Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Despite missing Week 17, Kupp finished as the No. 27 wide receiver in his rookie season, something that's not common in today's game. He did benefit from Robert Woods missing four games, and it now doesn't help that Brandin Cooks has been added to the mix. The part you can hang your hat on is that Kupp plays an entirely different role in the Rams offense than Cooks will, so it shouldn't affect his role too much. With Cooks, Woods, and Todd Gurley on the roster, it's going to be tough for Kupp to outperform last year's numbers without an injury. If there's one really good stat to support Kupp's continued success is his 23 red zone targets, which were more than double any other receiver on the team in 2017. Despite Marcus Mariota getting hurt in 2016 and struggling through much of 2017, Matthews remained consistent in his production, hauling in 61 percent of his passes for 14.5 and 15.0 yards per reception in each year. The area his production dipped, though, was targets and touchdowns. With Corey Davis slated for a bigger role in 2018, you should expect that decline to continue, though Matthews won't go away, as he's been extremely efficient with his targets. He's comparable to the Titans version of DeSean Jackson.

QB List
"White Jarvis Landry on the Rams", as Kupp is fondly called in some circles, had a great year last season. Using crisp routes and the great QB play of Jared Goff, Kupp turned a mere 4.1 receptions per game into 800+ yards and 5 TDS. As such, He seems to have cemented himself into the slot/possession receiver role for an offense that is sure to chug along throughout the long season. However, it remains to be seen how he and Woods will divvy up the scraps Brandin Cooks leaves behind, and as a result Kupp just barely falls out of the top 30.On our sister site Pitcherlist.com, we have a nickname for a pitcher that comes up to the majors and is wholly unspectacular: A Cup of Schmo. If ever there was such a thing in the NFL, it would be Rishard Matthews. Playing within a run-first Tennessee offense, Matthews is consistently ok, never extraordinary, and my bet is he will continue to do so even with an improved Mariota. Have fun!

23 targets and 13 receptions in the Red-zone in 2017. Nagging injury, stay away for now
Chet Gresham
WalterFootball
Kupp is good, but he's not Brandin Cooks. I like Kupp's ability and his value to the Rams, but he will have trouble getting the 94 targets he saw in his rookie season.Matthews is a solid fantasy player who often gets overlooked. He's still the No. 1 receiver and should be able to hold that designation another season even if Corey Davis shows improvement.
Andrew Gould
FantasyPros
Leading the Rams in targets (95) and receiving yards (869), Kupp composited a quiet WR27 rookie season. Nobody created a higher average cushion (7.4) than the 6'2" slot receiver, who caught 12 of 20 red-zone targets for five TDs. He has a far lower ceiling than teammates Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods, but he's also most likely to fall in drafts. Matthews never gets the attention he deserves despite averaging 6.5 targets and 58 yards per game in two seasons with the Titans. He solidified a WR37 season despite missing two games and posting four TDs after 2016's career-high nine. His WR52 ADP, while rising, oddly projects a steeper decline as drafters ogle hotshot teammate Corey Davis. Among the league leaders in average cushion (seven yards), he remains Marcus Mariota's steadiest downfield threat. Before pointing to a limited ceiling, he was the WR14 in 2016. He's the perfect late pick to complement an earlier upside gamble like Davis, but keep tabs on an injury that has sent him to the PUP list.
Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Everyone will flock to Cooks but Kupp looked great a a rook and already has chemistry with Goff. He's a fun value WR3 with WR2 upside
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Kupp finished as a top 30 fantasy receiver and the top rookie at his position last year. While there is, of course, room for growth, it is also possible that he has already shown his ceiling considering how polished Kupp was when he entered the league.Matthews will likely going to take a step back this season with the expected emergence of Corey Davis and the arrival of DIon Lewis. With that said, he was a top 36 receiver each of the past two seasons so it isn't like he will drop all the way out of fantasy relevance suddenly.

Win My Fantasy League
Cooks could see twice as many targets as Watkins did last year leaving Kupp as a volume based WR4 with WR2 upside
