Lineups
The Bears were forced to throw the ball much more than they wanted to last season as their defense and run game faltered. Allen Robinson was the primary beneficiary as he had a career-high 154 targets and finished with 98 catches for 1,147 yards and 7 touchdowns. Robinson is an elite talent who has consistently produced despite poor quarterback play for the entirety of his career. If Nick Foles takes over for Mitchell Trubisky this season, it could represent an upgrade for Robinson. Either way, he's likely to be among the league's target leaders again as the Bears' ancillary pass-catching options are underwhelming.
Draft Engine
Draft Engine
The No. 1 option in Chicago's passing game, Robinson has led the Bears in targets in each of his two seasons with the team. While it would be foolish to expect Robinson to come close to duplicating the 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns he posted in 2015, he did join Brandon Marshall and Marty Booker as the third Bears wideout ever to reach 98 receptions in a season.A season after a fractured ankle ended Beckham's 2017 in Week 5, he sustained a bruised quadriceps that sidelined him for the final four games of 2018. Although he suited up for all 16 games last season, he played through a core muscle injury that required surgery in January. He enters 2020 as an injury risk and with his fantasy fate tied to an immature QB who was dreadful in '19.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Allen Robinson turned back the clock in 2019, parlaying his first healthy season in three years into a WR11 finish. The most impressive aspect of his effort was the volume he received, with 18 more receptions than his breakout 1400 year sophomore season. While the emergence of Anthony Miller may threaten that volume, the release of Taylor Gabriel should mean A-Rob is locked into 150-odd targets. Given the possible positive efficiency regression if this offense takes a must needed step forward, Robinson is a real chance for a massive season. He's great value in the early 3rd round but can be taken even later than that.OBJ once again battled injuries and poor QB play as he disappointed for the third consecutive season. This year was arguably worse as he played 16 games despite injury but continued to disappoint most weeks. It's very difficult to trust Odell to any extent, especially with the potential move to an even more run-heavy offense and the arrival of Austin Hooper. While the possible injury issues for Jarvis Landry may initially open up some opportunities, there are many safer options this high in the draft.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
We saw a 150-plus target season for Robinson in 2019, which was a rarity among wide receivers. Based on where his targets took place, he had the fourth-most expected fantasy points among wide receivers last year. There's little reason to expect that to change, as the Bears lost Taylor Gabriel and replaced him with an older, slower version in Ted Ginn. There were just two games last season where Robinson finished with fewer than seven targets, making him an easy every-week start. In fact, he posted WR2 or better numbers in 62.5 percent of his games, which ranked fifth behind only Michael Thomas, DeAndre Hopkins, Julio Jones, and Davante Adams. The fact that the Bears snagged Nick Foles only helps the Bears receivers, as they have twice the chance at competent quarterback play. Robinson should be considered a high-floor, low-end WR1, as it's unlikely he comes with the ceiling of those with better quarterback play. What in the world happened to Beckham in 2019? If we were replaying last season, we wouldn't be drafting him until the fifth or sixth round of fantasy drafts. But that's where fantasy players go wrong. That's a one-year sample size. We had 59 career games prior to that we can look at where he was the best game-by-game fantasy wide receiver of all-time. Which do you trust? Everyone on the Browns struggled last year and knowing that Beckham was playing through a hernia only added to the disappointment. 2019 was the first year he'd posted WR2 or better numbers in less than 66.7 percent of his games (which is ridiculous). We know the offense is changing, but that also comes with some concerns. While in Minnesota last year, Kevin Stefanski's wide receivers combined for just 201 targets and a 43.1 percent target share, which ranked as the fourth-lowest mark in football. Stefon Diggs, who is also very talented, saw just 94 targets in 15 games last year. While I don't expect the Browns to be as run-heavy as the Vikings were, it's an added level of concern. But here's the thing - it's not like a lot of the wide receivers in the 10-15 range don't come with similar issues or question marks. Beckham has done it before and has true No. 1 overall wide receiver upside. He's in the prime of his career at 27 years old and his only competition for targets (Jarvis Landry) is coming off hip surgery. Getting him as your high-end WR2 is worth it.
Frank Bonincontri
Fantasy Wire HQ
He got it done with Trubs last season, but with Nick Foles running an RPO offense, I like Arob even more.Curious to see if he is truly over the 2019 injuries, but I just don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth. Can't live off that one-handed catch forever...
Rob Wilson
The Fantasy Footballers
Foles is the best QB he's ever had. Robinson should be a steady back end WR1 again in 2020OBJ looks to bounce back ala Deandre Hopkins in 2016. He could produce an elite season for an average cost. Top target for teams going RB-RB
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
Even while catching balls from Mitch Trubisky, Allen Robinson was a legitimate stud in 2019 catching 98 passes for 1,147 yards and seven TDs. Now, he may get an upgrade at QB with Nick Foles in Chicago. Similarly to many players, COVID will impact his ability to work with his new QB but once they get on the same page, we could see a more dangerous Robinson than ever. There may not be a more confusing WR in fantasy than OBJ. After his trade to Cleveland last year it seemed like he was primed for his best season yet, things did not go the way he expected. It was a very disappointing season for OBJ last year and now he needs to prove that he still has WR1 talent. That being said, if he and Baker Mayfield get on the same page, OBJ should outperform his ADP fairly easily.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Beckham fought through a core injury all last year, which he addressed this offseason with surgery. His talent is undeniable, but there are plenty of red flags. He's missed 21 games already in his career, has to share targets with a crowded group of pass-catchers, and will be playing for a head coach in Kevin Stefanski whose offense ran the ball 48% of the time last year. So it's unlikely that Beckham is going to see close to the more than 10 targets per game he has averaged in his career. There's immense upside with Beckham because, well, he's Beckham. But he's not going to see the 24.9% target share he saw last year, so you're better off taking him as your WR2 and hoping everything breaks right.
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
Was the lipstick on Bears' piggish offense in 2019 with Top 10 WR finish in FAN PTS - sounds crazy, but Foles arguably best passing QB he's ever been paired withFlashed occasional vintage play-making skills in 2019 despite playing through sports hernia - at 27, with health restored, expect a big rebound, especially if WR Landry misses time

