McVay implemented in Los Angeles. It turned out to be Boyd who benefited most among Cincinnati's wideouts, as he was one of only seven NFL players to surpass 145 targets in 2019.After finishing tied for third among NFL players in receiving touchdowns while leading the league with an average of 18.0 yards per reception in 2017, Jones was limited by a knee injury to nine games in 2018. With Darrell Bevell replacing Jim Bob Cooter as the Lions' offensive coordinator, Jones finished '19 tied for fourth in TD receptions despite missing the season's final three games.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Tyler Boyd put together another strong WR2 season on the back of 1000+ yards and 5 TDs, despite some bad luck around the goal line. Now rejoined by A.J. Green and John Ross and with the additions of Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins, this offense is going to look very different in 2020. That takes away from Boyd's upside a little but he should remain a major part of an offence that might finally get it together this season. He's great value in the middle of the seventh round.Marvin Jones remains amazing value as the Lions WR2 is available in the 9th round of drafts despite showing massive upside with Matthew Stafford fit. While injuries will remain an issue for the aging WR, he has little competition for the job and is a lot closer to Golladay in opportunity than most realize.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
After finishing as the WR17 in 2018 and then the WR23 in 2019, Boyd's being disrespected in fantasy drafts, coming off the board outside the top 30 wide receivers. Sure, A.J. Green is back in the lineup, but drafters aren't high on him, either. Oddly enough, Boyd was a better fantasy asset with Green in the lineup in 2018. Boyd is 25 years old, it's surely not his age. Do people really think that Joe Burrow will be a downgrade from Andy Dalton? That can't be it. Looking at Burrow at LSU, his top receiver (stat-wise) was Justin Jefferson, who put up a stupid 111 receptions for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns. Jefferson was his slot receiver. While it's a different offense, we know Boyd saw 147 targets in the first year of Zac Taylor's offense. He's the ideal WR3 who's already proven to be better than that, and if the public is right on Green being "done", then Boyd would be a mega-hit in fantasy. When doing the "Boom, Bust, and Everything In Between" series, I can't help but notice how undervalued Jones is nearly every season. The "bust" score is anything less than 8.0 PPR points. Jones busted just 23.1 percent in 2019, the 22nd lowest mark among wide receivers. He was at just 22.2 percent in 2018, the 25th lowest mark. And lastly, he was at just 18.8 percent in 2017, the ninth-lowest mark. Meanwhile, he'll give you big games here and there while not completely tanking your team. If you want to wait at wide receiver in your draft and play him as your WR3, it's not that bad.
Frank Bonincontri
Fantasy Wire HQ
I am not worried about Joe Burrow getting him the ball. Boyd is the least talked about WR in fantasy and usually overlooked but his 90 receptions and 1,000+ yards in 2019, he should most certainly have your attention for 2020
Rob Wilson
The Fantasy Footballers
AJ Green has not stayed healthy, Boyd is another great pick as the likelihood Green misses time is high.
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
Boyd had a career year in 2019 totaling 90 receptions, 1,046 yards, and five TDs. Both the receptions and yardage were career-highs. His only issue was getting in the end-zone, Joe Burrow should make that a lot easier. Even if A.J. Green manages to stay healthy, Boyd can still finish as a high-end WR3/low-end WR2.Year after year Jones continues to stay fantasy relevant but yet still never feels like a safe pick. He has been a boom or bust type player at times which is not something you necessarily love in terms of fantasy. He's a solid bench stash and in the right matchup he could go off, just don't expect it every week.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Jones is the poster boy for being undervalued in fantasy circles. If you look at his last 16 games, Jones has 78 catches for 1,017 yards and 11 touchdowns, comparable numbers to Kenny Golladay who is valued as a WR1. He also has the potential to be an impact fantasy player if Golladay were to get injured. Even if not, Jones's steady numbers are worthy of starting as a WR3, and he's the type of boring player who doesn't excite you during draft day, but who ultimately is an integral part of winning rosters.
Kevin Wheeler
Draftwize
Boyd 2018 16 game pace (played 13.5): 128 targets, 90 receptions, 1218 receiving yards, 8 TDs 2019 Non-Ryan Finley 16 game pace (played 13): 156 targets, 96 receptions, 1085 receiving yards, 5 TDs. @FF_RyanB Tyler Boyd gets a lot of targets, but they have been lower leverage for fantasy points. @LordReebs
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
Boyd has plenty of competition for targets this season, but this offense is going to be among the league's best. There should be plenty of scoring opportunities for Boyd and he's a steal at his current ADP. He's a fantastic WR2/WR3 option for your roster.Jones finished last season as a top-30 WR and he's currently being drafted as the WR39 in ADP Consensus. Jones is a solid candidate to outperform his ADP this season and he's super cheap in drafts right now. He's someone who would be a perfect WR3/FLEX option for your fantasy football roster.

Burrow's addition is huge, and Green's return isn't as disastrous as many might think, since Boyd is at his most dangerous when feasting upon No.2 corners. A near lock to go underappreciated in drafts, and could outpace Green if he develops the better immediate rapportWas a Top-10 WR during Stafford and Driskell, with 9+ TDs in 3 straight years. Perennially disrespected.

I might be in the minority but barely putting up 1000 yards on 150 targets is more of a caution for me than anything. QB play was bad, no doubt. Think he is more of a complimentary piece in an offense That can be Jarvis Landry like at best. Not a bad thing to be, but I think his athleticism caps him.Hasn't been able to stay healthy the last 2 years but all he does is put up a 60/900/5 season every year he's healthy. A low upside flex play.
