NFL Mock
In 2017, Nelson Agholor had 62 recs, 768 yds, 9 TDs and 7 games of WR2 or better. there is no reason he wouldn't maintain this output, even with additions in the offense. Agholor had to carve out a role for himself and beat out incumbent Jordan Matthews. This year he'll be the main slot receiver and have an established role from the start. Agholor hasn't suited up for practice since Monday and didn't appear in Thursday's preseason opener against Pittsburgh. The Eagles have yet to address his status, though as of now, there's no concern about his status for the regular season. (8/13) Nagging injury, stay away for now
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
For someone who ranked 50th in targets per game among wide receivers last year, Agholor is getting a lot of love in early drafts. Knowing that, tied in with the fact that Carson Wentz will regress in the touchdown department, and you have yourself a recipe for disaster when taking him as a top-35 wide receiver (as he's currently being drafted). If Alshon Jeffery should wind up on the PUP list to start the season, Agholor will move up the ranks. Despite Marcus Mariota getting hurt in 2016 and struggling through much of 2017, Matthews remained consistent in his production, hauling in 61 percent of his passes for 14.5 and 15.0 yards per reception in each year. The area his production dipped, though, was targets and touchdowns. With Corey Davis slated for a bigger role in 2018, you should expect that decline to continue, though Matthews won't go away, as he's been extremely efficient with his targets. He's comparable to the Titans version of DeSean Jackson.
Staff Rankings
QB List
The breakout slot receiver for the Eagles showcased the freakish athleticism that had him drafted in the first round in 2015 throughout last season, posting almost 800 yards on a modest 95 receptions. With much-improved hands, Angholor blossomed within the Eagles' juggernaut offense and has little to no competition this season challenging him for his role. Expect similar, if not slightly better, numbers this season from the 4th year receiver as Wentz returns with a vengeance, though look for his bloated 9 TD's to fall to a more reasonable 5-7.On our sister site Pitcherlist.com, we have a nickname for a pitcher that comes up to the majors and is wholly unspectacular: A Cup of Schmo. If ever there was such a thing in the NFL, it would be Rishard Matthews. Playing within a run-first Tennessee offense, Matthews is consistently ok, never extraordinary, and my bet is he will continue to do so even with an improved Mariota. Have fun!
Chet Gresham
WalterFootball
Eagles players other than Carson Wentz are tough to feel 100 percent confident about because this offense has so many moving parts and players to target, but Agholor turned things around last season and I expect he's going to remain an integral part of this offense.Matthews is a solid fantasy player who often gets overlooked. He's still the No. 1 receiver and should be able to hold that designation another season even if Corey Davis shows improvement.
Andrew Gould
FantasyPros
Only five players snagged more red-zone receptions than Agholor, who turned four of those 13 catches into scores. Although an inconsistent yards producer with tallies of 11, nine, and minus-2 on his game log, eight TDs vaulted him to a WR22 finish. He also made significant strides all across the field by surging his catch % from 55.2 to 65.3. While Philadelphia's entire passing game comes with TD regression risk, his WR44 ADP assumes a drop in end-zone expeditions.Matthews never gets the attention he deserves despite averaging 6.5 targets and 58 yards per game in two seasons with the Titans. He solidified a WR37 season despite missing two games and posting four TDs after 2016's career-high nine. His WR52 ADP, while rising, oddly projects a steeper decline as drafters ogle hotshot teammate Corey Davis. Among the league leaders in average cushion (seven yards), he remains Marcus Mariota's steadiest downfield threat. Before pointing to a limited ceiling, he was the WR14 in 2016. He's the perfect late pick to complement an earlier upside gamble like Davis, but keep tabs on an injury that has sent him to the PUP list.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
While Agholor did manage eight touchdowns last season, a good chunk of his production came with Nick Foles under center. It isn't that he will suddenly be useless with Wentz back, but he does take enough of a backseat that we can't rely on him as a consistent scorer each week.Matthews will likely going to take a step back this season with the expected emergence of Corey Davis and the arrival of DIon Lewis. With that said, he was a top 36 receiver each of the past two seasons so it isn't like he will drop all the way out of fantasy relevance suddenly.

Aglohor has a chance to shine this season and should push for 80+ receptions and over 1,000 yards receiving