Robinson was the lone bright spot in the passing game, finishing 2019 with 1149 yards from scrimmage and 7 touchdowns. I think whether Nick Foles or Mitchell Trubisky is the starter, he is a WR2 capped by a dicey QB situation.OBJ had a horrible first year in Cleveland with 1,045 yards receiving and 4 receiving touchdowns. He is more of a WR2 that needs to stay healthy and have better chemistry with Baker Mayfield to achieve WR1 status.

There are very few players that we can claim who could finish as the No. 1 overall fantasy WR this season. Robinson is one of those players with his skillset and the offense that he's in. If Nick Foles is the starting QB, this offense is going to be able to move the ball more effectively than they did last season, which means even more scoring opportunities and targets for the receiving options. Anthony Miller is Robinson's only real threat for targets in this offense and Robinson was incredibly productive last season with Mitchell Trubisky throwing him the ball. Robinson saw 154 targets and 98 receptions in 2019 and there's a possibility we see that number go up this year. Don't miss out on drafting Robinson, especially when you factor in his ADP right now.OBJ is moving into the Adam Thielen role in Kevin Stefanksi's offense and should be the target leader in this offense. As long as he can stay healthy, OBJ has the potential to finish the season as a high-end WR1. However, there are legitimate concerns regarding OBJ's health and whether or not he's going to be to able to stay on the field for all 16 games. The benefit this season, versus in previous years, is that those concerns are baked into Beckham's ADP. He's a solid WR2 addition for your roster with WR1 upside.

Since being drafted (2014), among WRs w 300+ targets, ARob is: - 17th in PPR pg (14.32) - 12th Targets pg (8.78) - 20th in Rec pg (4.93) - 18th in YPG (65.96) - 13th in Rec TDs (33) with nothing at QB @FF_MarvinEOdell saw 137 targets last season and received a 26% target share, which led the team. Odell saw 15 targets in the red zone, but only came down with 1 TD in goal line situations. He finished with 4 TDs on the season. During the offseason Odell had sports hernia surgery and it was reported that he is near full health. In an interview he stated, "I would honestly say this is probably going to be one of my best seasons -- bigger, stronger, faster. This my time.'' Odell saw the 3rd most air yards last season, with 1,801. He is due for positive regression in a few different areas. @gnarlynickk

Never had fewer than 5 targets in any game. Super consistent despite the QB play.Mulligan please. Played the year hampered by his core and a coach. Odell Beckham in the Kevin Stefanski, Stefon Diggs role would be awesome because Odell is better..Odell had the second most deep targets in 2019, with some of the worst production. Only the Carolina duo had worse numbers, of WRs with at least 21 deep targets, go figure.
