Drake is unlikely to play the rest of the preseason after suffering a foot injury during Tuesday's practice, and he should be considered questionable for the regular season opener. If Drake misses time, Ballage will be the starter with unproven talents behind him. If Drake is healthy, this will be some degree of a committee backfield. In the preseason opener (when both were healthy), Drake played on 9-of-13 first-team snaps while Ballage subbed in for four snaps. - Miami Herald

Lindsay had over 1000 rushing yards, over 200 receiving yards and over 10 TDs last season. Despite that performance, he is now being disrespected and is expected to split carries. I still like Lindsay and expect him to get the lion's share of the touches. Solid pick at ADP.Last season, Drake was 41st in carries with 120 and 14th in receptions for RBs with 53, he still turned that into an RB17 finish in half ppr. This guy is elusive and productive, but it somehow looks like he will be splitting work with Ballage. He does have a direct path to all the pass catching work though, which will keep him in the RB2 discussion every week.
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Booker saw 30% of the Broncos snaps last season. With that usage likely out of the window now, there's room for Lindsay to be very good even with the involvement of Royce Freeman. Things were looking up for Lindsay when his OC referred to him and Freeman as Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman, but now his ceiling is capped with the signing of the pass-catching specialist Theo Riddick.
Nick Zylak
Fantasy Football Advice
I have my concerns with Lindsay. I think he's a good RB, but the Broncos aren't going to very good this season, and Freeman isn't going anywhere. He was great last season, but he was only given over 15 carries in three games, and his TD rate is likely to regress from 9 on under 200 carries. He's also likely to see a few less carries, assuming Freeman can remain healthy this season. Lindsay can absolutely pay off his ADP, and I do like him in that late 4th/early 5th round range...but he's rarely still on the board at that point. With Ballage getting first team reps, we need to stop taking Drake so early in drafts. Drake is the better RB, and is much better for fantasy, but if their coaching staff doesn't view him as the starter, then we can't be taking him in the middle rounds. Ballage was not good last season, forcing just three missed tackles on 45 touches. His YPC average is also inflated from one long run. So unless he took major steps forward in the offseason, it says a lot that they would view him as the starter. This is a bad offense, with the leagues worst offensive line. At this point, we need to just stay away.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Royce Freeman is plenty talented behind Lindsay so it would be fair to worry about that, but try to remember just how great Lindsay was last season. If he is healthy, he will play, even in a new scheme. Whether that means being more involved in the passing game or not, you can rely on Lindsay to produce again if he is on the field. With a new offense, it is anyone's guess how large of a workload Drake will be given. Frank Gore is out of the equation so perhaps Drake will take over as a true three-down back. That could be fire if Ryan Fitzpatrick wins the starting job, but if it is Rosen, there won't be much upside in the Miami running game. Just recently, it has been Kalen Ballage who is running with the first team so this is a situation to monitor.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
It's pretty rare to see a running back who finished top-12 his rookie season despite missing a game fall down draft boards the following year, especially when the team didn't add another running back. That's precisely the case with Lindsay, who will share some touches with Royce Freeman, but Lindsay has proven to be much more capable in the pass-game than Freeman, which gives him the nod as the starter. While there is some built-in risk, it's not enough to knock Lindsay out of solid RB2 territoryHe's the most talented running back on the Dolphins roster, though that didn't seem to mean all that much under Adam Gase. With Gase out of town, can Drake get the touches he deserves under new head coach Brian Flores? Most don't realize that despite not topping 17 touches in a game and only hitting more than 10 touches seven times in 2018 that Drake finished as the No. 17 running back. He doesn't offer top-five upside, but he might be a sturdy RB2 in 2019
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Lindsey concerns me with a new coaching staff, a new quarterback, a wrist surgery injury that should be fine by training camp, and RB Royce Freeman behind him on the depth chart. He is a risky RB2 with both upside coming off a solid rookie season and uncertainty as to his role in Year 2.
Kyle Yates
The Fantasy Footballers
Forever locked in fantasy football hell with Adam Gase as the Head Coach of the Miami Dolphins, Drake has now been set free! Under the new coaching staff, Drake stands to see a boost in overall touches this season and he has the talent to elevate himself into the Top-15 RB conversation. My only concern is the overall team talent and how many times Drake will be in scoring opportunities in 2019.
